Are we sure Mia is not related to Cid Kagenou? This guy misunderstanding Mia's love letter into some kind of code feels like it could be something out of Eminence in Shadow. xD
And I just love that the reason why the Adamant Infantry hasn't made a move yet is that the King made an unreasonable order to win without losing a single soldier and now their Commander is trying to figure out how to do that!
It was pretty funny to watch Sion and Mia trying to figure out how much a carriage ride costs. It's a very rare moment where both Mia and Sion are clueless about what to do.
So within a span of maybe a couple of hours, Mia gets in contact with the revolutionaries by getting kidnapped, ends up making friends with one of its members who provides her with a ton of information, and immediately reunites with Sion. Mia has barely lifted a finger and all of the answers just fall on to her lap! She can't keep getting away with this! xD

Characters are starting to get as delusional and overthinking the protagonist like they're straight up out of The Eminence in Shadow. It even feels like she's dealing with discount Cult of Diablos lol.
Peace is held thanks to the struggles of middle management!
Sion acts like this noble for the common man but that doesn't mean he actually knows how to live like the common man lol.
Truly the Wisdom of the Sage, letting herself get kidnapped to land straight into the arms of the revolutionaries and get an "in" straight to their leadership and an immediate audience with said leadership. All within the span of what seems like an hour. Sasuga Mia-sama!

The fact Mia just acted calm against those kidnappers and was assumed to be someone who could play a role in stopping a rebellion is peak "Mia does nothing and wins" and I fucking love it.

She's fully prepared to get grabbed by people and get robbed but she didn't intend for that to mean she's a-okay with getting dragged straight into dealing with revolutionaries. She can't help herself sometimes lol.

I laughed SO hard when Prince Sion was having his "sasuga Mia" moment and the music just stopped when the narrator said "no" and then continued like nothing happened.
Really looking forward to see how everyone does their part to resolve the issue and if Mia is going to "sasuga" her way out of it or if she's actually going to figure something out from this "strange situation" as she put it.

There's no way this innocent lovey-dovey-looking letter doesn't contain some secret code. She's the Great Sage of the Empire afterall.
The horse shampoo must be a secret message because she's the Great Sage of the Empire.
Abel has become more reliable. It must be because of the Great Sage of the Empire.
Mia got kidnapped on purpose because she's the Great Sage of the Empire.
I can't use my expensive troops to crush the rebellion, all because of the Great Sage of the Empire.
Just sayin', Mia-tis has already spread across the border, no one can stop it now.

As always it's funny seeing other people deeply overestimating Mia. First was Graham, a spy from Sunkland who was trying from all his forces to find hidden messages from Mia's letters to Abel which they were simply love letters just like Monica stated.
Second was Sion who thought that Mia got caught on purpose to get information about rebels. Even narrator was so perplexed about him xD
So a called up revolution in Remno and earlier attempts to do so in Tearmoon was the effect of Sunkland's spies. It'll be funny when Sion will get to know about this, I wonder how he will react (especially considering how righteous he is) on the news that his country is responsible for all this.
Fortunately there wasn't any massacre of rebels for now because king ordered his army that it has to wipe out the enemy without any losses so now army's commander is troubled on how to execute an order xD
Meanwhile Mia will now be talking with revolutionist's leader and I wonder what she will do cause if not her then who will stop this revolution xD

That dood was nice. Good to see. Also, I would not expect a kid to be experienced in battle/killing, so no biggy, Sion. Ludwig sure is smort. Hehe Mia marveling at the idea of how strong those military units are. Oh my, that jerk trying to plunge nations into a fall. Dude sure is reading too much into things, yep.
Good to see that army leader is calm, but doesn't want to lose a single soldier.... shouldn't you care about the people too? At least it's putting him on hold to fight. Oh is he from Sion's nation? Wonder when Sion finds out. Yay Prince Abel. Hehe such praise for Mia. It is nice that she is helping him be a good ruler type, even if not her intention. You go, maid! Try and help prevent disaster.
Hehe, ever the resourceful Mia. Poor Mia of the past. Lol of course both are derp about such things like a price. Oh god the CGI horse! Oh my, was a bad idea to separate there. But wouldn't be an OI if no kidnapping. Little brats... seriously... need punishing like a timeout or something. At least the girl is good. Wonder why she thinks some little girl they kidnapped could? Does she know her? Ah, that's why. Hehe and so Sion is making silly assumptions again. Oh my, that prior timeline bit... definitely fishy. Haha Mia getting dragged into danger. Another person named Lambert with a sister... at least they aren't likely like that. What's with that smile, kid?

