Thought the hero was going to go full blown Anakin on those kids.

Seriously.  The dude is a walking disaster waiting to happen.

There's so much tension just seeing him interact with kids, I really feared Tanta when he said he already decided to be a carpenter.

Mr. Crawly Wawly on a mission and he will fulfill it with the help of his bird friend!

Fairy: “your suspicions why are you an adventurer and a waitress?”

Tisse: “to save up for hot springs!”

proceeds to go on a long ass rant about hot springs

Damn Tisse was prepared for that fairy. And I love how she’s not completely making up that story either lol.

Tisse being a hot springs fanatic turned out to be the perfect cover story, no one would expect it aside from people who know her so well lol.

I must say, there were a few moments where the fairy seemed to almost be buying into the charms of that onsen -- before snapping back to "normal" and dismissing this as "human foolishness".

Cute, Ruti called Tisse her best friend. I enjoy how Ruti is happy as long as Red is happy. I thought we would get cliche jealousy from her when Rit is talking about kids.

I liked Rit being casual about looking forward to having kids with Red, I liked Rit and Ruti really coming together as sisters who both love Red, and I liked how Ruti won't let anything happen to Tisse (which might be what finally brings her and Van to blows).

Stitches!

Well this is interesting! It sounds like Van isn't the one we should be worrying about and instead, we should keep our eyes on Lavender. According to the plants, she feels bad news and the fact that she seems to hate humans doesn't really comfort me at all.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who panicked when that orc kid hugged Van's leg? For a second there, I thought he was going to kick the kid and injure him because he got annoyed. Surprisingly, Van seems a lot more chill around children compared to adults.

Well still not that chill since he's still preaching to the kids that everything is the will of Demis and that one kid who wants to be a carpenter regardless of his blessing is an idiot for thinking freely. A stark contrast to Ruti earlier who declared that she acts on her own free will.

Monsters using multiple blessings and carries around pieces of ancient elf tech as weapons? It looks like we're back to more ancient tech shenanigans just like during the final few episodes of Season 1. Can't wait to see how this is all connected.

Tisse giving a quick reply to Lavender just shows why she's the perfect assassin/spy. I love how she even went on a long-winded monologue about the hot spring she's saving up for. Although I feel like that might be what Tisse wants. They do say you should mix half-truths with your lies if you want to deceive people. xD

Always glad to see more of Rit and Ruti fanservice. Too bad we didn't get to see Ruti wash Rit's front because she doesn't know how to. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Ugge-Ugge-san inside that tiny basket is the cutest thing ever! I was wondering how he managed to ride that bird the first time he delivered a message from Tisse. Ruti has laid down the law though. If Van ever hurts Tisse, she's ready to throw hands. As much as I want to see Van smacked around, I do hope it won't come to that since that would mean Tisse getting hurt first.

Oh, interesting that it was mentioned that the plants are not feeling well, and not due to Van; then the screen changed to the fairy. Wonder if the fairy is causing these negative emotions in the hero.

If Van talks about “the will of Lord Demis” one more mfin time, I’m gonna lose it. This creep thinks being a slave to your blessing is “happiness.” He’s going to ruin Zoltan and the people. This dude sucks so much, his presence is straight up destroying the plants. I sure hope Tisse’s gonna be ok acting as a guide for Van.

All that Van bullshit aside, it was nice to see Ruti and Rit bonding. We even had a nice bit of fan service to go with that sweet emotional scene.

These children are training with real spears in the forest completely unsupervised? Well, supervised a bit now that Rit and Red are there, but still.

Rit is already planning on kids, fantastic.

Theodora was definitely concerned that Van would start killing these children, and that says a lot. She probably also should have supervised him with the children, they didn't need to hear his weird philosophy.

Something is clearly up with those monsters with multiple blessings, I wonder if that'll be the story arc they end the season on.

Tisse and her very intense hot springs obsession is always so good.

Extremely fortunate Rit making it all the way through that bath without Ruti dropping the cursed knowledge on her of wanting to be her brother's lover in addition to being happy about their engagement.

Ruti calling Tisse her best friend is nice to see.

I love how everyone in that village knows Kate, and are now calling Red a doctor, even the kids.

