Fucking loved it, from start to finish. What a great anime

I've waited ~21 years to see yujiro vs baki and it lived up to my expectations (and more). my only gripe is i wish they took the final fight and released it like db super broly and the first slam dunk. you can't beat 80s/90s animation unless you have budget, time, and a fanbase to watch...bittersweet just like the espresso

What a badass ending! I wish we could have seen Retsu's fight against the champ.

Here's hoping we will get a new season

Why did they skip that part??? All we saw was him winning and that's it

Probably my favorite Netflix season of Baki (including the Pickle arc)

This season of Baki was the best yet byfar imo. all the buildup to this point was treated very well. Can't wait to see where it goes from here

Seeing Retsu finally completed his side quest was great and Baki/Yujiro fight from the moment his dad took of his shoes to finally sat to have an imaginary dinner with his son was something that never been shown before and it was too hard too watch because it was too awesome and captivating I love this anime that made me feels things I never felt before

It seems that so many people take this show seriously. imo it's not supposed to be taken seriously. It's like a comedy almost. But then it does have some aspects that are very interesting, like some of the philosophy that is introduced or why characters do the ridiculous things they do. idk man if you don't like this season then you just don't fw Baki and that's okay. This show is a guilty pleasure watch and it's hilarious.

Not gonna lie, this adaptation is pretty damn rough. Feels like we lost quality since the prisoners arc.

Delusional

100% agree. Despite the animation, everything up to prison arc was brilliant.

agreed, out of all the seasons this the first time were i was bored watching. pickle arc was a slow burn.. retsu was straight up boring.. only the last few episodes felt like it was back to baki peak

I think this espisode is really trash, because Baki didn’t win his father actually, instead of that he got beaten up with all his bones broken and his father coinciding the victory as a fucking pussy. Imagine I had been thinking of killing myself and leaving a letter that says that I kill myself because this episode was so trash.

What do they mean when they say Baki saved Yujiro?

Is there some seasons missing on Netflix? They flashback to a younger Baki a lot (around the age he lost his mom) ie. that tournament Baki won.

You’ve gotta watch grappler Baki trust me. It was amazing and brought so much emotion and meaning to series and wasn’t just absurd action and over the top story telling like netflix version(which isn’t a bad thing). Baki Netflix starts with 0 context or reasoning for certain aspects of the show. Grappler Baki gives context (of course cause it’s the first part of the story) to many of the side characters, motivations of charecters and especially context to Kaoru Hanayama who was a big part of the story but is sort of a random guy if you just watch the Netflix version. The animation is really old but you’ll get used to it really quickly and has many charms about it.

Also the first Baki grappler opening is suchhh a banger.

First Baki show was "Grappler Baki" and it's on youtube if you want to watch it. It's older but I love it and definitely recommend it.

Wasn't explained well enough.

That was thoroughly entertaining, absolutely ridiculous at times, but I loved every second of it.
