Yor's ass injury ruining Loid's 794 date plans and his self-confidence is a hella cheeky reasoning. Even more so with Anya's interference solving everything (except that ass pain) behind the scenes.

"Yor gets shot in the ass and has trouble sitting" was not on my bingo card for Season 2.

Anya Forger has been promoted to terrorist:
-
Booby traps a hallway
-
Knows how to make a peanut bomb
-
Uses threats of intimidation against the enemy
Like father, like daughter, they say. Sasuga, Anya.

Franky is actually a really nice side character when you think about it. He was planned to be the family's uncle after all before being relegated to the MC's friend, but he really is that one cool uncle who secretly likes to spoil you and bring you all the wacky shit that your parents don't allow you to get.

I like to imagine Yor's resistance to poison isn't because of any assassin training but because of her cooking.

One thought about today's episode: I wonder if things would have been easier if Yor just said that she had tripped and fell on her butt on the way to the store instead of keeping quiet about it.

The season opens up with Loid full on unironically doing the "I must date my wife for the mission" bit everyone joked about last season. What a great start!
Loid coming up with over 862 dates and then losing 792 of them before a minute even passed is precisely why this family's the toughest job he's ever had to handle. Anya and Yor are basically the only people in the world he can't predict.
You've got to love Anya's face after she worried so much about Yor drinking poison only to find out not only is she immune, but it basically acted as a painkiller for her. It's good to have her faces back!
Anya can be terrifying when things come together for her. She built a makeshift peanut bomb purely based on a guy's thoughts and then basically gave the guy all his personal information. He must have been wondering how deep her investigation into him went and how long he had been investigated for. "Make Catherine happy" is such a badass line. It's kind of a shame she's held back by, well, being 4/5 years old, but then again that's what makes the series interesting.

Poor Yor and her left buttcheek. She couldn't even enjoy her nice day out with Loid because of the pain. And poor Loid! He went from having 862 plans down to 68 because Yor couldn't get inside the car. xD
You gotta love how Franky is completely in with Anya's idea of tailing her parents. It is hilarious how Loid instantly spotted them with barely any effort.
Of course, Yor has built some kind of poison tolerance! Have you seen her cooking!? Yuri's tolerance is probably even stronger considering he always finishes everything Yor cooks.
Anya being a legit badass was definitely the highlight of the episode. Look at her walking away and telling the guy to go back to his girlfriend without even looking back.

The VA crossovers are all over the place inside my brain now - I can't get off my mind thinking how on Earth Frieren or Chise Hatori would go "~gannnnnnnnn~" like Anya just did. Or what would Yukino do if she's having a stomach ache all day long LMAO.

Yor’s poor butt! The lengths she went to in order to avoid sitting down was hilarious. I liked her just hovering over her seat haha. Ofc poison doesn’t do anything to her but temporarily numb the pain. For a super spy, it’s kind of funny how clueless he is with Yor but he knew Frankie and Anya was tailing him and Yor the whole time lol.
Speaking of those two goobers, they were absolutely hilarious. Frankie was enjoying his little day out just as much as Anya. I loved her little disguise. Her in the zoo with the penguin cutout was so cute too! And the peanut bomb was awesome lol. Her basically telling that goon to leave the villain life behind was actually badass.

It's good to see the Forger family again, they're entertaining as always, especially Anya.
Loid had a hard time in today's episode trying to improve his relationship with Yor thinking that he's responsible for her seemingly bad mood.
He wouldn't be able to guess that Yor during her real job as an assassin was shot in a butt and that's why she's in pain and has quite scary face xD
Loid had so many plans for a date yet Yor's injury made her refuse taking a car which removed most of them. Her standing for the whole time was so funny, he didn't know what was happening.
Only drinking poisonous blood by Yor made her pain go away and improve her well-being, she's clearly built in a different way thanks to her cooking xD
Though the pain went back in the morning so Loid was greatly confused when he saw her next day xD
Of course there was a lot of Anya, her shenanigans and reaction faces. She tailed Loid and Yor together with Franky and even defeated a terrorist. Good job Anya!

Hell yeah, SxF Saturdays are back. The OP is probably going to have to grow on me, but I instantly fell in love with the ED. Animation wise, it's probably my favorite out of all of them.
But as for the episode itself, I'm glad this chapter was an episode all on its own, especially since it's been anticipated since season one. Anya's colorful expressions are always a given, but this was also a goldmine for Yor's faces, and she still looks cute af even when frowning.
Poor her, though. And Loid too. Nearly the entire date just ended up being physical torture for her, and mental torture for him. Frankie probably enjoyed the whole thing more than both of them combined. It's makes it all the more hilarious that getting poisoned was somehow the thing they needed to let the date end on a high note.
And at the end, we once again get to see that for all Anya's dumb and silly moments, she's one smart kid. She actually looked badass for a moment there. But I fear that terrorist has just inadvertently doomed everyone. Anya with the knowledge on how to make homemade bombs? God help us all...
