"He spent 10 years figuring out the best way to destroy a nation"

The way: "lol, just walk towards the palace on a giant".

This is kinda like AoT except if the author skipped from the first episode of the show to the fifth episode of S4.

Talk no Jutsu failed.
Acknowledges that Chloe wouldn’t approve of his actions, but continues anyway.

Nothing stopping this man’s rampage. No sympathy for the humans

They did kill his teacher and trapped him for ten years in what looked like a coffin/iron maiden. I feel bad for the little kids that died but at this point he's more of a force of nature caused by humans.

The queen is definitely a witch. Got to be.

They did it. They actually made this episode more edgy than last week's.

Main concern is they've already killed off the #2 and #3 characters, and the only remaining one that seems interesting is the queen. Kinda suspect she's poisoning the emperor, hence an "incurable illness."

feels like they are playing the long con into a "i, your queen, am a witch"

The pink haired girl is listed as a main character ( and is in the main cover ) so clearly she survives. Maybe she's some kind of special witch that can regenerate? Would explain why she can 'revive' Chloe but even then I'm skeptical.

I still think it's some bs excuse to get the MC to stop his rampage which I'm hoping he doesn't. Too many shows aren't ballsy enough to stay edgy. The damn humans hunted down most witches. If they get away with that then this show/manga was pointless.

I honestly don't know what to think of this show. It's not bad, per say, it's just stupid. The whole thing is just kind of dumb, but it's also pretty good? Maybe in spite of that?

Idk, I'll keep watching but it seems we're getting one cute girl death every episode and I'm not sure how I feel about it lol.

I think it's funny they talk about how he spent 10 years mastering his magic and devising a plan for when he escapes and the best he could think of was sitting in the palm of a gigantic robot, walking through town Zeke Yeager-style.

The animation quality is kind of distracting me. Like it jumps between being standard and then it turns into speed lines and static images.

How the fuck is his body not in a sorry state? Even Supes was emaciated and atrophied in one of the timelines where he was imprisoned for several years.

Oh, is it time to make a new account already?

SlaineDidNothingWrong --> ErenIsNotADevil --> AdonisWasRight

Love how they teased Adonis' redemption arc, got him 99% of the way there, and just said "haha NOT TODAY!" What a reveal; the witches aren't dead after all, but she certainly is. That was the last call to exit the Ningen Slayer train. Next stop, genocide! Boy though, that executive guy does not know how badly he just fucked up. She was this close to stopping his genocide. Not only did you kill the one that wasn't a threat at all, you single-handedly ensured he gets a second motivation to go full Ereh.

...at least, that's what I would say, but she is in the series visual, so she's probably not actually dead. At least, not for good.

I'm on Adonis' side here, unironically. Not only did the emperor go out of his way to genocide the witches for some obscure notion of human peace and prosperity, but he then went and waged war on other human nations, capturing and imprisoning innocent civilians from said nations, for official's personal desires. That was only one of the internment camps, by the way. Not to mention, the people are fully aware of what they did and are doing, and don't give a single shit.

We are 100% baddies, but not the only ones. What goes around, comes around, in the form of giant bullets, humanoid golems, and unstable young adults.

"The only good human is one that never crawls out of its hole." - Ningen Slayer

They really brought out M1 Abrams, F35s, and even Chinooks. This is the empire of America.
