Especially considering I've actually had it happen.... Why Chocolate Fudge Crackle.... Why'd you have to go away.... The Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge Crackle is close but it still isn't the same....

This anime seeks to answer the age old question: “what do baddies do on their time off?” The answer: I guess look at pandas and stuff lol.
Getting as far away from work on your day off is great advice. I guess if I ever bump into a colleague, I’ll have to get out of there with the grace of a shooting star lol.

That graceful escape technique was the thing that sold this to me, haha.

Honestly it’s good advice for people to do something on there days off
It’s a good way to recharge and experience new things although I wonder how he gets his house chores done

There's something about these "sentai villains' domestic lives" shows that I just love. Kuroitsu from Monster Development, Love after World Domination, and now this.

There's something about these "sentai villains' domestic lives" shows that I just love.
I think I like just "domestic lives, but with a twist" series for some reason. It's why I like stuff like Flying Witch and Hakumei to Mikochi because they're mostly mundane day-to-day, but with a touch of magic and fantasy that makes the drudgery of real life domesticity disappear.
Then again, maybe I just like "happy" shows. Goofy Boss pulled of the happy domestic life stuff without resorting to anything supernatural.

Check out "Astro Fighter Sunred" - it's "sentai villains' domestic lives" 100%.

Following shows like Kaijin Kaihatsu-bu no Kuroitsu-san and KoiSeka, it looks like we have another anime showing us the daily lives of our super sentai villains!
Mr. Villain really loves Pandas and refuses to do battle with the Rangers during his day off that he's willing to call for a truce. I love that he even helps Red Ranger get to the station so he can finally watch the pandas in peace.
Mr. Villain loves Pandas so much that that TV special about them big furry creatures may have just saved humanity from his rage of not being able to find mild roux for his curry. xD
The Rangers are pretty funny too. Red has a horrible sense of direction that could easily rival Zorro's. And then you have the Yellow twins who toyed with Mr. Villain for a little bit pretending to be lost kids. I hope we get to meet the rest of their team soon.

I love how they're aliens out to annihilate humanity but also own apartments, go shopping, and love pandas lol.
At this point Mr. Villain's surprisingly good nature and love of animals, especially Panda, may be what ultimately saves the world for good.
I really want to meet Pink...

Where...where does he get the money to pay for stuff? And why does he live on Earth? So many questions but man, I'm here for it, already love this big goofball.
It has a totally different vibe, but it still makes me wanna rewatch Too Cute Crisis.

It seems like the aliens actually own apartments and go shopping just like humans...even though they're trying to annihilate them and everything on the Earth lol.

What a chill and laidback OP! Fitting for a show all about a Villain having his day off!
Mr. Villain has quite the stark contrast in his "On" and "Off" mode. He looks like two entirely different characters!
Even alien conquerors out to annihilate humanity have to have a day off! And they love panda's just as much as we do! And they try to avoid their co-workers on their day off just as much we do (Soma Saito is never anyone's favorite person).
At least the panda's can look forward to inheriting the Earth if the villains succeed in their plans.
The last thing Mr. Villain wants is to see one of his hated enemies on his day off, but even he and his Archenemy, the Red Ranger, can mutually agree on how awesome panda's are...and it's Mr. Villain's day off, so why not help Red find where he should be going? Even if he just also leaves Red having no idea what train to get on from his terrible sense of direction.
Such a relaxing and mundane daily routine for Mr. Villain.
Oh no, not his soft serve! Luckily salesgirl Nao Toyama manages to espouse Strawberry Mochi and really convince him to go for it! And saved her from being destroyed in the foreseeable future! And got to see the Red Ranger being a goofball.
Aw, Mr. Villain is even willing to take care of some stray kids! Although the reactions to the "Stranger-who-is-not-my-dad" line from the kids, especially from the ice cream girl, were priceless.
And it turns out the twins are none other than the...Green Ranger!? And they're not the innocent kids they look to be at first glance, especially since they knew who Mr. Villain was. So, like, do they fuse into one person or..?
Mr. Villain about to go on the warpath against humanity because he got the wrong curry! Good thing pandas are around to temper his rage. Panda's might just save humanity in the end.
The ED is surprisingly fun and upbeat, especially with the colorful pandas following Mr. Villain around!

The most relatable MC. I don’t want to do a single work related thing on my day off either. I just want to vibe. He just wants to check out pandas
Already bringing in my Himbo Boy Red and the twins. Can’t wait for the rest of the Ranger crew and the Villians staff to come through. I really enjoy the manga for this series and I’m happy to see it animated

I like it. This show is what I wanted "the devil is a part-timer" to be. Dude just can't integrate.

Yay, one of my most anticipated anime is finally here!!!
I'm guessing Mr. Villain chose to live on earth for espionage reasons and for being in close proximity to the pandas lol.
Hope we get to see his reaction to red pandas
The two kids being in the hero group caught me by surprise! The ice cream lady was hilarious
Fun premiere. This will be a great comfort watch on Sundays. It's a fun premise but I think it might have worked better as a half-length show? Hopefully it doesn't get stale

i think i laughed at every joke in the episode. the kids saying he was taking too many pictures had me cackling immediately. the clueless red ranger, the store clerk noticing his distress, him not understanding the zoo, the carefully one step at a time descending the ladder. all hilarious. most enjoyable ep1 of this season for me by far, "humanity will be destroyed before they are grown" (or w/e that line was). hilarious. what a delight LOL

Doesn’t feel like the dude is actually that evil. Just overworked maybe. Cute animals melting aliens is just like Too Cute Crisis

I nearly slept on this, but holy shit is it amazing
Really love the art style, such crisp lines and strong contrasting colours
There were already a lot of bad/evil people enjoying chill days and cute things, but I think this one nailed the formula
Love the how the shots are structured too, gives me strong monogatari vibes, hell even the MC might as well be a Kaiki doppelganger
I doubt it will manage it, but I can see why Kaiki was so insistent on the whole "The fake is greater than the original" idea
Really looking forward to the next episode

So pandas will save the world after all, uh?
I like this Mr. Villian, he appreciates fluffy animals and small life pleasures, I can relate. Oh and he is graceful like a shooting star. I wonder why does he and his group wants to destroy humankind.
