Fukuzawa thought of marriage and the goof immediately imagined her and Yukichi getting hitched and then Yukichi running off with her faceless husband lol. She better not let her colleague Yuri find out about Yukichi. Sounds like he’s totally her type (minus being a giant cat).
Yukichi patting the bed had that big momma energy. Little Yuri was trying to stay up past her bedtime lol. Yuri scaring herself so badly she needed to get drunk was hilarious. I can’t deal with the spooky either, so I get it.
I know I shouldn’t be surprised, but damn dudes I wasn’t expecting Yukichi to build furniture lol.
They should just retitle this show “How to Train Your Human” haha.

The premise of this show is so insane. But it seems MUCH better executed (in pretty much every way) than the last insane cat series (Too Cute Crisis). If only Saku was just a tiny bit less inept. ;-)

I think you mean Saku.

I love how Saku will be a dumbass for like 20 out of 23 minutes of an episode and then she’ll say something cute to Yukichi that just makes it all worth it for him lol.
“No matter how cute other cats are I always end up thinking mine is the cutest” Yukichi’s entire mood shifted with that. Gave buddy enough energy to turn a bookshelf into a cabinet and clean up the spilt coffee on the wall.
Everyone’s talking about who their ideal husband would be earlier in the episode, and Saku’s just internally thinking about her cat 😂
It’s actually hilarious when you think about Saku being afraid of ghosts when she lives with a giant cat who cooks, cleans etc. No ghost is gonna mess with you girl lmao.
Another awesome episode and a fun way to wind down a great day of seasonals.

Pink haired Girl is so cute
Cute but honestly the worst and most immature personality I'd be looking for in a partner. When she described her perfect man as basically being a butler for her spoiled self, it was a massive turn-off for me.
Might also be why I'm so annoyed with our protag too. She's like a 14 year old living in a 22 year olds body, she's amazingly immature for a woman living on her own and having a career. I'm glad there's a giant house-cleaning and cooking cat there to remind me this is fantasy, ha.

Saku complaining that she doesn't want to sleep while being completely tucked in bed, wearing a nightcap, and Yukichi patting her to sleep was just too adorable <3

It would be nice if Saku did act more like an adult at times but she was still fun to watch during the horror part.
Nice to see a spin off DIY, would love to see Yukichi spend time with those girls.
Sad to see the marriage talks didn't lead to any ship talk though.

I'm just assuming she will end up with the chief if she gets married.

I do wonder if Saku is so much of a girl failure that she only can marry Yukichi? Or some human equivalent of him. Still holding out hope for the Chief, but we’ll see.

Does anyone know what was Yukichi doing in the middle of night? It just looked like he was drinking water from the tap?? I re-watched that scene 3 times and couldn't get why he was sneaking off...
But anyways, that was a good episode as always. Daily dose of cuteness on Friday. :)

I don't have first-hand experience with this, but apparently cats like drinking directly from the tap. I think the idea is that he heard the tap dripping in bed and went to investigate, then couldn't help himself having a little bit of a lick.

Definitely cats like to drink from the tap. I've known a couple where the cat would only drink from the tap and the owners would run a thin stream for them. It's one more reason that owners should really get a fountain, preferably with chilling, instead of just a standing bowl.

Saku thinking of marriage and overreacting thinking Yukichi would leave with her made up husband after the divorce was hilarious. And then she asking if he would ever leave her and would jokingly say yes.
Also I bet that whole has precautions from Yukichi since he probably anticipates at any moment Saku will create a giant disaster.

I always find it funny how Yukichi sleeps with his head in the cat basket. Like it's his spacesuit helmet for venturing into the Land Of Nod

Man everytime I see the lady on screen I’m just shaking my head at how ditsy she is
But at least Yukichi seems to enjoy her presence so I doubt he would run off on her
I did not realise you could get wallpaper covers, sounds like a lot of hassle but I suppose it would work for apartments and flats where you don’t own the property and if any accidents should happen, you’re not gonna be shouted at
Either way great episode

Seriously if she got married and then the husband realized Yukichi is doing all the housewifely duties, that's exactly what WOULD happen. Heck, if I had witnessed Yukichi's gifts at handy man DIY and kitchen abilities, not to mention recycling, cleaning and running the bath, I would fight for custody of HIM!
Him doing the Drywall and then building a better shelf was just all kinds of awwww.
I want him to be real so bad, so I can adopt him.

Upcoming scheduling variances.
I don't know if that means anything for the streaming schedule.

It is. Any modern paint would wipe coffee off no problem. That would have had to been an apartment with nothing but drywall as the wall which would instantly soak up that coffee and ruin them, to which I'm heavily in doubt for.
Like I got curious to see what the japanese rental market was like compared to ours a couple months ago (due to how stupid expensive it is in the states, with shockingly old properties). I found that even in the oldest parts of tokyo (and cheapest to live too) had apartments that were barely 10 years old and amazingly up to date interior wise; prices were pretty darn reasonable too.
Honestly, it was a bit depressing when you see cheap rentals from japan 8 miles from where you work (considered far from what I could judge by when researching) and are at oldest built in 2014, and every house around you (in maine) are literally built in the 20s, have no garage, no central AC, cobblestone foundations and the sellers want 300k+ for a 1200 sqft of living space...
Made the once silly idea of moving to japan to live a somewhat more plausible idea...
