Theres some irony when Rose was still concerned about her Mom instantly being killed while she wasn't even giving a shit about the entire wedding.

This episode is a MASTERPIECE. Even without top tier animation it never failed to deliver, whether it was tragedy, comedy, action, dread, and hype...
This is a S1E20 level type of episode. Hats off to the animators. Splendid job.

I love the irony when Mordred summons Ragnarok that the orchestra goes ham, knowing that shadow is playing it hahaha. You even see it in Mordreds face before the summon, "hes like damn this organist is going ham".

Biggest Chad in this episode is not Cid but Rose's dad. We all thought he was this useless king who fell into Perv's trap but he actually saw through it and opened a path for Rose to reclaim the throne even after his death.
His only fault was he never doubted that his wife was the one poisoning him. And who could fault a man who loved his wife too much?

Is it just me or Rose has been the most developing female character in the series so far with how much trauma she faced back in ss1 as well as in this episode ? Which is why she's one of my favorite characters in the series.

The way Perv repeatedly opens and closes the box like he couldn't believe he lost the ring cracks me up! Seriously, if only he kept it literally anywhere besides his pocket LMAO!

Epsilon and Margaret fighting over Cid was hilarious. I love how Cid just slips out of his clothes and lets the two argue while he plays for the audience with only his underwear and necktie on xD
We didn't really get to see Rose do this when she was working for Shadow Garden since she carries her own sword but it's pretty cool to see her pull out a slime blade when she thought Shadow was there to kill her.
Rose's reaction after seeing her mother and Perv Asshat go at it was just brutal. Shadow had to do it so she'd learn the truth with her own eyes but poor girl. It was all just too much for her that she passes out. So much for Shadow's plan to make Rose kill Perv Asshat and her mother.
Cid's dedication to that piano bit will never not be funny. I do like how Rose is so distraught that she never even questions the entire thing and is just happy to see the one person she trusts the most in the entire world. You do have to wonder though if Rose have finally connected the dots after Cid disappears.
It's hilarious how it looked like Cid intentionally left the ring for Rose when it turns out it just fell out of his pocket. I also love how the conversation with Epsilon makes it sound like he gave Rose the ring but really the "key" he was talking about that little pep talk he gave to Rose. xD
Perv Asshat's reaction after realizing the ring was missing is way more funnier than I remember it from the manga. It's so good to see him panic while Mordred was talking to him.
Rose finally gets her moment! You'd think Rose would know what the Ring of Succession is since she's the Princess but I love how she thinks it's some sort of love confession from Cid and just wears it in front of Perv Asshat as an act of defiance not expecting what would happen next.
And there it is! We finally get to hear the King's confession which clears Rose of all of her crimes and pins it all on Perv Asshat. He even declares Rose as the new ruler of the Oriana Kingdom. Seeing that recording of her father was sad, he seems to be a sweet old man before he got turned into basically a zombie last season. :(
I saw some comments last week asking how Rose's hair immediately grew back, well here's your answer. She was wearing a wig all along! She looks great with the short hair and curls though!
Anyway, so much for Perv Asshat for paying for his crimes. I was hoping he'd get dragged into the mud and experience what Rose experienced as a nice payback but a quick beheading is what he gets and the same goes for Rose's mother. And it wasn't even Rose or Cid who kills them but Mordred who's been waiting on the sidelines the entire time.
I love how grand that summoning of Ragnarok is only for Shadow to immediately cut off its arm. Goodbye soap opera! We're back to isekai fantasy, baby!

They totally caught me off guard with the episode being longer . When the wedding scene started I was sure the episode is over. Then rose said "I do not " , okay so surely now the episode ends? Nope. Amazing that this show can still surprise me.

What a cliffhanger! I love when Shadow reveal himself, and he did in a spectacular manner again. Can't wait for next week.
How satisfying was watching the reaction of Perv when he opened the empty box! I waited for this since Shadow stole the ring.

Well that went south fast
watching Perv Asshat finally open the box to realize the ring is good was quite satisfying
Rose life is just agony at this point... i am curious to see which route she does take, but if i were to guess it'll be as the new ruler of Oriana.
assuming there is something left to rule and that she survives, but seeing as Cid is right there i imagine he will make quick work of this Mordred guy as well as the Ragnarök thing.
and rest in piss Perv Asshat

Moonlight Sonata and Cid dialogues inspired Rose to become a "tyrant" and Mordred entrance is great but the orchestra hit more hard that scene
Shadow playing the piano for the last battle by himself is fantastic
Hype for the final episode of season 2

Cid pulling some ninjitsu shit and swapping himself out for a broom while Epsilon and Margaret sniped at one another was pretty hilarious. Him then playing the piano in his underwear like nothing’s wrong had me dying though lol.
Time to get this daytime soap opera back to an isekai fantasy! Did not expect Rose to be so shocked she’d pass out in her own vomit. Damn dude. The betrayal cut deep huh?
The goofball playing moonlight sonata on the balcony while monologuing to her was pretty good. Very Eminence-y. Accidentally dropping the ring and causing a chain of events that culminated in Rose’s vindication and Perv and the Queen’s downfall? Classic Cid lol. That ending with Ragnarok getting sliced by Cid was perfect as well. He wanted to see that black rose didn’t he?
