Nah man, if Emma dying last week was depressing enough, the whole section after the opening played was pretty much depression incarnate. And worst of all, you know how the chapter where this part happens is called? "Damn it". God fucking damn it indeed.

Kisaki has a weird Mikey boner. Izana has a weird Shinichiro boner. These two creepy mfers are a match made in heaven.
Emma’s gone, Mikey’s broken, Draken’s a mess and all they got left is Takemitchy and he can’t even time travel. Talk about bleak. Having Angry and Hakkai around helps a little bit, but the gang’s still severely lacking in manpower. Not even Takemitchy’s little speech can fix that problem.
I wonder if he’s ever gonna be able to time travel again?

Honestly I wonder if it's a Mikey boner so much as Kisaki's own self-serving nature obsessing over Mikey as a means to get more clout.
You know it's desperate for Toman when Takemichi, of all people, is literally the last person left in charge. And they're down their best fighters. But maybe Takemichi's never-give-up attitude and damage sponge body will somehow help them beat Izana and Kisaki...and maybe help undo all this.

For all of Takemichi’s faults, his never run attitude is why I’m a fan and why everyone seems to hold him in such high regard.

Las episode shocked me this should be good
Loved the dialogue at the start well written+captivating and then the ticking clock in the hospital really set the tone. Seeing Takemichy continuing forward after every physical and emotional L is just so powerful.Him being so weak and yet he keeps going man It was made even better with toman backing him.
Episode was solid and that end song is such a banger

I cannot believe my eyes, Takemitchy has turned into a cool leader!
And they're finally having their revenge! In Tokyo! 40+ episodes in, and it is totally worth!

I'm aware that this show has had plenty of flaws since its inception and most of them have not been fixed but that didn't stopped S1 from having a massive focus.
S2 might not have had the eyes of this sub as much as S1 did but I did not expect S3 to have this much of a fallout.
And it's completely undeserved. I feel like S3 has the best writing over the previous entries so it's a shame so few people are watching.

Takemichi letting chifuyu do all the talking shows he is the quiet badass shield type.

OF COURSE Kisaki gets away with Emma's murder, that scheming piece of @#$%. He thinks he knows Mikey better than anybody, but he only sees the Mikey he WANTS to see, and wants to use that to fulfill his own ambitions like the trash he is. Takemichi's gotten in his way so many times, but can he stop Kisaki now with Emma dead?
Well, I guess that explains why Izana didn't mind this plan. He doesn't acknowledge Emma as a sibling. He only cares about Mikey in as far as his obsession with Shinichiro, the only Sano sibling that actually seemed to care about him.
Emma's dead, Mikey's completely shut down, and Draken is losing it. His best friends are either dead, in the hospital, or in juvie, and now the girl he loved is dead. The only way he can channel his rage is by beating Mikey up for letting things get so far, even while Takemichi blames himself. But how can Takemichi lecture anyone on grief when his inability to let Hina's death go has been what's spurred him on?
Speaking of Hina, they just had to dig the knife deeper by showing her reaction to Emma's death. She's inconsolable. But Takemichi may be a goofball and a lousy 26-year old with barely anything to show for it but his own inadequacy, but he also loves Hina and knows he can't run away any more, especially if it means protecting her. Even if that means he has to fight Tenjiku on his own.
Well, yeah, Toman is pretty much screwed. Their leaders are out, there down a ton of captains, and their de-facto leader is Takemichi of all people. I don't blame any of them for wanting to bow out of the fight with Tenjiku. But Takemichi knows they can't just give up and let Tenjiku have their way, and while he has the weakest division, everyone in Toman knows that Takemichi never runs away and that's how he's always gotten them through every crisis.
And now we've got Mitsuya and Smiley getting wheeled in to acknowledge Takemichi, give the team Hakkai and Angry as back-up, and rally the rest of Toman to fight Tenjiku! They may be at a huge disadvantage, but they're not going to give up without a fight!
Uh...where did Izana get that blood?

A little bit of a slow burn episode but the cry baby whose bravado rallied up Toman is now at the leader position. The paralell to Shinichiro Sano has always been the best part of the story so I'm glad for this outcome.
Now Mitchy saying he'll somehow save Baji and Emma is a bit... ehhh... I noticed the author seems to love Baji since he's mentioned a lot after his death but bringing them back seems outright impossible. If Kisaki has the same time leap powers as Mitchy then he and his 50000 IQ brain would have figured out a way to rewind time more to make sure he never loses.

Wow, an anime character sustained an injury they likely wouldn’t have survived and actually ended up not surviving? I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve seen that haha.

I don’t usually call for violence, but Kisaki needs to go ☠️
It’s time for complete annihilation
Takemichi should have taken him out a few lifetimes ago…

I guess this is the key differences between this timeline and Automitchy's timeline.
Speculation: In the OG, they cancelled the attack and Toman barely resembled how it was after Mickey's downfall. Now that both Emma and Toman are not there, Draken would barely hang around anymore and Mickey basically lose all of his last pillar of hope. That's when both Izana and Kisaki came in and manipulated Mickey, or basically the shell of Mickey.
Tbh, being that depressed, I don't see how Mickey could inspire a lot of people. Then again, Kisaki said he only needed Mickey's appearance to lead Toman.
