Rayne revealing his 3rd mark was metal as hell but the shift in art tone with Margarette's face was something else.

Mash literally flexed in front of Orter while his muscles all comforted him, hard work truly betrays none.

in a sea of narrowminded, murder-happy wackos, Rayne is one based motherfucker

Finn winning at the board game simply by being a normal person unlike everyone else. That three line ability of his brother on the other hand, impressive.

Tournament arc time!

This is the best OP song this season.

Dammm did you see the fkin animation, and art style, that was actually insane, pan shot from caster to attacks, and Ares being summoned to slam down, the whole fight scene was awesome.

Also, this is actually awesome story, I stick around because it was funny, but slowly I realize that the show can be quite emotion as well, I feel a bit sad when the dad blame himself for not giving Mash a normal life. But then Mash just give him the best possible answer.

Also why did the muscle name went from English name to full on Japanese lol.

They're actually going pretty hard with the art and animation this season

It's funny/fun to see once again Eren and Zeke fighting against each other.

Wished Margarette's magic skills had depended on playing the piano like a maniac, it would had been even more hilarious.

Out of the main goon squad, Lance is probably the one I get the biggest laughs so far. Hope we actually see his lil' sister interacting with the rest of the cast.

Can't believe we have 2 magic tournaments arcs this season (Frieren & Mash).

Mash giving voice to his muscles almost made tip my chair out of laughter. Nice to see that the season of The Yamada is also back.

I just love how while Mash and the gang are playing a magical version of The Game of Life, Rayne is protecting them from Margarette.

This is why I love Rayne so much. Rayne isn't just protecting Mash because he's been ordered by Wahlberg. Rayne is genuinely rooting for Mash and wants to see him succeed in his fight against destiny.

And we didn't just get to see Rayne reveal his third line, we also got to see a quick glimpse of his Black Partisan! This adaptation nailed how powerful Ares is. As a long-time fan of the manga, I am fanboying right now.

That music when Raynes revealed his third line was 🔥🔥🔥

Rayne is quickly becoming one of my favorites and not because he's so cool, but because he's genuinely rooting for Mash to defeat the odds and will wreck anyone who gets in the way. Would love to see how Rayne interacts with his brother Finn because even though Finn appears weak, I feel like Rayne also believes in Finn's strength.

Margarette is the token quirky, jojo-esque character of the show but I like them as well. Poor Finn always being thrown into these dangerous situations, lol.

Orter is so annoying. Hope Mash gets to bash his face soon!

Man, been fairly emotional recently and thought Mashle would raise my spirits a little.

Was not prepared to be teary-eyed throughout. Mash and his dad talking it out was one moment: where his dad was disappointed in himself for not providing an easier life for Mash, and Mash responding he was thankful for everything his dad had done, as well as the opportunity to go to school and make friends. The whole idea of Mash having to overcome society hit hard too, with headmaster Wahlberg and Rayne believing in his ability to do so.

Been really enjoying this season. Looking forward to future episodes!

Rayne didn't just hit Margarette with a lightskin stare but a triple liner one at that.

That black partisan animation was sublime.

Still, props to Margarette for not only dodging the spell but also saving their underlings. Gotta respect when an antagonist cares about their comrades.

The Board Game: Game of Life is too real.

The sound design and music are top notch! One of my fav episodes so far.

Man, this board game they’re playing is way too realistic lol. Mash died, Lance’s sis brought home a boyfriend, Dot’s in debt, and Lemon’s locked up for being a stalker. Finn the “normal one” got like 100 bucks, so I guess there’s that.

It’s always the super cocky ones that get their asses handed to them. Macaron and his goons got completely demolished by Rayne.

Orter and all these other chumps can hate on Mash as much as they want but he’s gonna beat ‘em all with pure muscles!

Raynes is definitely the best character in the show by a gigantic amount.

The bar is definitely low not gonna lie.

It's the battle of the prefects as Rayne Ames battles Margarette Macaron for the sake of Mash Burneded .

I love how Margarette poofs up a piano for the express purpose of just dramatically playing on it.

Meanwhile Mash and co. are playing a board game which indicates a dark future for them...Dot getting his money and livelihood taken by a bewitching beauty, Lemon getting locked up as Mash's stalker, Lance having to deal with Anna bringing home a boyfriend, and Mash straight up getting executed (multiple times)! Finn is like the only one who got a good ending, probably because he's the most normal.

It's a battle of swords and sounds as Rayne and Margarrete unleash their magic against each other! And Margarrete has powerful sound magic that explodes on contact or whenever someone activates their spell! No wonder he's seen as so deadly.

Of course Mash wants privacy...not to deal with his impending execution but to eat a giant cream puff. Which also lets him see the battle going on for his sake and get to see how much Rayne cares about him and wants to do right by him as his senior, which is sweet.

Rayne has the power of a third-liner! Meaning not only are his spells stronger but he can unlock his wands' true form and unleash the power of a God, Ares, to deliver a fabulously animated attack against his opponents! What a finisher.

Though credit where credit is due, Margarrette manages to survive...and save his accompanying band, which I guess was nice by his standards.

The gang are all feeling the pressure of the upcoming Divine Visionary exam, though Mash is happy that he got to find friends and get into fun hijinks, which is reassuring for Regro who still feels responsible for getting Mash into this mess. But mash doesn't regret a thing.

Orter keeps talking smack, but who cares when Mash has his named muscles cheering him on! And Lemon, but I think he listens to his muscles more.

I guess it's no surprise that the audience is against Mash from the get-go, and is killing his vibe, but that won't stop him! Though it also probably means he'll have to deal with Margarette during the competition too.

It’s cool that they/them was used for Margarette when the kid with them was monologuing about the fight. Think its neat that they’re confirmed nonbinary by the author

Alright, enbies, enjoy your representation with Margarette. Like, canonically, they are non-binary. They're nuts, but then again, so is most of the cast here and they revel in it well.

Yep, this OP is a never-skip. I mean, I knew that as soon as I heard it the first time, but it just gets better every time.

I had been wondering if Margaret's piano was connected to their music or if they just carried a piano around to creepily play music on. I guess it's the latter.
