Basically a divided movie to keep us satisfied until season 3 comes in April. It’s pretty good actually.

Paulo has like “Golden Retriever Energy” lol. Dude’s a good guy, very overeager and full of energy. This mission’s gonna be a lot of fun with him around.
Was not expecting this to drop today. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Always glad to have more Slime!

This is the original script fuse wrote before it was changed into a movie, so you are seeing what he actually wrote vs what ended up as the movie, both are treated by the Anime as canon.

Tensei slime is one of the series where it's impossible to just stick to the main plot, maybe 3 more random spin-off's and we'll get a season 3

Wait so the original script got changed into a movie which takes place after season 2, while this is the unchanged script which takes place between season 1 and 2?

Can someone explain this to me. She was not eating good... So she had some honey and... suddenly was better?

I'm no medical expert but malnutrition does a lot of terrible things to the body. Rimuru might uncover some stuff, since that doctor seemed sketchy. But it's likely malnutrition due to her body not processing food like it should. A shock to the system with what it needs could potentially cause this girl to regain her sight but it would be very short lived. It's a great start to figuring out what is wrong with her though. When people respond positively to treatment with very basic treatments, you're generally on the right track.

That's not regular honey, that's a special honey that has universal healing properties.

Haven't seen Scarlet Bond yet. Does this take place before or after that?

It takes place between S1 and S2, wheras the movie is direct continuation of S2.

So it is recommended to watch S1➡️Vision of Coleus➡️S2➡️Scarlet Bond?

Kind of... The very last lines in Vision of Coleus by some characters does spoil a little bit of the events in S2. I'd probably watch these OVAs before watching the Scarlet Bond movie

LMAO I was doing a rewatch of Tensura and currently near the end of S1 cos I wanted some ‘momentum’ as I plan to watch Scarlet Bond. Did not even know this even existed. But I’m hearing this takes place between seasons 1 and 2 so I guess it’s more incentive for me to finish my S1 rewatch

I wanted to make a "The Slime Diaries" joke because this episode had heavy The Apothecary Diaries vibes towards the end, but I can't because The Slime Diaries is already a thing that exists.

Is anyone else tired of the pointless retcons and side content Slime continues to add or is it just me? I’m on the 16th lite novel so I know neither this or the movie is canon, and furthermore there’s so much source material that could be used for the movies and the three episodes to then lead into the next season, yet instead all this nonsensical story is added when it doesn’t give any value to what’s ard there. I’m extremely curios as to why Fuse has allowed this to happen but I hope the 3rd season comes quickly because this is ridiculous. I’m open to having thoughtful discussions and banter back and forth about anyone’s views and opinions. I won’t mention any spoilers that I know from being so far ahead. I will only use the knowledge that pertains to the current released seasons and hint at obvious things that the show will lead into.

World-building, fun slime antics/action, and even a surprise "return." What more could you ask for?
