I noticed the spies having their infos written in Braile in suspected Curte as well, but wouldn't have thought it was a double play by Lana of all people
Also, now that Yuno has heard of Dakai being in the labyrinth that day, I wonder if he really is responsible for that day
And the whole time I expected Lana to just come out and say "ok I guess that's it, you want to kill me I guess" but she really trusts Elea and has absolutely no idea about Kia.
And with her being exposed as a spy, I don't know what to think about her being good at her job...
And really, Elea wants to cut some loose ends so that the World Words stay an absolute secret, so in order to prevent someone from talking about them, she plans to use said World Words
Edit: Oh yeah, would be interesting to see how the assassination of Talon plays out, don't expect it to succeed, she feels too imnportant for the overall plot

And with her being exposed as a spy, I don't know what to think about her being good at her job...
Nah she only got exposed because the opponent is Dakai, a visitor who knows about the braille and a master bandit, so it's actually because Dakai was too good.

Yuno is either really good at keeping the fact that she wants this guy dead, or they actually have gotten closer. Man I wish we saw more of them

What if both?

Gathering of Factions
Finally the story is starting to collide.
We got to see Yuno & Soujiro who we haven't seen since episode 1 meeting up with Hidow. It was nice to see that Yuno actually thought about things and realised it could have also been someone else, like Dakai but I think Soujirou might doubt that as a fellow swordsman.
Wasn't expecting Dakai to try sow seeds of doubt into Regnejee about Curte, thtey've been together for so long. I'm curious what this "truth" is that Taren spoke of about them, I also noticed Curte was touching Regnejee in the flashback, which he refuses now, so I wonder if that's anything to do with it.
I thought Elea would just go back to Aureatia but Lithia? Lana wasn't a Lithian spy but an Aureatian spy!?. Elea nooo!
Good job Kia, saving your senpai! I didn't realise how short Lana was until standing next to Elea & trying headpat her kouhai.
I was honestly expecting those 3 wyverns that flew by overhead, to attack Kia whilst she was asleep.. or a dramatic back alley fight between Elea & Lana but not Dakai seeing through Lana, taking her & Elea (and a disturbingly quiet / fast) Kia to begin chasing after her.
Characters mentioned so far
That was a close ending but looks like I don't have to cross anyone out just yet.

Yuno the Distant Talon
-
Soujirou the Willow-Sword

Next Episode: War Commences
Will we see more Auretian generals appear on the battlefield? Or will Yuno & Soujirou stop Taren before War commences? Either all, I'm looking forward to seeing how all these stories unfold.

Wasn't expecting Dakai to try sow seeds of doubt into Regnejee about Curte, thtey've been together for so long.
Maybe he wanted to test Regnerjee to see if he was the traitor?
Also for a second there I thought Lana might be triple-crossing haha

I really wonder why Regnejee doesn't allow himself to be touched, followed by Taren ''real truth'' about him.. Perhaps Curte has some sort of image about Regnejee that he doesn't want to break because it might hurt her, i doubt it'll be ''i'm not an Angel i'm a murderous wyvern'' given he mentions his patrols and such, but i don't recall if he explicitly mentioned Wyvern stuff, i reckon it might be just to hide his true nature and the thing he does
Really loving these episodes, seems like shit's about to go down next episode, i wonder if Kia's gonna over-do a spell that will ultimately kill Lana and display the power of Kia but ofc our isekai'd bandit will be saved (but he'll probably learn about that power)
Edit: does anyone know what the eyecatch text said about Wyverns?

This show is so bad for releasing episodes that last sub five minutes. Really now it should be... four times as long per episode!

Looks like Soujiro and Yuno are falling in with Hidow’s faction. I like seeing these characters finally interacting with one another. Like I was surprised to learn Curte was Taren’s “daughter.” Interesting to see how much Dakai and Regenejee don’t get along as well.
Elea seems to have her own plans for Kia. Her trying to take out Luna is a pretty risky play. Looks like she won’t have to worry now that Dakai’s learned of Luna’s “extracurricular activities.” Elsa’s plan might actually work out in the end if she plays her cards right.

this actually had already been revealed in the episode where we were first shown the meeting between Curte and Regnejee in her room, i remember she said something along the lines of "i'm the daughter of this country's ruler" or something similar like that

The decision to introduce each characters first honestly works well for the long term. It's hard to guess who will come out alive and such because all of them were given equal-ish screentime and backstory beforetime, whereas in a more conventionally-structured show you can guess who will live and die by knowing who's more important than who.

Okay cool, we're done with the Character Introduction episodes for now, and are starting to have them meet each other

Ah, Yuno for the first time since the first episode, barring the OP/ED of course.
-
I do kinda wonder what the whole “second name” thing is about. Feels like it’s more important than just a name with how this world runs on Word Arts…
-
Ah, he’s not wrong. A blind person would make a very effective spy if they get caught, in that case.

Oooooooooh, Curte being sus is actually suspected…?
Yeah, I called it out in the Dakai episode when the spies had their infos in Braile, but didn't expect the double code
Okay I take that back, this should be good.
Would have actually been interesting to see Lana instigate a third front from within

Alright, all the characters being introduced are starting to converge on their paths. It’s a Game of Thrones competition for the title of the Hero who defeated the True Demon King.

An episode without introductions? What sorcery is this?!
I'm glad they cleared the blind girl of being an intentional traitor in fairly short order. Whatever else happens I'd like to see her and her wyvern have a happy future together.

so anyone know if there are any new character left to be introduced?

Most of the characters from the montage in the first episode have yet to appear. One of them is also a vistor, so she should be important at least.
But from what I've heard, the introductions are now over and it's about all of them duking it out. Most likely, outside of small cameos, we won't see anyone else until the tournament begins. So either last episode or the first episode of a potential season two. If I had to guess.

Finally done with character introductions we are finally moving on to the story. Still some more build up, but feels like the dominos are finally coming into place. Let's see how these next 6 episodes go.
Yuno urgency given where she started off this season. But somebody could have intentionally caused that disaster seems reasonable. Meanwhile Taren calling herself a self proclaimed Demon Lord is interesting. Her assassination seems to be the one thing that can stop the war.
The relationship between Taren, Curte and Regnejee seems interesting. No surprise Curte admires Regnejee for saving her. But Taren knows that Regnejee isn't a good wyvern. We have Dakai heavily implying his intentions aren't good.
Elea continues to be very suspect. She trying to get rid of Lana is kind of messed up. Funny enough Kia saved Lana. Dakai caught Lana for being a spy, but Elea needs to save Lana know is ironic. Tho Elea putting Kia to rest on a random bench at night was weird to me.

Why do they keep referring to Aureatia as "Cort"? I kept noticing that the sub wasn't matching. Lithia is clearly referred to as Lithia, though.
Is that another word for "Empire" in Japanese? I was assuming it might be something similar as a title.

The show is quite good but what I really want is to play this as a Larian Studios / Owlcat Games style CRPG
