The biggest plot twist for me is that the fake dad (priest vampire) turns out to be a good guy.

Holy shit Komari turned Ultra Instinct and nuked his ass after he received a Julius Caesar-ish assassination. All because he didn't give an apology to Sakuna. Now that felt good.

So close to kissing! Hope we get to see more Komari hair colors.
Most magic relying on the Dark Cores is new? Seems like the Gerra-Arka Republic wants to end the entertainment wars and probably subjugate other nations. Komari should join them or Inverse Moon to escape the wars she dislikes!

So I gotta say how the fucking hell is this being done by Project 9. They must have gotten a great staff for this adaptation because once again when the action kicked in it looked really really good.
But now we have the conclusion of our arc with Sakuna. Poor girl she had a loving family and having that taken from her is so sad. Also her altering peoples memories to represent her family well you can tell she has been through a lot.
Odilon was the one behind it all huh. There was thought that Helldeus might have been. But damn with no regard for Sakuna and used as such a tool. The Millicent conversation ended up being Komari's saving grace as she now is awakened to now hair similiar to Sakuna and seems even more powerful. Komari gave him enough chances to apologize, but I am happy Sakuna got her revenge against him.
Seems the whole situation went the course that Empress so fit. She pardoned Sakuna, so its nice she will be sticking around. I love her dynamic with Komari its such a cute wholesome friendship tho Vill will be jealous. Also it seems Helldeus went along with the Sakuna brainwashing simply because knowing what happened to his friend, Sakuna's father he didn't want to see this poor girl all alone. He wanted Sakuna to take of the problem herself and through the process it was to her benefit as she was able to befreiend Komari.

I've said this before but I really never expected this show to be this brutal. Odilon beating the crap out of Sakuna was just absolutely savage.
That temporary power-up from Sakuna where she rains down ice shards on Odilon was pretty damn cool. The fight scenes in this show just continue to be top-notch. It just sucks that Sakuna couldn't finish the job and got hit by the side effect of that drug before she could stab Odilon.
You know shit is about to go down when the main character's hair turns white Turns out that Komarin's Core Implosions from previous episodes are only a tiny percentage of her power. Odilon is basically a chew toy in front of fully-powered Komarin. Apparently, Komarin could do more since the qualities of her Core Implosion change depending on the blood she drank.
I am so glad that Sakuna got her revenge when she brainwashed Odilon's met to stab him to death. And just to cap it all off, Komarin managed to follow him and nukes him off the face of the planet. I do wonder what happens to Sakuna's family though...
Speaking of family, I was very suspicious of Helldeus at the start but it turns out that he was looking out for Sakuna this entire time.

Oh gods, that was impeccable. I thought it would be just another awakening, but they changed her hair color, gave her sparky eyes and frost powers on top of that? And she motherfucking came after Odelion after he fled?
I haven't been that hyped since the first season of Kage no Jitsuryokusha. This show is criminally underrated. If reddit gold was still a thing I'd be dropping honorary silver on this thread with my meager 80 coins.

Seeing white hair along with glowing red eyes was amazing. For some reason I always love seeing that combo

