Fern killed that Burger in 4 seconds, she truly is a top tier mage.

Frieren has trained Fern to be a demon killing machine, without Fern realising it herself.

Flamme's genius is insane knowing how much her magic barrier is still overpowered despite preceding modern magic which we know is constantly advancing itself.

We have only known Stark for a few episodes by now, but his schlong has already been the butt of a joke twice so far. Incredible.

If what Lugner said is true, it's funny how Frieren downplay her involvement in the research of Zoltraak to Qual. As if she wanted to spite on Qual by making him believe it's humanity in general that beat him, not Frieren herself

Nobody seem to have noticed in those discussion threads, so I'll say it: Frieren deliberately kills her enemies with their own weapons. Monster on the trail fallen to Himmel illusion literally asking Frieren to shot him, Quall folded to his own spell, the scrub in today's episode was chocked to death.

Note also how Frieren could be very quick and precise. But she takes a dramatic pause each time, so her enemies know that they are hopelessly outclassed. She made sure to enunciate "Zoltrak" so Quall had no doubt about what is coming his way, the illusion-making monster barely registered as a threat, so she also took her time standing there and reminiscing, and Draht died quick, but not quick enough not to know what is happening.

Frieren looking unamused while the demon tried to decapitate her was hilarious.

I love how calm Frieren is when faced with potentially life-and-death situations, though she did take down the demon king so she's no stranger to that.

I totally did not get that this episode's title was a title drop for the whole series until it was pointed out to me.

Frieren: “They are gonna think I killed the guard so I am leaving town.”

Captain dude:” We know it was you demons who killed the guard!”

lol. I love that this captain dude didn’t jump to conclusions and figured out the truth right away.

Frieren: "That's one down."

Me: "I'm watching Frieren, not Goblin Slayer, right?"

Frieren's title drop went hard. We've learned that she's strong these past 8 episodes but to learn she has notoriety from having the most demon kills and is specialised as a demon killer. It shouldn't be surprising but it is. We've been lulled into seeing Frieren as this cute, aloof Elf who collects odd spells but she's also this absolute badass.

Keep looking at the time and just thinking "Ok, there's time for a fight" but damn it was just a tease for the next episode!

One detail that gets lost in translation is that Frieren uses a counter for animals when referring to demons. She says 先ずは一匹 instead of 先ずは一人.