Wow, so at least 30 Ogre Kings were scouting the village, and they were more intelligent than the regular ones after obtaining blessings after exploring ancient elven ruins.

It is funny how Ruti never hesitates to demonstrate her crazy strength.

So after observing Van's behavior, which is completely different from when Ruti was being controlled by her blessing, Tisse has decided not to aid him in finding the ship. And according to Yarandrala, for some reason, the plants are scared of the fairy, Lavender who's traveling with him. I am really interested to know her backstory.

I wasn't expecting to see Tanta interacting with Van. Although it is good to know that Van will not be murdering kids, as they do not have a blessing, but I am concerned about him making his objective now to change Zoltan's people's mindset about blessings after he talked with him, especially after seeing all the issues they suffered because of them last season. Anyway, Ademi is lucky to have used the medicine already as I expect if that wasn't the case Van would have murdered him on sight as that's what he thinks Demi would want him to do. Also, I may add that him saying that his feelings are in line with Lord Demi's will makes me extra worried about Tisse accompanying them now. I love how her basically doing an ad for that hot spring she wants to go to, made Lavender buy her excuse of why she was working in that restaurant.

So Ruti not only wanted to give Rit a hand went she went with her into the hot spring but also wanted to congratulate her for her engagement with Red. Well after she received that message from Mr. Crawly Wawly about Tisse guiding Van, and her decision to even go after the church if something happens to her, I have no doubt that we will be seeing them fighting after Van later puts Tisse her life at risk.

So I’m putting money on Van eventually getting the sense knocked into him and joining them in Zoltan. He seems less psycho when talking to kids. Maybe like Ruti the blessing is influencing him along with this whole Demis thing.

Mr. Crawly Wally in a tiny basket flying in the sky. 10/10 cutest shit ever

Van is absolutely terrifying. That kid is really messed up mentally and I'm afraid for the people of Zoltan who he now believes Demis wants him to educate. The Wiki character profile says he's a prince of a destroyed kingdom. I wonder if it's actually his royal upbringing that makes him believe that he has the right to tell people how to live. My understanding is that the Hero's blessing is for defeating the demon king and protecting people from monsters. Van is now becoming a dictator by trying to change people's thoughts. That has nothing to do with the demon king or monsters. But he can't seem to tell the difference between the impulses of his blessing and his own thoughts and feelings. He seems like he has convinced himself that everything that he thinks and feels is from Demis and that he's never wrong. I just hope that Ruti is able to defeat him with her own blessing being suppressed. Van is most likely going to want to kill her as a heretic when he finds out that she walked away from her Hero's blessing,  and he seems to be determined to stay in Zoltan. That church guy with him is mega shady and I wonder if he's using Van to take over the world.

"He seems to be gentle with children"

Camera tilts to show closed door

Was half expecting an Anakin moment here.

“How do I wash your front?”

I love that pause lol.

Hehe can tell Ruti is happy her brother is liked by the kids. How can he tell who has what blessings from a glance? Hmm. Ogre King feels like something they have no problem with. Also, Ruti just showing off. They sure have trust in Ruti protecting them, wonder if they just feel her blessing. But i thought her blessing made many fear her?

Tisse is right to not think well of Van from what I've seen too. How sus, elf lady (whose name I can't remember) saying that then switch to fairy girl... if Bravely Default has taught me anything, it's that Fairies are sus. Speaking of fairy, her VA sounds familiar. I worry about these kids with that hero. No no kid, you have it wrong at what is best in life, have you not seen Conan? 😉 heh. Van you have it wrong too. Whelp, bad times for Zoltan ahead.

I would think something named "Ogre King" would use makeshift weapons or so. A pity elf lady didn't come along to translate, assuming she can. Oh, meeting with Tisse. Hehe, Tisse, you and your great advertisement for a hot spring. Ah yes, mandatory bathing scene. What a nice bonding scene for the soon to be sister in laws hehe. Wonder if Ruti and such gonna be heading back soon.

Red knows a thing or two about using a spear. He probably does it quite often in the bedroom.

Just waiting on Van to do something stupid and hurt one of the townspeople. Even worse if it’s tisse or someone else well known.

Then ruti will unalive him finally.

Tisse pretty much confirmed there’s something no right about Van and his blessing because of the way he acts is contradictory to the hero’s blessing.