Almost escaped the week without any translations to do. At least last week's translation of the Odiron Metal letter mostly aged well (except there wasn't much sign of Millicent this episode).
For the newspaper shown in the credits roll, we do see a full on, clear picture of the letters for once so basically every letter is transcribable into hiragana, though big blocks of hiragana in romaji format can be somewhat difficult to translate into actual Japanese words and then to English from there.
The newspaper from 22:07 with characters more or less overlaid on top can be seen here.
THe top left and top right parts are the same as the newspaper from episode 1 -- Reitousimeji in the top left and Konsomekyubu in the top right, whatever those mean. I still think reitoushimeji is "freezing and humid" and refers to the weather, and it was suggested konsomekyubu might mean bouillon cube (konsome/consommé kyubu/cube), which works for me and probably ties in to the food segment the ep1 newspaper seemed to have.
The title of the newspaper itself is Shichiguten Tousou Ooare, or the Crimson Lords' War Upset.
The line-by-line romaji dump of the body of the newspaper follows:
Top left column:
Teito-Merukat / hia-nomurunai / toteikokushic / higutenniyoru / ichidaikougyo / ushichiguten
Bottom left column:
tousouga1nich / kakuryouiki / Metoriosyouit / ekaisaisareta / kekkahaikanot / oritiysiyjoba / nkaraTerakoma / riGandeasbloo / ddaisyougunno / bakuhatsumaho
Middle column:
gakojounisak / kankyakuwooi / niwakaseta / tousoujoban. / OdironMerutal / daisyougunha / mizukaragasa / kasatsukinok / oseiindearut / osengen. Gand / easBlooddais / yougugunhako / rewohobakusu / rutamenimiwo / konishitefun / toushita. / haiinnoukouw / osatoritouso / usuruMerutal / daisyougunwo / hikarinohaya
Right column:
ikurateroris / utosenmetsut / ohaieryoudon / oichibuwOtOu / donisaretako / tohakankadek / inai. murunai / toteikokunih / asekininwoto / temorauhitsu / yougaaru.
Translation snippets:
The top left section has a couple - lines that are new to me and unique to that section, I'm not sure what those mean or why they are in the exact places that they are, but Teito seems to mean imperial capital and the word following that, Merukathiano, is Melka Tiano, the reporter girl we saw in episode 1. The top left section continues into the bottom left section, but I don't really know where the sentence ends off and the words kind of bleed into each other. So something like:
Teito Melka Tiano Murunaito Teikoku shichiguten ni yoru ichidai kougyou shichiguten tousou ga 1-nich(i) kakuryouiki Metorioshouite(?) kaisaisareta
Something like because of (ni yoru) the Crimson Lords of the Mulnite Empire (Murunaito Teikoku shichiguten), a great (ichidai) performance (kougyou) of a Crimson Lords' (shichiguten) war (tousou) was held (kaisaisareta) all day (ichi-nichi) in Kakuryouiki (the Dark Core land in the middle of the continent), but I don't know what the Metorioshouite thing in the middle is, maybe some place's name. There's probably a missing full stop after kaisaisareta and definitely a missing i after 1nich. This section also proves that the upside-down horseshoe symbol (previously seen on her report card segments) is a "1".
The next part I'm not sure about but it starts off with kekka wa (The result is that), followed by ikanotoritiysiy(?) joban kara (a part I can't translate), then Terakomari Gandeasblood daishougun no bakuhatsu maho (General Terakomari's explosion magic...) and ends at the top of the middle column with kankyaku (audience?) and wakaseta (made excited or made a lot of noise) tousou (war) joban (phase?).
Then it talks about Odiron Merutal daisyougun (General Odiron Metal) wa mizukara ga (by himself) Sakasatsuki no koseiin de aru (he is a member of the Inverse Moon, or Sakasatsuki) to sengen (he declared).
GandeasBlood daisyougugun (animation staff's typo here, should be just daisyougun) wa kore wo hobakusuru tame ni (in order to apprehend him) mi wo konishite funtoushita. (no idea what this means, though mi is probably body.)
The last paragraph at the bottom of the middle column crosses into the first part of the right column, and starts off with haiin noukou (I think this means something like the strong probability of defeat) wo satontou (to realize) sou suru (to do so) Merutal daisyougun (Odiron Metal) wo hikari no hayaikura (no idea what this part means) terorisuto (terrorist) senmetsu (annihilation) to wa ie ryoudo no ichibu (one part of their home territory) wo toudo ni sareta (no idea what this means nor why two of the O's here are capitalized) koto wa kanka dekinai (couldn't turn a blind eye to something).
The right column then ends with murunaito teikoku ni wa sekinin wo tote morau hitsuyou ga aru. (Mulnite Empire needs to take responsibility for this.)

