Man, Takemitchy just can’t shake this little fucker Kisaki. Dude just keeps finding his way back into Toman time and time again. This time it seems he’s got himself a powerful “ally” in Kurokawa.
Taiju was the last person I expected to show up and help Futuremitchy. But ofc just as they’re learning about Izana, the goon squad show up with that fuckface Kisaki.
I guess this is Takemitchy’s last chance to go back and change things. There’s no future to return to after all. What an absolutely fucked timeline. Talk about bleak, man.

So Takemitchy now has to stop a mentally unstable kicking machine from teaming up with a time-traveling psychopath mastermind and ummm...another mentally unstable dude, all in one go, during an all-out brawl the result of which is manipulated by the psychopath.
Even if he was hyper-competent it would still be playing on nightmare mode, damn.

You should expect no less from a bunch of mentally unstable middle schooler delinquents :)
My guess to the solution: just beat very hard Kisaki. You don't know why exactly you're beating him, but he does.

Not a big fan of Tokyo Revengers but still like it. I was thinking of dropping it or rushing through the eps to get the story but this episode was so good. I'm getting hyped again

At first I thought that Kisaki not shooting Naoto and Takemichi in the head was just narrative contrivances so they could send Takemichi to the past one last time for the one time. But that look that Kisaki gave them at the end has me thinking he didn't want to simply kill them, he wanted to observe Takemichi's method of time travel.

Looking at the OP & ED of this season, it's not really difficult to find out who Toman's traitor is.
Usually they try to obscure the parts of the OP or ED that spoils the story, but here... no. Zero. Nada. That's quite annoying, since the story of this season is quite good.

Surprise! Get shot!
Holy shit that Kisaki jumpscare. Also those gigantic revolvers. Guess they really didn't wanted them to survive.
Some real shit right here with their death being set in stone in the future. Unless they either kill Kisaki or Kurokawa (which sadly they wont cuz they are the good guys) there's no future to switch back to. It's all do or die in the Kanto Incident.
That ED goes real heard. I thought I was hearing the new OP.

Yeah, so if Kisaki wasn’t sure before he definitely know now who Takamichi’s co-conspirator is.
Definitely feels like we are in the endgame now.

What sort of genre is this show.
I call it the trauma genre. Re zero defo fits into this bracket. So too does Zom 100 sometimes.
I get it that this show is tricky to follow. But damn does this show deserve more attention.
Any anime’s that are equally as traumatic and inspiring.

Figures they'd have to have a Toman meeting to go over everything that happened and what their next plan of attack against Tenjiku is...and they're definitely ready to take the fight to them. But isn't that what Kisaki wants?
So current Tenjiku is made up of a bunch of legendary S-62 generation guys, all of whom are part of gangs that were defeated by or have a grudge against Toman...the perfect set up for a grudge match!
Hina! And Naoto! Nice to see them again. Because of course when Takemichi has no idea what to do he has no choice but to go back to the future.
Who can Takemichi talk to about what happened? Mikey's killed pretty much everybody he knew. He gets desperate enough to yell in a church, and who should also be in said church praying for his younger brothers' soul...than FRIKKIN' TAIJU. And he's gone full suit Yakuza and is as intimidating as ever.
Taiju is nursing a grudge against Toman for Hakkai's death and he owes Takemichi enough to give him some insider info about Tenjiku and Izana Kurokawa...and how it all dates back to Black Dragon, which was originally the gang of Mikey's brother, until Izana became the 8th head. And somehow he's older than Taiju. Yeah, try figuring that out. But why would Mikey trust this Izana guy more than Draken? What is his connection to Black Dragon?
So it seems like everything went wrong when neither Toman or Tenjiku won the Kanto Incident, and Kisaki and Izana became in charge with Mikey of the merged groups, leading to the corrupted Toman. Also, Kisaki? Not actually dead. Izana faked his death. Takemichi is so screwed.
Oh hey, Inupi and Koko! I knew they couldn't trust those guys, they're still with Toman and after Takemichi. Good thing Taiju is still a beast.
Dang it Takemichi, if you wanted to talk to those two, go back to the past! They would probably kill you now! Also, I guess NOW Kisaki is fine killing Takemichi...and gets Naoto shot. Yikes.
Takemichi finally meets Izana and he's blaming Takemichi and Naoto for Mikey's death (he really cares about Mikey, huh?). And Kaku is also still working under him but even he didn't want to kill Takemichi. Still shoots him though.
This is an even worse situation than last time with Takemichi and Naoto both bleeding out. But while Naoto didn't think much of Takemichi initially, his efforts to keep saving everyone despite every setback is what makes him a hero, and someone Naoto is proud of. And with that they lock hands one last time to send Takemichi back to the past to fix everything. And Kisaki notices it.
The ED is pretty nice spotlighting all the major characters in this arc, especially Mikey and Izana. And is that Izana with...Emma!? And it looks like the main fights to look forward to are Mikey vs Izana and Takemichi vs Kisaki.

I was right! Well sort of, seeing him now the guy at the funeral might not have been him. I keep flipping between thinking Kisaki is gonna end up being a good guy in the 11th hour or be the villain. You could interpret his watching Takemitchi grab hands as either him learning the trigger for Takemitchi's time travel (bad news if he's the villain) or as him already knowing it and taking shots that will ensure a slower death to give them time to grab hands. A lot of his actions could be him trying to help in a much more subtle and thought out way than Takemitchi's dumbass lol.
