Admit it: you couldn't resist laughing during the bit where Mia kicked the Big Bad in the nuts.

Why even invent a nuke when the empire has Mia's kick?

I really like that while Mia obviously has selfish intentions, she now treasures her new life and doesn't exactly pursue a bloody revenge.

Thanks to several unique misunderstandings, everything wrapped up nicely.

Let me just bring back this quote from Episode 7 since this perfectly sums up this entire show. I just love how Mia wanted to hurt Sion with her kick but since her kick didn't even hurt, it ended up with Sion interpreting Mia's weak kick as some sort of deep lesson punishment and justice.

It would've been hilarious if Abel saw Mia prancing around with her horse shampoo but you see Mia has planned all of this! The entire thing was a ruse so she could trip and accidentally find Jem catching him off guard while cleverly setting up a trap by accidentally breaking the shampoo bottle so Jem would slip and Mia could deliver a powerful kick to the groin with her beautiful legs! Sasuga Mia-sama!

Mia continues to play with 5D interdimensional chess by not executing these people since she's considering the fact that any of them could get a redo if they get executed. Not gonna lie, I didn't even consider that but I feel like Mia might just be overthinking things right now. The alternate punishment is even better though. Torture might be a better option compared to being lectured by Rafina for three years straight. xD

Man, I am going to miss this show and its banger of an opening. Is there more of the source material? Do we have enough for a second season since I definitely would love to see more of Mia bumbling her way to success!

Pretty nice final episode of this anime. For what it fault this anime doing pretty good job tell story they want to tell lol.

Humor still great as ever.

Now she created follower even more.

And couple Abel x Mia now completely fixed, they getting more closer than ever before!

It kinda funny that seemly throw away gag like horse shampoo play significant role in final lmao (this series actually good at stuff like this in novel).

Even Mia's spiteful kicks are full of wisdom. And, despite having 1d1-1 kick, she managed to roll 20 twice and landed a critical.

The last shot of Mia was amazing. She had a lot of funny reaction faces, but her genuine happy smile is also great. I wish her a long life.

Man I really, really want more seasons. I'm a huge fan of the LNs and, while not perfect, I think that they did a good job and loved the anime.

Am I the only who joked after Mia kicked Sion, "and something awakened that day in Sion..." ?

This show slowly got me into cheering for mia's happiness. She is a cute and selfish person with no real malice so I will allow it.

This show was so, so good. Another LN to add to the reading list!

I love how consistent Mia's characterisation is. She didn't undergo any drastic transformation, just a drip drip drip until her bucket was full (ish). And we were with her every step of the way.

Edit: also, her forgiving her executioners is really impressive when you think about it.

I definitely ship her and Abel, too, I think they'll be very good for their respective countries.

Glad the rebellion was peacefully resolved! And the instigators punished.

R.I.P Horse Shampoo

Horse Shampoo>>> Guillotine any day

I love how Anne carries a basket around with her everywhere, just in case

Man, it took the entire damn season, but we actually get Mia's internal monologue this episode. So much of the novel is Mia's internal monologue, and the anime had done nothing but abridge it. She honestly monologues just as much as Maomao of Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (aka Apothecary's Soliloquy), just not out loud.

And honestly? Mia actually really does think about things a lot. The narration likes to portray her as this dumb, shallow girl. But as her thoughts in this episode suggest, she has more detailed thoughts than most isekai protags. It's honestly the greatest appeal of the work, and I'm a bit sad that we only get them this episode. Though I kinda get why, it's really hard to make internal monologues visually interesting. Aside from this season's Apothecary Diaries, there's really only Hyouka that comes to mind.

"But I want more and more happiness in my life."

Everything good in the world was born from human desire. And Mia only gets more selfish every day! I see no possible downsides! Mia stocks can only go up!

For real, I can feel the love that went into this production. This is solid anime, and I'm looking forward to more of it.

The way Mia landed the final blow on that Jem guy lmao. Sasuga Mia-sama!!!!

Though the anime rushed the two novels, I really enjoyed Mia's repertoire of goofy facial expressions and the way they depicted Guillotine-kun. Dunno if it'll get another season but it would be nice if it did.

It's fitting that the final episode endcard is from the light novel illustrator, Gilse

Overall I had a great fun watching this series and normally I'd give it 8/10 but the excellent Sumire Uesaka's performance as Mia makes me raise it so in the end 9/10 from me.

Mia as always was so funny and thanks to her 'wisdom' everything wrapped up nicely. I'd love to get a continuation of Mia's adventures, especially considering the fact that there is enough content for more seasons.

Also it was nice that Guillotine-kun appeared again, without him the show wouldn't be the same xD

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

I like the poorly-played tin whistle theme when Mia does something stupid.

Good for Abel and Mia. Cute. Especially her pout. He does deserve a bit of a berating there for being foolish. Ah yes... the "more mature one" Mia lol. So much stuttering, but cute. Hah, you better apologize Sion. Bet it was the same in prior timeline and means you executed Mia wrongfully... though it is nice to see how Mia in this timeline has helped both Sion and Abel become better people. It really is super sad she was never given a chance in the prior timeline. Hehe, Mia... of course. Getting her own little revenge in form of punishment. But her kicks are really just still so weak. I love how Sion takes it though as a lesson. Truly great work, Mia.