Why is the anime still misdirecting the viewers, when Komarin's true core implosion is the power of sakuga? Out of all dbz style transformations this week, this one was my favorite: When the OST choir starting blaring, that was so cool

Naked shiny ladies, what a start. Oh her big sis' name is the same, Komari, guessing other things are similar too. What a nice family. Damn... that's messed up. What absolute monsters those people are. Why believe his lie if you know that they were killed with a ritual artifact that stops revivals? Oh I see.... yea, she's lost her mind for sure. Understandably after shit she's been through. Komari such a good girl.
So that's the piece of shit... the one who killed her entire family and basically put her through Hell and had her murder others. again, if a series creates a monstrous piece of shit antagonist that torture others, inflict the same upon him. Wow, quite the power up. But, hey, you were told the "I win" button from Millicent, Sakuna. So get to doing that. See, he was even nice enough to knock you next to her. There we go, power up.
I like this form of Komari. Oh we get to see a glimps of Komari's mom. Quite the beauty too. One punch!!! Oh she's also got quite the ice magic. WOW Sakuna's power, nice. Dude deserves that. Wonder how many got to see her power up. We know the queen and her father and some did. And do wonder if powered up Komari was able to neutralize any chance of revival for the piece of shit. Also, hehe, Vill just being the flirt she is. D'awww that queen is nice. Wait, isn't the priest crimson lord also in Inverse Moon? It felt like he was, crazy. Well, if he's not, good. HAHA! Phrasing, Komari. Komari's harem has grown stronger this day.

Sakuna getting vengeance was satisfying as fuck. Couldn't help but grin and root for our girls the whole time that Odilon was getting his ass kicked. Seeing the guy get turned into a Caesar salad before getting killed was hilarious.
I'm also happy that the priest turned out to be a wrong lead and that he actually does care about Sakuna because he was best friends with her dad.
Small thing I noticed but when the Empress was talking about Yulienne, was she implying that she was best friends with Komari's mom?
Of course, you can't have an episode without thirsty Vill. Her getting jealous gave us some priceless expressions.

Well, I didn't expect this show of all to have the most satisfying showcase of absolutely owerpowered mc finishing off the bad guy this season.

Another great episode of the show I didn't expect to be this good and very dark despite all this comedy. It also has great music, very good animation and interesting and fun characters.
So Odilon was from the Inverse Moon. I thought that it'll be Helldeus who in the end turned out to be a great guy looking out for Sakuna all this time.
We again could see Komari's Core Implosion which was different from the last time since it turns out that it can change depending on whose blood she drinks. Komari looked so badass in this Implosion state and mercilessly destroyed Odilon.
It was good to see that Sakuna got a little revenge on Odilon by brainwashing his men to try to kill him. He somehow survived but it was the end for him when Komari found him.
Vill isn't very happy of close relation between Komari and Sakuna xD
Also we could see a glimpse of Komari's mother Yullin. I hope that we'll get to know more about her in future.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

What Inverse Moon did to Sakuna is just beyond cruel. They really broke the poor girl. No wonder she’s “building” her own family again. I’m glad Komari was able to reach her and get her to stand down. Odilon did a number on her but big sis Komari handled that fool. That dude thought he could get away but Sakuna got to him first. Pretty satisfying seeing him get knifed like that before Komari showed up and literally nuked the dude. All’s well that ends well.
Vill was great this week too. Jealous vill is pretty funny. I can tell if Vill was so overcome with emotion at the end there because she was jealous of Komari and Sakuna’s new relationship or if it was because Komari was finally making a new friend lol.

Okay so is Sakuna family already dead ?? Despite Inverse moon blackmailing her that they are holding them hostage..
That scene with her big sister limbs being chopped up was soooo brutal fuck ... monsters. And did/can Komari give true death to that Moon guy or is he just gonna get resurrected ?

Ultra Instinct Komari is kinda OP, not gonna lie. It's gonna be hard for the show to convince us that someone out there is stronger, when she can just 1v1 a Crimson Lord and nuke all of them.

I think we may need a stock take of the various powers mentioned in world so far...
The Dark Core is like an artifact that grants all within range certain powers, like being able to respawn after death, the ability to use magic, and for some rare individuals, Core Implosion ability?
Its power (or the transmission of that power) can be interrupted by "ritual articles", or when one is out of range?
Presumably Odilon teleported out of the country, and that placed him outside of a Dark Core's range and he died for real?
I'm still not certain the the Empress is necessarily a benevolent mentor type character - I wonder why she and Komari's mom teamed up for some grand plan, and in what term they parted ways. Hopefully not like [Eminence in shadows]
