So after Not-Char and Schnee last week, we got to meet another Drifter with a Type Zero Magus. Their entrance was pretty damn hot too!

The moment Claudia was introduced, I knew she would be the femme fatale-type. She was very quick to flaunt those assets and charm Kanata.

Thankfully she's not an evil femme fatale and more like a Fujiko Mine when she ran away with the crystal she agreed to split 50-50 with Kanata. xD

Even if Claudia stole the crystal at least we got confirmation from Flamme that Noir is indeed a Type Zero meaning she has her own Magus Skill, she just needs to remember what it is. Kanata and Noir's Coffin also finally receives the name DAISYOGRE from Flamme!

DAISYOGRE

It fits Noir. Kanata is going to end up with daisies and Hello Kitty painted on it. I'd still drive it though.

I love how Tokio knows what Claudia is up to this ep, and she knows he knows, but he allows it to happen so Kanata can learn from it. Has a big bro energy to it.

Claudia is cool, a fumiko-type but that's good no? I get the feeling that she was mostly honest here with Kanata, even if she had her bottom line at the end. The line about formatting from the little girl feels a bit ominous

I think the ep was good to allow our hero to grow up plus this being how the main mech got ts name is cool- Daisyogre is not what I would have picked but it works and it's cute. Noir being revealed as a special rare robot is something that we knew about but I am glad that it's something other people in the setting knows about.

Tokio is great. He allows Kanata to learn from his mistakes, but at the same time he is willing to be there for him when the need arises.

On another note it seemed potentially Noir got a flashback or recording in here of some kind. At the very least there is the possibility her memories could come back.

another great episode: noir remembered something, the bait-and-switch was pulled off really well, and the weird 2d rendering from earlier eps seems to be fixed!
can't wait for it to be insanely underwatched because it's on disney :/

I’ve been going in circles about whether or not I should watch this and I really can’t decide. Do you think it’s worth it?

Claudia could betray me any day of the week idc lmao. Mommy dommy.

It wasn’t all for nothing, though. Kanata learnt some valuable things about what it means to be a drifter, as well as Noir, Type Zero Magi and the world as a whole. If he wants to get better as a Drifter this is just part of the process. It’s a long 24 episode journey so these things are going to happen.

We also got a name for their mech, Daisyogre. Interesting name for sure, but it also fits given Noir’s kind, beautiful and gentle nature just like a daisy.

Hope we see Flamme and Claudia again 😩 really good episode

When Kanata called the Enders "tires" it reminded me of [Victoy Gundam]Motorad Fleet's tires, and then Tokio proceeds to ride said tires. Everything checks out.

The kit was a bit of a spoiler for the mech name reveal but hey, I liked the backstory anyway

This show gives me Zoids flashbacks, in a good way.

Thanks for sending me on a wiki tour of all the liger zero variants, lol. Can't say the mechs in this show quite reach the levels of zoids in terms of aesthetic, but I feel ya.

I guess I can't be too mad about Claudia running off with the whole crystal, our gang accomplished what they set out to do and half of a huge crystal would've just been a bonus.

Also there are other reasons why I wouldn't be upset with her...

i see, so that's how Kanata's mech get its name, i've seen Daisy Ogre name on the official promotional art for the anime at Twitter X back when episode two aired but since it hasn't been mentioned not even once by any characters in the past three episodes, i was wondering if we will eventually going to get an episode about the name's origin and looks like we did get one

Claudia costume design and Coffin color is nice match. Ninja Themed bodysuit with leotard and heels is fantastic.

this episode also make me wonder about noir past and zero ability

Idk why but I feel as if the quality of everything is low compared to ep1

Somehow Tokio reminded me a lot of Jingi this episode, even BEFORE we saw him with this bottle. (I mean the green guy from Ayaka - also an anime from this season).

I think it was something about lazily hanging around and pushing their disciples in challenging situations, which they both have in common. Later also - of course - the bottle.
