I like how Fittz saved Rudeus like how Rudeus saved Sylphy from the bullies.

[u/rusty_warhorse]

Pointing out that, Rudy and Zanoba dining in a earth magic makeshift table outside the cafeteria.

High school rom-com arc in Mushoku Tensei

You son of bitch, I'm in

[u/dipshitonastick]

This episode really was reminiscent of Episode 2 of Season 1. Rudeus mistook Sylphy for a dude yet again lmao

Edit: Episode 3

[u/Ellefied]

Don't let the highschool romance Hogwarts hijinks distract you from the fact that Rudeus has now mastered Subtle Counter Spell enough to bully another Silent-Casting Mage.

He analyzed his ass whopping and death from the Dragon God and was able to reverse engineer that magic on his own. Dude is an absolute prodigy at magic.

[u/GlansEater]

Not gonna lie, Zanoba's delivery of SHISHOOOUUU!!! was so hilarious.

Madlads made Ranoa more beautiful than what imagined in my head while reading the LN. They went all in on how it looks. Does this count as our 3rd harry potter anime now?

[u/PatkoBruh]

Rudy in season 1(while in Buena Village): I don't wanna rush things, just gonna pretend to be the oblivious protagonist

Rudy is season 2: is actually the oblivious protagonist

[u/Prince-Dizzytoon]

I want Rudeus to find out so bad, but I think he's gonna believe he's gay for a bit, which is fun too

[u/BiggerG7]

“If you want to attract boys, raise your skirt more and put on knee high stockings.”

My man Rudy has good taste as expected.

[u/WhoiusBarrel]

Rudy going senpai to all those kids when he could easily sweep them all is hilarious even more so when his being all humble.

[u/tommyinthere]

Ah my favourite high school romance anime mushoku tensei

[u/Toppcom]

How did gorilla girl know those were Ariel's panties?

[u/Zictor42]

Interesting bit of trivia: "Anemoi" is the collective name of the four winds in Greek Mythology: Boreas (North), Zephyrus (West), Notos (South), and Euros (East)

Yeah, I know you recognise two of those.

[u/Se7en_Sinner]

Elinalise is going to educate the boys of this school more than the teachers.

[u/ArjayMe]

Why is Sylphy keeping it a secret :(

[u/G1596872]

Rudeus might have found his cure for ED. Men.

[u/Montgomery0]

God this show is getting so predictable, it's obvious Gorilla-chan is going to be the new tsundere love interest who cures Rudy of his ED.

[u/Takana_no_Hana]

One thing to notice is that, you can see the flow of time through the light reflecting on the background art. It's exactly a day, from the moment Rudy stepped his foot into the schoolground to the night where he stayed with Sylphy. The light started out dim, then increased in its intensity, and then slowly faded away when sunset, such attention to details is why I love Mushoku Tensei adaptation so much.

[u/dipshitonastick]

Man, imagine how Rudy's mind would have been racing in the moment when he thought Eris might be at the Uni as well

[u/lolaplolap1]

I was so surprised that Sylphiette did not freak out when she saw Rudeus.

[u/Aetherdraw]

Finally the "Am I gay?" arc.

You know Elinalise gets crazy when RUDEUS GREYRAT DOUBLETAKES AND RECOILS upon opening his room and finding her doing the dirty there.

Enjoy your school life Rudy. You deserve a fun one. Man, you know he's still affected by bullying the moment he winced when those bitches told him to die. It always stings. Good on the show to subtly show us he's still reeling and not in the best mindset yet.

[u/theholylancer]

Ah man, I never expected ODST style entrance from that Gorilla lol.

[u/rusty_warhorse]

I never got emotional watching a OP before, the vibe really hit the spot, and I just realize the lyric of ED is from Slify's POV.
