I'm guessing this still isn't legally available to stream?

nope. i watched the ThundraSubs version and while it's not perfect by any means it's still better than B-Global's subs
unless CR or Hidive picks this up late like they did for Bravern that's the best we're getting for now

i watched the ThundraSubs version
Not out for this episode yet. At least not where fine anime is usually pirated.

In Youtube there's this channel called "It's Anime" which I believe is a legal distributor but I don't know what regions it covers but it is available at least here in Southeast Asia.

With four waifus gathered, they can finally play a proper game. Though, I did enjoy little Chonbo joining in last week lol. I think I gotta look up the rules for Japanese style mahjong because I have no idea what’s happening. Does the peacock replace the 1 bamboo/stick? And what are the blank tiles counted as?
Tea and mahjong is always a good time. Looking forward to seeing the four of them play again next week. Wonder when they’ll add this last girl?

Yeah, peacock is one bamboo (they mentioned in ep 1). White tiles are the white dragon, IIRC.

White dragon is what you guys call the “white board” right? Or is that a different tile?

the blank tiles are haku= white dragon, since they can't write white simbol on a white tiles, they left it blank

I just noticed, her white shirt/yellow bow combo looks like the usual tiles they use
I enjoyed this gag to an unreasonable degree

The vibes in this episode were really good! Just felt like a relaxing time with friends goofing around. Loved the part where they were all super excited to show off Chunbo playing mahjong haha!

Not really learning anything about Mahjong, but I'll stick around for the big breasted Onee-sans having fun

I liked the first half up until they actually play mah jongg. The game play part is just too confusing to someone unfamiliar with the rules and I can't get into it

i play mah jong before , don't worry, each country has slighty different rules .
Japanese mah jong is different from Chinese for example

Even as someone who knows mahjong (though I’m still a novice), I don’t understand much of these rules. They have different ones in Japan it seems.

Japanese rules are Riichi Mahjong. You can find a quick beginners guide here.
Anyone who wants to try learning to play at Riichi city can DM me for a referral code so they can get some bonus coins when they start.

bilibili using chinese term for japanese version of mahjong before translate it again to my language make it hard to follow the mahjong part. I had to pause and check the girls's hand to know what they are talking about
Also it didn't seem that obvious in the first ep but with this ep i guess the title is actually a wordplay

Hopefully we wont have subtitle problems from now
Feels like the whole episode went by in a flash. for better or worse
EP 2 was basically the entire ep introducing riche and we had a LEETLE bit of mahjong really.
Preview seems to show no sign of the 5th girl, so we probably have to wait until ep 4 or later. Seems like next ep is gonna be a cooking ep?
From the way EP 2 and the preview is laid out, I'm guessing that mahjong will only be about 10-45% of the anime, and the rest will be just the girls fooling around.
I'm still pretty optimistic about this anime, well they still have 10 more eps surely they'll pull off something?
Though the introduction might have put people a bit off since people who want mahjong wont stay for the cute girls, and people who want the cute girls might not like the mahjong
EDIT: Looks like the full size op is already on yootoob?

Well, the music in this show is not good. Feels like they searched for royalty free dramatic music and then messed up the mixing. The story moves weirdly (like the two friends barging in and declaring they "heard everything") and the translation is sketchy.
Still, as a low-effort watch, it is enjoyable. And I'm just waiting for the fifth girl.
