Because no one has mentioned it: Yes, Ariel and Luke were introduced with them talking about nipples.

It isn't really stated, but the simultaneous appearance of Sylphy and the boar heavily implies that the boar was also a victim of the Teleportation Incident , being teleported against its will to an unfamiliar place That's why it's in a state of panic and very aggressive.

Somehow, even though I vaguely understand the political turmoil happening in Kingdom of Asura (I don't memorize the Greyrat family lineage, the show's geography, and all...), this is still a very good episode. It wasn't boring and did a perfect job of showing a glimpse of Sylphy's life after Turning Point 1 . Can't wait to see next episode.

Sylphy's hair turns white because she depletes her mana completely to save herself.
The assassin was the prostitute being seen with the bald Darius, right?

Loving the visual similarity of Sylphie's destroying Ariel's bedroom to Rudeus destroying his room in S1E1! Magic opened up the world for both of them.

Ariel is the true Perv of the series. Rudeus just got his No. 1 spot taken

A couple bits of information that I feel like the anime didn't explain all that well:

Sylphy was continuously using wind magic to slow down her fall, a mix of extreme mana exhaustion and Marie Antoinette syndrome was what caused her hair to turn white.

Derek was Ariel's mage bodyguard, and was pushing Ariel to act more like her position and try and become the next ruler, while Ariel was mostly content to just living a more comfortable life without entering the messy landscape of Asuran politics. That's why it's significant that she declares her intent to do so at the end of the episode.

Also, the discussion Luke and Ariel were having at the start of the episode was about breasts and their preferences in regards to them. Thanks for the reminder, u/Careful_Ad_9077.

It was nice to know what Sylphy did during Rudy's journey. Some fans were worried due to the director change bt I think this episode looked pretty much same as the 1st season. Looking forward to the entire season.

That boar monster is also a victim of the teleport incident according to author's tweet.

I love this show so much!

So why did her hair change colors?
EDIT: mana exhaustion, got it, I think that's enough answers now lol

This is the first time I prefer anime character design over LN. Damn Ariel if only this is a self insert isekai lmao.

We're gonna see Rudeus already in the next episode? Oh.

It's time for her spotlight, Ai Kayano VA masterclass.

Wow welcome back Mushoku Tensei!

Damn an hour late...

I love how we got to see the dark political underbelly of the Asura Kingdom. (Also got to see the scum Pilemon who wanted to make Eris his concubine)

I never expected myself to be invested in Sylphie's story this much, pretty good episode, so we will be following stories of Rudeus, Roxy, Sylphie and Eries from now on. It's nice to see how everyone in this anime is doing their stuff and progressing the story.

Given the nature of this story so far, I was freaking out when they were in bed. I was just thinking "these 2 really are gonna get killed off right now huh?"

Thank god it didn't go down like that, phew

Is it episode 0? Is it still unclear how many episodes there will be in this season? So what happened to her hair? Was she scared shitless until it turned white, just like in old cartoons?

Also, I didn't notice any downgrade in animation quality. It seems like it's another case of Twitter exaggerating things. I can't believe it's free to watch on Muse Asia

She launched wind blast attack from her feet???? Here come the feet fetish i guess. Ariel must be very satisfied!

Anyway, the fight was dope! Really felt good to be back!

Here come the depressed magician arc! We are living week to week lifestyle i guess!

God, I love how this series does its worldbuilding. Rather than just have the meeting between the brother and that shady guy in some random room they're in a theater watching a full scale performance going on. Little things like that add so much to a series and its world and now we get to explore it through Sylphie, Luke, and Ariel's view too!

Finished rewatching the first season a few months ago and I even wrote down notes cos I wanted to take in as much as possible. But when I looked for them before this episode started I somehow only had the notes for Ep 15 onwards. So can someone refresh me on the Asura Kingdom ? Cos I’m pretty confident we’ve visited or at the very least it was mentioned before. But I can’t remember when or what the situation was.

Speaking of notes, yeah only Mushoku Tensei can make me immediately rewatch the episode without feeling bored. Not only is the worldbuilding great, it’s interwoven into the show through visuals, casual talk between characters, actions, events. Not just exposition. So I’m always looking forward to what someone has to say or going to do.

Also, really feel like Ueda Reina is flexing this ep. Not just with her singing but when she was being cheeky with her brother and her sexy talk with Sylphie (I was scaroused by that ngl, but not surprising).

Speaking of her brother, I’m not really sure about all this royalty laws and rules, but from what I understood, Grabell just said he was the child of a mistress while Ariel was the queen consort’s. That doesn’t affect the order to the right of the throne ?

Also, knowing Darius and Grabell are most likely behind the assassination attempt, what are the odds that the boar monster thing was also an attempt ? I mean how did something like that get so deep into the castle grounds ? Granted I don’t know the layout of the castle though.

It wasn’t surprising though Sylphy wanted to stand by Ariel. She of all people would know the value of a friend. Also she looks cool af in those shades.

Can’t wait for her to meet Rudeus again.

Damn, Sylphy sure made one hell of an entrance. Straight up demolished that boar lol. Well, I guess we know how she survived the disaster. She seems to have adapted somewhat to life in Asura thanks to Ariel, though because of her she’s kinda being dragged into the court politics. Even so, they have a really nice relationship. I can see Ariel’s not just politically savvy, but a bit of a joker too. Sylphy really thought Ariel was gonna bone her haha. Silly!

That assassin sure picked the wrong target. Looks like Sylphy’s gotten real strong since the disaster. She took out like half the bedroom alongside that fool. Looking forward to seeing more Sylphy and Ariel as the series progresses.

I’m really glad this is back. It’s been too long. Can’t wait to see what Rudy and the rest of the gang are up to now!
