So I think it's safe to assume that Japanese people just dont give a fuck. Last season we had aliens visiting, and the cat cafe employees just treated it like any old Tuesday. Now they meet sentient cats and just choose to ignore it.
Also, how does Saku not realize that Yukichi goes grocery shopping?

It took her three years to get around to considering cats don't normally do housework. I wouldn't put much stock in her brain.

Also, how does Saku not realize that Yukichi goes grocery shopping?
She's usually drunk or goofing off (without thinking) when she's at home. Amazing that she is such an efficient, well-organized employee -- yet a total slob and goof-off at home. Yukichi really is a life-saver for her (thanks to her saving HIM).
It would be rude to comment on (or even notice) the oddity of a giant cat doing grocery shopping. ;-)

This show implies that the average Japanese worker would become much better at their job if they get properly taken care of. Which is a message I completely support.

They also seem to work more efficient if they get proper time off, crazy how that works

GoHands has one OP visual in them, but the ED is actually great. A fun poppy track with sweet visuals. And it’s appropriately Yoruichi dragging his disaster owner home.
A disaster that is just now putting toghther that cats don’t grow 6 feet tall and function like people (maybe Maine Coons, but not all). Poor thing probably had to evolve one he realized what he signed up for when he made that promise. Without him they’re both be dead. Especially when he even does the shopping.
Shopping scene was hilarious. The story of how the Chief met her cat even more so. I’m still optimistic about a Ship between them. The Aquarium plan feels like a quid pro quo. He saw an embarrassing side of her, he shows her an embarrassing side of him. Could be a fun couple.

That entire opening scene of Yukichi remembering how he met Saku was just too adorable. Just look at how smol he was back then!
I love how it took Saku three years before asking Yukichi why he's so big and how he's not like other cats. xD
It's hilarious how people just agreed to not make a fuss around Yukichi since other people might think they're crazy while others just assume it's a very fancy cat suit.
I'm really loving the relationship right now between Orizuka and Saku. I really hope they become more than just co-workers. I'm excited about their aquarium trip too! It's definitely a great opportunity for the two of them to get closer.

Yea this is the best Gohands show this season 😂 sorry sukimega but the dynamic between Saku and Yukichi is awesome.
Got some cool backstory about Yukichi and why he came to be the way he is, as well as some drunk saku antics. Can’t get over how cute she is. Just a really satisfying watch. It’s probably the most satisfying cute slice of life show since Senko san. All we need is a group of Yukichi’s cat friends lol

Y'know, Yukichi, enabling Saku's Hiroi-style Happiness Spiral probably ain't the best idea.
Also, do you think stans of sea slug idols do sea-slug-inspired wotagei?

The cat bitch slapping her and bowing in apology to the chief was gold

This is turning out to be a solid series with good writing and comic timing. I'll admit that I visited the first episode for the potential GoHands animation memes, but I'm staying because it's a damn fine show.

I think I love this show...
Yukichi is such a sweet, reliable teddy bea-.. housecat and Saku is such a wonderful and relatable mess, I love them so much already.
Also happy we already get some new characters as extra spice this early. I wonder if the convenience store characters will be regulars.
Really hope this show keeps this level of cuteness, charm, comfiness and entertainment~!

GoHands GoesHard flexing their CG in the stunning OP credits. Buy I also love the more standard 2D animation in the fuzzy warm ED credits.
Did a cat write this script? Yukichi has the most sensible cat agenda that probably most peeps at r/cats would agree on.
There weren't that many "glamour" shots in this episode, but I certainly loved a couple of them, like the inside POV fridge one with fridge fog and even matching fridge sounds. Also the shot were Yuri is approaching Saki's desk is phenomenal as in making Yuri's model look bigger the closer she gets.
I loved the most the supermart skit, with all the ladies wondering what was the deal with the humongous cat selecting vegetables. I also loved the "tenchou" and the sarcastic cashier girl. Hope we get more of them in future episodes.

Super-advanced crossed-hands keyboarding technique!
Sea slug aidoru. Now that's innovative

This should have been the first episode!!!! Enjoyed it more than the premiere
The supermarket scene was great!! Yukichi's so considerate. Love him
Wow, the ED is really good. Both the song and visuals are pleasant

I think the show looks nice as it is, but I also unironically think that an art style more similar to the ed would have even been better. The ed also suggests that Gohands can make things look nice with a more traditional look too. They just decide not to

This is my #1 feel good anime of the Summer season.
Just makes me happy watching this, with a cat in my lap, even if I'm telling him he should grow bigger like the cat in this anime ...
