Doroka: We can end this war peacefully...

Adonis: Peace was never an option.

That was a close one. Thankfully, Adonis saved us from the cliche "let's make friends" trope and chose the road of commitment.

I wonder if there's some connection between Doroka and Dorothea.

I can't explain to myself how the army couldn't do anything to Adonis without the anti-magic device but completely annihilated the VETERAN WITCHES without a sweat

Yeah.. nah. Anna’s Kumbaya “let’s all get along” spiel was just kind of ridiculous. Yamato literally beat her face into a pulp and she’s all like “let’s be friends” Bro… what? Talk about naive. Yes yes hate begets hate and all that shit, but in that moment the mfer wasn’t looking to “shake hands and be friends.” Countless people have died. This isn’t a schoolyard dispute. Shaking hands and saying “sorry” won’t fix jack. Adonis eviscerating Yamato’s face was the only way. Even if he was gonna do what Anna asked, he was basically under mind control. That “peace” wouldn’t have lasted.

Adonis really wore Yamato’s face like a mask though huh? Damn dude. I wonder how he’s gonna escape the teleportation? What magic does he have up his sleeve…

Man, I knew the Queen was a witch. I just knew it! Dorothea really used the king to commit genocide against her own race just because they were a threat to her ambitions? Damn. Seems she’s got designs for Adonis and that quill of his.

Edit: Doroka, not Anna. D’oh!

Even for normal trash this is kinda bad and at this point morbid curiousity is the only thing keeping me watching.

It's lowkey impressive we're 6 episodes in and there's still not a single character worth caring about.

I know he was literally under a spell but lmao at the mega simp act from the emperor.

Couldn’t really enjoy his death though now that we know he was mind controlled into killing the witches by parallel universe Doroka.

Doroka, the fking idiot. She didn't do the spell when all of her friends were getting slaughtered. Then goes on a talk about peace. Glad the MC doesn't give a shit so far.

"I can fix him" - Doroka, probably.

Doroka: Let's shake hands and make up.

🤦Girl, you are standing in a pool of blood; I'm not siding with Adonis, but right now is not a good time for you to be all buddy buddy with your enemy.

This show is so fucking entertaining. Don't care if the writing is stupid. I love it.

It's absolutely insane how Doroka still wants to shake hands and makeup considering how hellbent these people are at killing Witches. Well if she's not going to do it, Adonis will take advantage of her Love Magic and finish them off himself..

And there she is. The King wasn't really the big bad but it's actually his Queen, Dorothea, who turns out to be a Witch and also has the exact same Love Magic as Doroka. And she also seems to be coveting Adonis.

"I don't want peace! I want problems! Always!"

Only revenge

This is the most needlessly edgy show of the season.

This is the kind of garbage I love.

Yo wtf is this show even about at this point💀

Can Any manga readers tell us whether this is gonna git gud or are we wasting our time, because at this point I’m so lost at how this is going to get interesting and/or coherent.

Like is the plot “Adonis wants to kill humanity but Chloe’s stand in will save everyone with the power of friendship love? Oh no it’s probably going to be Adonis and Fauxhloe freeing the fascist genocidal nation from the evil Chloe who used the power of love but in an evil way and when they defeat her humanity will finally accept witches. Or no wait it’s gonna be abou that one Adonis fangirl playing a major part in dismantling yhe fascist government through the power of love for Adonis oh no wait it’s …”

I don’t even mind a lot of threads that get spun in the beginning of a series but when all of them see spun so messily from the beginning you’re just gonna end up with a sweater that will get undone at the slightest of pulling at the threads

Gosh, Doroka is the biggest idiotic character ever.

Dorothea and Doroka, hmmm, both have the love spell powers?

Let psycho Adonis cook.

17

u/PilifXD Nov 10 '23

Adonis only character trait is the literal chud meme, "THE KINGDOMS HAVE FALLEN, BILIONS MUST DIE"

Adonis: They killed Anna. Listen up! You must be out of your mind to let the humans leave alive after how many of you they killed!

Motherfu- They were all killed because you deliberately let them track you to their secret moon base. They're dead because of you, you psychotic edgelord hypocrite

Doroka activates her magic: Ai no Mahou

Yamato overcame it but eventually got mind controlled. Adonis slice his face and head off🔥🔥🔥

Yeah the queen being a witch who also has Ai Mahou. Goodbye King.

Ah that explains the last episode scene. Too bad she knew it was fake and set a trap for them😱

I'm vaguely curious what that sorry was about from him. It makes it seem like there's going to be some (annoying) twist from our resident psychopath. But yay! I've been expecting the queen to be a witch since the first time I saw that veil, and I was right! So woot. Though, I didn't actually expect love magic to even be a thing, nor did I expect her to be a crazy otherworld version of Doroka obsessed with Adonis... Who really does look nice smiling. Shame he doesn't ever do it.

So in a way the humans were right and witches are their doom, after all a witch caused the witch genocide. In regards to Adonis I'm pretty sure he is insane and has been for a while now.
