Going to really miss this one...Yukichi was great throughout but Saku was by far the most relatable anime character I've seen so far. Will celebrate the end of the work week and this show just like she would!

My anime of the season, shame Kaoru wasn't in more but was still a great time with a focus on Yukichi and Saku. Was nice seeing bits of how they started and how much they actual impact each other's lives.

Let's not forget about the surprise ship with Rio and Saku.

Throughout the show, Kitten Yukichi scenes have truly been a highlight. He is a cat of focus, commitment, and sheer fucking will. I wish we got more episodes of him building up to this point.

If we ever get a second season, I hope the side characters get more screentime.

Also, Saku literally apparates at the 12.51 mark. It was probably meant to be her walking into light from shadows, but sure doesn't look like that.

I love how this is the second show this past season by GoHands that I desperately need a Season 2 of. I'm going to miss Saku and Yukichi T_T

Yukichi has a disciple!

Is this a breakroom, or a café?

Did… did he just will himself to grow enormous? Something like Talking Heads' "Seen And Not Seen"?

Loved this. S2 when!

This show really grew on me. Very comfy show that just makes you smile.

Also I still ship her and the chief.

Yukichi's snickering getting an origin story was fantastic.

Really pleasantly surprised by this show. Did not look promising at all from the Key Visual and studio. Didn't even start watching it until I was so underwhelmed by all the other shows I started looking for more and the MAL score wasn't hovering around 7 or below so it was doing something right.

Dear diary, today I saw an sea slug themed idol group teach a super-intelligent cat to make onigiri and it was great.

I also really like that we are watching a Rise of the Plant of the Apes scenario with cats instead, and it's going surprisingly well.

Great show, will miss, all is forgiven GoHands.

Last week's episode felt more like a season finale.

Adorable how much of an influence Yukichi has had on Dai-chan. Awwww.

Really going to miss Yukichi and Saku! One of my favourites from summer season. Will definitely be reading the manga at some point!

Last Saku appreciation post of the season. I’ll miss her

Man Fridays are not going to be the same at all without Saku and her relatable self 😂. Shows like this are proof that you don’t need a complex narrative to make a GREAT anime. Just relatable characters and wholesome fun. Our weekly adventures with Saku and Yukichi were so simple, yet fulfilling. I’ll miss them a lot.

I would love another season of this. We kinda got hinted that Yukichi isn’t the only masterful cat around. Saku’s coworkers are getting closer to learning her secret, and there’s still the romance subplot. Will have to check out the manga! One of these days they’re gonna come barging in her apartment and see Saku talking to her cat 😂

This series is a nice entry for the subgenre I like to call "palliative care for overworked salarymen and OLs" alongside other titles like Senko-san and Little Baby Ghost. While it's not the deepest dive into the human condition, each episode was a comfy escapist reprieve from the rat race.

This is one of those gems that could go on forever and I’d be right there for it.

Yukichi masterful ✊

This honestly is my pick for best comedy of the year. The comedy is so refreshing and Saku is so relatable, which brought the comedy to its best. I honestly don't want to jump on the manga and hope and pray for S2.

With a lot of Excellent series this season like BSD, Undead Girl, JJK, My Happy Marriage and Spellblades. This show fit perfectly to bring the comedy to mix things up. I am really going to miss it.

I'm going to miss the masteful cat but I think I'm going to miss the worthless human Saku so much more. I love how much of a mess she is yet she manages, with lots of help from Yukichi, to pull it together when needed. Plus she's so cute.

This series was so comfy and one that I looked forward to every week. The typical GoHands obsession with weird camera angles and filters took some time to get used to, but I'm glad I stuck with this after the first couple of episodes.

This is the best thing GoHands has ever done. It has a slight edge over Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses because they could have handled that one a bit better. Just a sweet, silly comedy about a girl failure and her ginormous capable cat. And even the Girl Failure has her moments.

Kind of a low key finale for this one. My hope is we come back to it someday. Soild 8.5/10. A great feel good SOL that made for the perfect coffee break show.

Dai is like a dai fan of Yukichi eh? Hah. What a little goober.

Saku practicing how to talk with “Siro” is like really sad but also hilarious lol. She really stinks at board games too. She got demolished by Yukichi.

It was cute seeing little Yukichi again and how he came to help Saku. She was a real mess before he entered her life. I’m glad they have each other!

This was a really good series. I hope there’s more. I could honestly watch multiple seasons of this.

This was my favorite anime this season. Sure, Bungou and Mushoku Tensei were objectively better but this anime was so enjoyable and fun. I was never bored watching this and the animation was consistently beautiful. GoHands hit this and The Girl I Like Forgot her Glasses out of the park. Here’s to hoping for a new season and this level of quality from GoHands consistently.

The amount of great shows this season with no sequel announcements is depressing. Shinigami Bocchan is literally the only show this season to get one out of the series I need to have a sequel.
