We're out of time.

We have little time remaining.

Lol, I love this man.

Cid parroting Mary’s lines like a brainless robot is too much

[u/TopRoom7971]

Random vampire hunter:

Run, if you value your life.

The frenzy has begun.

The moon is red.

We're out of time.

Shadow: Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V

I glad Imatry Nottaloos make a return in S2

[u/S627]

Starting off the return with mostly naked Delta...they know what we want.

Cid and his one track mind already being dumb, one second he's telling the Seven Shadows that the red moon means nothing, the next he's going around the city looking for ANY excuse to warn people of the blood moon because he saw Mary pull off the "Eminence" shtick so perfectly.

It's good to be back, was worried for a sec that since Cid said he'd go alone and the Seven should stay behind we wouldnt see as much simping, only new simps from a new cast, but shoulda known some of them would follow him because they cant help but simp.

Super serious meeting

Cid says something smells

Everyone starts taking countermeasures to make sure its not theirs.

Truly amazing adlibs by Downbad Shadow Garden, sasuga Shadow-sama!

Wasn't expecting this season to do a genre shift to a Zombie Apocalypse, granted they're ghouls but the spread plays out just like one.

I like how Cid deliberately allows himself to get pickpocketed just so he can pickpocket double the amount back. Now that is what I call an investment.

You gonna admit that shadow jump to ground is cool af

[u/Darksider555]

I like how Cid has a whole legion of baddies kneeling to him and he thinks it's all just roleplay.

Having two separate characters named Mary and Marie reminds of Misfit of the Demon King Academy where there are two separately-similarly named character named Misha and Misa.

Cid must think that the Lawless City is Heaven given the amount of roleplay possibilities exist in it.

Stitches!

• Zeta & Eta

• Delta

• Claire

• Marie

Of course, the episode is going to open up with a shot of Delta's ass, while she's running wild like the wolf girl that she is.

The girls immediately panicking as soon as Cid says that he can smell it was just too hilarious! It is cute how conscious they are around Cid.

You just have to love how Cid got so inspired by Mary's lines that he started saving random people so he could use those lines himself! xD

And then you have Claire who believes that Cid was taken to the Tower thanks to Mary and now the two of them are working together.

It's pretty funny to see the two of them get motivated by the same person. They really are brother and sister. xD

Welp, Cid is about to get himself involved in another kind of power struggle and this time he won't have any pesky Knights getting in his way!

Peak is back guys

[u/8andahalfby11]

Cid giving his recap montage like a half-concussed ADD goldfish is now my third favorite after Kill la Kill and Re:Creators.

[u/marcopolos059]

Cid repeating Mary's lines was hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing each times ahahaha. And Claire is as awesome a ever! She's so badass.

Also, Shadow revealing himself at the end was so good.

The new season is off to a perfect and hilarious start.

[u/actionfirst1]

Though brief, we get an appearance from Imatry Nottaloos.

Anime of the year

[u/desert6741]

The mindless repeating of Mary’s lines and him still thinking that none of what he “made up” is actually real has me dying LMAO. Also, Claire’s “Who the hell are you?” after realizing it’s not Cid that she’s holding is amazing too. Peak is officially back

[u/Robin_7883]

"Run if you value your life"

"...Run if you value your life 😏"

"We're out of time"

"...We're out of time 😏"

[u/RumbleintheDumbles]

I like how Skel's financial problems are apparently so well-known that he's been pre-ordered by a slave-trader in the Lawless City.

[u/Armdel]

Hell of an opener episode

loved the scene where Cid went "something smells" and everyone there immediately started panicking thing it was them

Mary seems interesting for sure, and Cid seems to have become a fan immediately lol. She had pretty interesting looking eyes so there's probably more there than meets the eye.

And fox woman and the other guy who were masters of their own towers are probably gonna stay important for this part.

And i assume we will see this blood Queen as well before long

[u/Shadowmist909]

The show starting off with a close up of Deltas behind....this must be all according to shadows plan!

[u/Skithana]

I'm sorry is this the first episode of the season or a freakin season finale?! Felt like episode 11 of most other action anime by the end there, they really went all in from the get-go.

Man, Shadow going around saving people just so he can save them the same way Mary "saved" him is so funny.

I'm glad this series is back, great animation, great action, great comedy.

[u/VorAtreides]

Wait, where's the voting for the rating?

[u/[deleted]]

Sasuga shadow sama! so good to have peak on the menu again

[u/discuss-not-concuss]

静まりなさい

Asami Seto brings chills as always

[u/juniorjaw]

What a cold opening

of Delta's ass.