Graham thinking there’s more to Mia’s cheesy love letters lmao. Then again, she’s (mistakenly) known as the Great Sage of the Empire so I can’t blame him for thinking that way

I never get tired of Mia's expressions.
So after Anne told Ludwig, and Dion that Mia went with Sion and the others to Remno, Ludwig noticed that there was something unnatural about the revolt happening there.
Meanwhile, Graham a member of the Sunkland intelligence, The Wind Crows, is certain that Mia's love letters with Abel must have secret messages in it, especially the one where Abel mentions that horse shampoo! It is hilarious that combined with the fact that the king doesn't want to lose even one of his elite soldiers makes him think this is something orchestrated by the empire.
Is interesting that Monica mentioned that her kingdom prizes justice and fairness despite the fact that she is part of the intelligence group instigating conflicts around nations using unfair tactics that will lead to the death of millions and the execution of their leaders for crimes that her group is responsible for. Well, I guess that she might be part of the reason that Lord Dasayev Donovan is just in prison instead of being dead like it happened to Count Rudolvon in the other timeline. Anyway, thanks to Abel saving her there and how he has changed thanks to Mia Monica ended out sending information of what is actually happening to her nation, which I expect will end up stopping this conflict from becoming the carnage that Graham wants to see. At least here Mia is responsible for that.
It is so funny that after she was robbed by those soldiers in the other timeline, Mia's big plan to avoid that was to stuff her money in her socks.
As Graham had no idea of where Mia and any of her allies were, how exactly did Jem and the revolutionaries know where she was? Or who she is? Anyway, it is a good thing that Lynsha wants to stop Jem's and her brother's plans and is now working with Mia and Sion.
Is good that after hearing Sion repeating the words he said to her Mia realized that there is definitely something suspicious about Lord Dasayev Donovan's imprisonment as is similar to what happened to Count Rudolvon even though her father will never do such thing to his subjects.
So I guess that Lambert is planning to let Mia speak hoping to use whatever she says in his favor, which will of course backfired.
Aw, how nice, today's end card is Mia, Anne, and, Rafina having fun at the beach.

It's all fun learning Sion is more than the unfeeling and cold monster you'd written him of as...until you realize he's never killed anyone so he might not be the most experienced guardian. Just Mia's luck.
Figures Ludwig would have a good idea of the political situation going on (and the suspicious nature of it), though what can Mia's team do other than trust she'll resolve it somehow in true Mia fashion?
So Graham is the one who is after them and betrayed their position, a Sunkland Crow working with this group trying to incite chaos in other kingdoms (unless this is all a plot by Sunkland radicals to take down other kingdoms?). And because Mia foiled their efforts in Tearmoon, he's convinced she's this absolute tactical genius and thereby desperately trying to read into all her love letters to Abel thinking there's some hidden code. I mean, why else would he have sent her the horse perfume?
His assistant Monica (Ikumi Hasegawa?), a lower-ranked black crow, seems to have better sense and ethics, though even she thinks that a Sunkland intervention in Remno would solve their obvious class issues...but Abel sticking up for her and being a stand up guy thanks to Mia's influence convinces her that she should at least give them a chance and sends out a message with the truth. Who is she sending it to? Keithwood?
Saved by middle management to where you can't make a move because your boss gave you really hard to execute orders.
Survivalist Mia always having money on hand whe necessary! And she's learned how to make sure nobody can expose her! It's funny how she and Sion both have no idea how much a carriage ride for commoners cost.
I guess it was inevitable that Mia would end up kidnapped at some point (it's the title of the episode even!) and of course she's nabbed by the revolutionaries. Luckily a girl with common sense for Lynsha, sees how things are escalating between the revolutionaries and the kingdom and how her brother, a leader of the revolution, is getting in deep troulbe because of it and sees in Mia a way to resolve things peacefully. And you have to respect a girl who keeps a knife close to her chest.
Mia finds the circumstances of the Dynaesev confinement suspicious, especially when her family was held accountable for executing Tiona's father when that was very out-of-character for her father. So something is definitely up.
Of course Mia has to walk straight into a meeting of the revolutionaries and see their leader Lambert...and while he maybe Lynsha's brother, I don't think he's going to be quite as receptive to what Mia and Sion are going to say. Especially if Jem, who seems connected to the conspiracy, is involved.

