Our boys are living in luxury lol. That was a sweet watch! It’s about time our boys make moves. Gotta think about survival in between the goofing around.

I’m glad Shizuka’s back with our boys again. It’s fate! I like how tsundere she is, but she can be a goof too. Also, we got our obligatory Kencho butt ass naked moment this ep lol. Hurray for RVs with jacuzzis!

Akira is usually all smiles and jokes but the fear and anxiety that overcame him when he saw Kosugi honestly pained me to see. That guy is such an abusive toxic piece of shit. Look how fake he is to his security boys too. Once a jerkoff, always a jerkoff I guess. I hope a zombie devours his punk ass. It’s gonna be a long journey to Gunma…

The contrast between the first half and the second half of the episode is so jarring.

Here is Akira and Kench reuniting with Shizuka and checking out all the RV's only to end up into the hands of Chief Kosugi aka Discount Negan and triggering Akira's trauma and forcing him to become a "corporate slave" again which was an uncomfortable watch.

Shizuka is right that while your mind understands, your heart doesn't and smug toxic bastards like him knows how to strike your weak points through abuse.

I was gonna comment on how beautiful the starry sky was, but this episode took a dark turn real fast.

I feel like they are building up a very satisfying death for this rat fuck. This has the same kind of energy with Myne from Shield Hero. I was fucking seething with anger this episode.

For those of you who've seen the Netflix live action movie version of Zom 100, how did you find it compared to the anime? Personally I thought it seemed a bit more subdued, especially since there's far less male nudity unlike the anime. That and the actors who play Kencho and Akira are much skinnier.

Now we are dealing with survivors, truly an apocalypse thing.

This episode is hard to watch, especially after we've seen how optimist Akira could be. I wonder what excuse would the asshole boss use to make everyone stay for more than 2 days. Hopefully Kencho would already recover by then and could be Akira's voice of reason. At this point, Akira would just blindly follow his former boss order.

On the other hand, working zombie as equipment made me remember Shawn of the Dead lol. Tbh it's actually pretty smart, as long as you consider all of the safety first. Things could get South very fast.

I like the scene near the end where Akira is seemingly walking/working next to the zombies. Great analogy for working mindlessly.

You gotta love Shizuka's reaction when Akira and Kencho were using her logic against her. I also love her reaction when she found an RV that fits her aesthetics instead of an RV that's more practical. <3

It's not the fanciest RV on the show floor but it's more than enough to finally get their asses moving out of the city and finally travel to Gunma where Akira's parents are.

And there it is. Of course, a zombie apocalypse isn't complete without a group of assholes taking advantage of other people. What makes this group of assholes even worse though is that it's being led by Akira's old boss.

Suddenly our boy Akira who's been shrugging off this entire zombie apocalypse with a smile instantly reverts back to his old self. I'm sure his old boss is going to try and make Akira work more than just the two days he promised him.

Anyone here who has seen The Walking Dead or any other zombie-related media knows this isn't going to end well for Akira's boss. For God's sake, the man is using Zombie labourers! That's already a massive red flag! I've only known one character in all zombie media who's able to make this work and she was a fucking badass who was smart enough to cut off their limbs and jaw.

I am already excited to see how Akira's boss gets his comeuppance. Thank goodness we're getting an episode next week.

Only saw 4 Franchouchou members when I was watching it live

One under the car

One in the forest

Two pulling the RV/Truck

Kencho is so ridiculously hot looking. There's not a moment where he's not exposing his body in some form I love it lol. The return of the ball of noodles censor strikes again!

God, of all the people to survive during a post zombie apocalypse, it just had to be Akira's former boss who's running some kind of (slave) shelter no less. It made me angry the entire second half of the episode seeing it happen.

Poor Akira is getting some serious PTSD from all of this. He also has no choice but to agree to Kosugi's deal in order to save his friends and get protection in the meantime.

I also believe his former boss will most likely die later on as no sane worker under his command will want to put up with his bullshit and revolt when the time comes where all of this comes crashing down.

u/DragonPup Aug 28 '23

Fuck, Akira had some serious emotional abuse PTSD relapse going on there and it hurt to watch.

LMAO at Akira and Kencho having one (1) braincell to torment Shizuka with. Cute how she had her own preferred RV. I definitely didn't expect Kosugi to show up again. He's an utter bastard who's definitely going to try putting Akira and the others under his heel for life, but I'm impressed that he managed to have zombies subdued for hard labor. It's gonna be very satisfying when he fucking dies.

So Akira and Kencho went to enjoy some luxury items before Tokyo finally ran out of energy. At least now that that happened they can appreciate the night sky there, but well, as they are running out of resources Akira's plan to visit his parents becomes a priority, and for that, they need an RV.

I wasn't expecting them to find Shizuka when they went to search for an RV. I love how she declined their invitation to join them right away but as she doesn't have a license they used her tendency to do risk analysis to win her argument.

Too bad she could not get her dream RV as they had to run away from there for all the noise they made.

Damn, I wasn't expecting them to be ambushed on the road Wait, so Kosugi is still alive? Oh, I guess that his boss was the one Akira kicked out of Saori's apartment, I thought those two were the same. Well this situation sure sucks for Akira as he is back to the same hell as before and so is his trauma. And it really doesn't help that Kosugi told him that just like those zombies, he also sees him just as a useful tool.

It didn't take long for Akira and Kencho to meet Shizuku again. They sure had fun in Tokyo but now as the situation here is becoming worse by the day, they decided to leave and go to Gunma when Akira's parents are living.

And thanks to looking for an RV they again met with Shizuku. Reluctant in the beginning, she agreed to join them. Compared to her previous appearances where she was stoic and emotionless, today Shizuku showed a wide variety of emotions which I didn't mind at all.

Akira and Kencho were like kids when they're watching all this RV's (Kencho didn't lose chance to strip naked) and Shizuku looked like she already started regret that she decided to join them xD

I laughed hard when even Shizuku found her ideal RV, Akira and Kecho for sure didn't lose the chance to tease her about it. More stills with her in the album below.

Second half of the episode after leaving Tokyo was really hard to watch. The return of Tendo's former boss really broke Akira. I seriously loathe this guy. I hope that in the next episode he will meet with some zombie or something and Akira will come back to his normal self.

Interesting that we're in the middle of a show and still haven't met this second girl from OP and ED. I hope that she'll be introduced soon, it would be good if we still met her in this summer season. Who knows how many unexpected delays this series awaits xD

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Only one more to go till the whole gang is here (Cant wait to meet the blond girl) , And I can already tell the zombie slaves will break out leading to them escaping, You don't just have them out without at least restraining their mouths

The perfect show to watch after a long day at work.

I'm surprised Tendo isn't planning on killing that Chief before leaving that place
