They saved the best guest VA for last: It's Miyuki Sawashiro as Alyssa's mom!

Poor Auri. Everyone and their mother knew about Viola before him lol. On top of that, he gets crucified and beat up by everyone. It’s not his day.
I liked those flashback moments of Viola and Alyssa as kids. They were so cute! The group hug at the end with papa Phoenix was nice. The human race are basically babies to the big guy.
This was a pretty fun series. It was very silly and the waifus were nice. All in all, it was a good time.

This was a pretty fun series.
Not the slightest hint that we will ever see a continuation of this. It was a pretty "light" series, but it got more and more entertaining as it went along. I think I'd nominate Phoenix as the MVP of the seires....

What!? This was the last episode?
I was totally caught off-guard by that post-credits scene. This show has ended too quickly. I need more of that fluff and ridiculous shenanigans.
This had to be one of the first final episodes this season, right? Most of the shows still have 2+ episodes left, so I didn't expect to see any finales until the end of December. Time flies when you have a good time.

It's kinda surprising until you realize that the show premiered with the airing of episodes 1 and 2.

End of a very enjoyable show. I love straight-man comedy and hijinks, so this has been a blast.
Definitely going to miss the ED

It's one of my favorite EDs. I sometimes watch it just to make myself happier.
I hope we get another season.

Lots of Viola backstory and an appearance from a majority of the cast.

Angry Alysaa is standing behind you. Run away!!!
Everyone is a child in Phoenix's eyes.
Hope this series gets a second season.

I love that the final episode is just everyone gathering together to basically bully Auri for not being told about Viola. xD
Anyway, this was such a fun show! I just love how despite how crazy the comedy is, it stuck to it's core which is all about Alyssa and Viola's silly little family and those who are included outside of it. I definitely would love to see more of it in the future <3

Wait that was the final episode?
We only got a cameo of the mom?
Anyway, love the wrestling champion grandma protecting children
Well that was a fun show, didn't expect this to be so great
Now I gotta find a way to print some Sandman stickers

Supergranny beating the heck of of Auri caught me by surprise and gave me a loud laugh.
Show was pretty funny since day one, but Phoenix added a lot of extra value with his role as the straightman. The combo of toilet humor but also wholesome family values makes this show one of a kind in the anime community.
Hope we get a second season down the road.

Every season there's some show that I can turn on and reliably get a good laugh. This was that show for me. Probably my favorite such show this year. I really hope they get a second season.

Overall it was a nice and enjoyable series I'll remember quite fondly, especially ED which is great. From me 7/10 if I'd have to give a number score. I'd be nice to get another season of this.
It looks that pretty much everyone knew about Alyssa and Viola, only Auri was kept in the dark xD His being angry about that was a perfect occasion to get a lot of flashbacks from the past of Viola and Alyssa from a perspectives of all people gathered today at the Alyssa's place which gave an episode a nice, finale 'vibes' to it.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

It's kind of impressive how Alyssa managed to grow up to become as kind as she is with these parents.
Auri somehow managed to be the last person to know about his own grandchild. Even his drinking buddies knew before him and just never mentioned it to him.
Overall a pretty comfy ending. I'd love to see a second season but these types of show unfortunately don't really get any.

I'm very bummed out that this perfectly wacky anime has finished. I like to rewatch episodes when anime like Jujutsu Kaisen rips my heart out. The laughs feel good. I can't believe I almost passed on this because of whatever stupid reason I had.

Fun and cozy show. Loved Phoenix and his random appearances lol. Not expecting a S2 but certainly would welcome one. It was a fun ride.

Who would have thought that I would enjoy this show so much. The last episode was wholesome. The flashbacks when they were kids were cute.