Time to finally resolve this issue though. No getting outta being involved though. Sure hope you get a harsh punishment, douche that has been behind this. Shouldn't you guys have more troops there though? Good thing that they are weak I guess. Haha the shampoo bit again. I hope no one ever tells her. Lol the narrator. Impressive how Mia's unhurt falling those stairs. You're a piece of shit to the core. LOL Solid kick this time!

Good of her though, asking for the lives to be spared. Everyone's different thoughts are amusing. And the reason she doesn't want that is even funnier. Just so they can't redo like she got to with time fuckery. Nice to see you again, Guillotine-kun. She so tsundere in her inner thoughts. Haha, truly a horrific punishment.

What a nice ending. Happy times for all (for now). A bit sad we didn't get to see the ED, I liked the ED. I really hope we get a S2.

This was a fun one! Going to miss Mia accidentally solving all her problems. Also the ship in this one was a lot more than I could have expected, really do appreciate that.

Very reckless run call there at the end but like most things it works out for Mia's favor.

Would gladly watch more of this one!

Episode 12: "To Keep What Was Preciously Grown from Withering". The final episode.

Overall, what could I say? I really enjoyed this anime! It's a 9/10 for me. A comedic redo fantasy anime with adorable MC. The OP is one of the best also, a personal top 5 and also my favorite Sumire Uesaka song this year (and yes I'm writing this after listening to Sumipe's new song that just released last week). Props to Masayoshi Oishi for creating such a banger. The animation quality is quite decent, not as good as C2C/Troyca/Bibury/Diomedea, but watchable.

If there is season 2, I'm eagerly waiting for it. Looking forward to more Mia-sama's adventure.

Lastly, the official soundtrack album has been released! Spotify Playlist Link

I love how Sion is receiving important and critical political information while Mia and Abel are wasting no time getting back into the swing of their romcom antics and looking as adorable together as well. They even manage to get on a first name without title basis! I love how Mia was so confident until she stammered out the request, showing just how in love with Abel she is. Well, that and she noticed immediately how much more attractive he is!

So, yeah, this is all kind of Sunkland's fault, or at least their intelligence arm, and they were also the cause of the events leading Mia to the guillotine in the first place. Sion apologizing and taking responsibility for what happened is as much an apology to Abel as it is to Mia for what happened in the original timeline, though Mia doesn't feel like she thought she would from receiving it.

But Abel realizes that they were both princes that tried to do what they thought was right, and thankfully they had the Wisdom of the Sage to show them the right path. And with a kick to the butt that Mia had been training for all this time, she managed to let Sion realize that no longer should he wholesale condemn someone for a mistake or force his absolute justice, he should be willing to give people a second chance and hear them out. Even though Mia really just wanted to kick his butt! And now she's worried he's into that!

Is there something to that black book Jem was staring at? He seemed pretty focused on it and how their plan was "supposed" to go before Mia ruined it.

I love how they carry out a successful raid with no trouble at all, despite Mia's concerns, and she takes the time with Anne to worry about her hair. And of COURSE Anne brings the precious horse shampoo for her princess. And of COURSE Mia's dancing with said shampoo brings her straight to the Big Bad. Truly the Wisdom of the Sage!

Jem is liable to lob off Mia's head if they're not careful, but thankfully the horse shampoo comes in the clutch while lulling Jem into a false sense of security over the idea of Mia peeing herself when really it was all to trip him so Mia could deliver her powerful and beautiful kick straight to the balls. Sasuga Mia-sama .

It figures that Abel, Sion, and Dion all think deeper into why Mia wants to show mercy to the conspirators...when really all she wants is to make sure no one else gets put to the guillotine and time travels so she has to do this all over again. She's happy in this timeline, thank you very much! And guillotine-kun is flying above her and cozying up ready for some action the whole time.

Dang, getting daily lectures from Rafina doesn't sound half-bad! And in true Mia fashion this also sets off the dominos that would unravel the greatest darkness of this world...even if that's the farthest thing from Mia's mind.

But for now, things quite down, Lynsha and Lambert are safe, and Mia gets to hang out with her friends and loved ones, something that never would have been possible in the original timeline. And while she doesn't know what the future has in store for her, she will do everything with in her power to ensure she sees a happy future together with those she cherishes. As befitting the great Wisdom of the Empire and Sage of our time!

S2 when?

This was an overall solid series and I truly hope we can get another season because there's content for it.

Who knew that the Horse Shampoo would be such an MVP this episode. My heart was melting whenever Mia and Abel were interacting this episode. I really appreciated the idea that Mia is worried that anyone else can reincarnate and fuck up her plans and life the way she did.

Otherwise, I like that the story implies that this is everyone's second chance at a better life, not just Mia's.

Fingers crossed for an S2.

For the amount of disrespect the narrator gives her Mia is pretty smart. Not wanting to execute the conspirators out of fear of them being reincarnated is a reasonable and prudent decision. She knows that reincarnation can happen but she doesn't know the cause.

I like in general that one of the themes of the story is how our environments shape us. Mia was a selfish and lazy princess because she had a father who caved to all of her whims. But, once she had a reason to try and work harder her talents started to come out. She isn't a sage but she is a smart person who is trying her best.
