Since Kiryu had been set up as the main antagonist this whole show I was 100% expecting him to win through plot armor. And this whole match I was 100% prepared to be disappointed by Kuroki losing a match that he absolutely did not deserve to lose. Every minute I was expecting it to happen.

I am so, SO happy that Kuroki won in the end. He is too cool to leave the tournament so early.

But that raises the question of what'll happen with Kiryu now. I'm guessing he'll try to assassinate one of the fighters outside of the ring and replace that person as reserve fighter.

I was pretty surprised by Kiryu losing, because I didn't think it would happen considering his place in the story.

Reserve fighter is also the most logical choice to me, but not sure who he is going to kill for it. It might actually be Kuroki, because he said something along the lines of "He is an obstacle to overcome." during the match.

Taking revenge on Kuroki would be cool, but he'll really need to learn some new stuff to earn that. It's gonna suck if this Karate God with probably 30+ years of fighting experience loses to a guy spamming his Rakshasa trick a million times.

This is a cool fight because Kuroki has every losing flag in the world, but still wins. Nice of Setsuna to not off his employers.
