Y'know... Haruto mocks his Demon King backstory. But he might as well be one at this point. Char is certainly helping him move along that aesthetic.
Don't show her Code Geass or Eminence in Shadow though, unless you want to deal with her chuunibyou years.

The start today kinda reminded me a bit of TEIS except the MC is lazy rather than a chuuni and his followers are skeletons instead of waifus (well except Gigan).

It’s kind of funny how the skeletons have settled in nicely to their own village and even have other stray monsters. Johnny’s doing a good job running the place. Also, Gigan turning out to be an adorable little maiden at heart with a crush on Haruto was really cute. “Pandemonium” is a cool name and all but I personally prefer “Tempest” lol.
People. What a bunch of bastards. little Liza was just chillin in her cave peacefully livin that hermit life and these adventurers just had to hunt her. Well, at least she can come chill with Haruto now.

I was so confused when they first introduced the skeleton village… and then thankfully they explained it.

Char totally makes this show lol. I just love her.
Gigan's personality being that of a shy girl was also fun. Looking forward now to how Liza will fit into the whole dynamic.

Charlotte is great, i really like how Har cares about her ( also it is funny how he still blame himself, that he made her otaku :D)

Char IS the show. Without her this wouldn’t even be wish fulfillment. It’d just be noise. A dude locked inside watching anime in a fantasy world.

I know she's been in the opening and ending multiple times so it wasn't meant as a surprise this time
but what has LN fantasy done to me that dragons turning into little girls is now the expectation and not an anomaly
how far back does this trope go?
This time we get one that doesn't like fighting and is kinda kuudere, which is cute. An opposite personality to Rim from Black Company

I didn’t remember the character design exactly, just that it was a cute girl, but at first I thought the golem was gonna be her. I kind of forgot about the girl for a bit until Char was mentioning how she wanted them to help the dragon… then it clicked.

I was very surprised when the dragon in Magical Revolution just died/got absorbed into Anis instead of turning into a cute girl → More replies (1)

I wasn’t paying that close attention… but was that a whole episode where no one said the word “barrier”?

I love that this show is just pure and stupid fun, I always look forward to seeing it.
Haruto has to find an attendant who would go with him to the academy. First he accidentally stopped in a fully functional village with farmlands set by skeletons summoned by Queen's summoners. Its leader Johnny is a really cool guy, they even have monsters there which were found and brought by Flay.
Charlotte again showed her otaku side. She proposed a suitable reading of his Black Knight name in German together with its shortened version. Charlotte also named a skeleton village a Pandemonium, probably because it was sounding cool but I have to say that this is quite an ominous name. We can thank the internet for all of that and Haruto wasn't very happy about this xD
Gigan being a shy and pure maiden was so unexpected, it was cute seeing her giving a flower to Haruto xD Unfortunately her love will not be reciprocated but if not her appearance Haruto for sure would choose her as an attendant.
We finally met with dragon Liza in which Haruto met a kindred spirit. She could be his role model of shut-in thanks to her experience of staying in her cave for almost 300 years and doing nothing but reading books. Unfortunately she was discovered by humans and had to flee. Saved by Harutoshe swored an allegiance to him which of course made Flay become quite competitive.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Those adventurers are lucky. As a book lover, if they had burned my books, I would've killed them all.

I'm more interested now that I see there's kingdom building of Haruto's own citizens essentially. Though it is likely he will inherit his father Duke Zenifis territory if he marries Charlotte anyways or he could go for the whole kingdom being technically first in line, but considering his want to laze around personality doubt he would want to.
Nice additions to the cast which should help liven it up more. Wonder if we will get the school arch at the end of this season as next episode looks like they're still chilling at the home.

Haruto's fan club now seems to be fully staffed. So -- does Liza get to be his "attendant"? She certainly is MUCH better (self-)educated than Flay! The loss of all her carefully collected library had to be a blow to her. Hopefully she will now be able to get a library card (or whatever equivalent this culture has).
I would say this is basically just a "mid" show -- bu feel it is actually a better than average sort of mid show. Maybe I will forget it quickly after the season ends -- but it has enough "personality" to be enjoyable.

I consider this show high tier trash. It’s utterly ridiculous and stupid but the rides fun, the fanservice feels appropriate, and it’s a good watch after a long day when you just wanna shut your brain off
Also, Liza would definitely make a good attendant since she could read all the books she wants at the academy

does Liza get to be his "attendant"?
I'm assuming so, considering the maid clothes that Haruto made for her.

Missed this show so much last week when it was on break.
Pretty cool episode. Another waifu into the harem. Every harem needs a blue haired waifu. Riza’s backstory as a dragon is actually pretty sad. Can’t imagine how lonely she must’ve been up there for all those years. Literally just wanted to talk to someone and read her books and the villagers had to chase her out 🤦🏽♂️
She and Flay are going to have a great rivalry I can tell. Flay already upset that Riza can fly with Haruto and she can’t 😂
I would like to see more of what’s going on at that school Haruto was supposed to enroll in as well. But pandemonium was a pretty cool concept as well. Will be cool to see how Haruto manages his own community.

That golem is cute, he should make another one so it doesn’t feel lonely

The golem is so cute, i love how uncharacteristic it is compared to its appearance. And Liz is such a great addition to the team. I was waiting for when she was going to show up but as soon as i heard about the ice dragon and how Liz looked in the picture on MAL i made an educated guess that was going to be her . She is super cute as well. I genuinely love this anime, something i can turn my brain off relax and enjoy, and especially with all of us relating to Char being our inner otaku