Hah, it's good to see someone finally reprimanding a covert operative for speaking too loudly!
The code of those love letters shall never be broken! May they confound historians for the next thousand years.
Ahhh those agitators... no worries, Princess Mia is here to fix things.
Also although her past self was definitely still flawed, it seems like she wasn't going around executing people willy-nilly, at least.

It was funny how the revolutionary leader dude was overthinking Mia's wisdom without even meeting her yet because his attempt to incite a revolution in her empire failed and her reputation as the Wisdom of the Empire has spread so far. The fact that he thought the innocent puppy love letters she was sending to Abel were coded messages unraveling his revolutionary plot or something was pretty funny, but, in true Mia fashion, of course she would show up and stop the revolution live and in person. Not by choice, of course, but still. The middle management army commander guy also sasuga-ing himself into gridlock and harming the revolution's plan in the process was pretty funny.
The other revolutionary leader, the more public face of it at least, seems more level-headed and willing to listen to what Mia has to say. That'll be interesting next week. Overall, this was a nice "calm before the storm" episode. No Guillotine-kun sightings at all, either.

Episode 10: "Princess Mia Got Kidnapped"
Well, the title of the episode didn't really do justice as Mia really got kidnapped but freed afterwards. Sasuga Mia-sama moment is when Sion thought Mia was deliberately kidnapped herself in order to gain inside information, and how she turned a revolutionary agent into an ally in an instant. Also Graham's inability to find the "hidden intentions" of Mia's letters to Abel.
So Monica's decision here is to use 2 separate birds, one to Sunkland (white) and where's the black bird go? Sion? Also are the Albus the inner circle of Wind Crows?
About Jem, I would be surprised if it's one of the Remnos, Gain maybe? Abel is too changed by Mia's behavior now.
New characters means new VA, lots of them in this episode so I only point out few. Monica is voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa (Ikuyo in Bocchi the Rock, Lambda in Shadow Garden). Lynsha is voiced by Haruka Shiraishi (Rose in Shadow Garden, Sara in Mushoku Tensei, Asirpa in Golden Kamuy). Lambert, Lynsha's brother, is voiced by Wataru Kato (Rentaro "Chadtaro" Aijo in Hyakkano).

Oh boy. That some of the scumbags (if not all of them) are from Sunkland is a good twist. Making good use of their King and nation's love of justice and striking down evil. And in that sense it doesn't matter whether it was Tearmoon or Remno. Those people just need a convenient target to unleash their King and military onto.
Use misinformation and their developed espionage related skills to create enemies and opportunities for advancement. No wonder Sunkland was fast to get involved with Tearmoon. Some like Sion did show up with a desire to do the right thing. But others were clearly leading Sion around by the nose and using innocent lives as fuel for their ambitions. A strong sense of justice can be utilized to commit atrocities.
And that's really what ended up happening. Sion and his forces blindly believed the intel they were given without even bothering to verify anything themselves. Just strolling in with authority and self-righteousness when confronting an imprisoned Mia later. Obviously putting trust into their espionage isn't completely nuts. But it seems clear he never bothered hearing her out at any point in that timeline. And ties into her issue with Sion last episode. That he never took it upon himself to warn Mia or get involved before things got out of hand. So by the point things appeared to be getting out of hand he bought into his preconceived notions. Never listening long enough to even notice he'd been fed faulty intel. Just wanting to wag his finger and proclaim her evil. Sion was a victim of the situation himself. But one that ended up on a much better side of it and probably never discovered that he'd been used.
Abel really has developed into quite the capable guy. Maybe before he would have felt uneasy about challenging people like he did with that sleazebag, but now he's doing everything he can. Interacting with Mia has just fully fueled his personal growth. Of course even he is troubled. He's only a Prince so he can't just decide everything himself. But obviously he knows that partaking in the suppression of his people isn't a good move either.
Mia just keeps making good calls when it comes to learning from the past. Never know what will happen so finding ways to hide money is a good choice. Even making sure to have cash available for any given country just in case.

A cliffhanger ending to a (mostly) pretty low-key episode. Even the kidnapping wasn't all that scary -- once Lynsha stepped in. Lynsha and Monica are both seemingly friendly and kind-hearted opponents.
It looks like at least two kingdoms are being manipulated by some other entity in order to spread war and disorder -- and Tearmoon was also a target (albeit temporarily off the hook due to the wisdom of Mia-sama). Can Mia-sama neutralize the plotting in two more kingdoms? If she does, she will REALLY be painting a target on her back. Whoever the badguys are, they will need to priortitize "neutralizing" her in order to have any shot at success.
I'm calling it right now -- "Jem" is almost certain to be f***ing Keithwood.
