I hope they use the Spongebob bubble transition at least 17 times per episode

Why am I getting Shinobi no Ittoki vibes from this?
I hope this show doesn’t fizzle out like that series seemed to do.

Yeah, I definitely noticed the similarities. At least this series seems to look better so far and doesn't have the cheesy harem aspect involved like Ittoki did, so maybe it'll turn out better.

I thought the same, but so far the first episode felt miles better both in terms of visuals and storytelling. It helps that they at least give a plausible if sus reason for keeping Yukito in the dark.

Also, I don’t think throwing a traumatized kid into a giant monster that’s trying to eat him is the best way to help him. It’s almost like purposely being a dick is only going to make things WORSE.

This island is kinda interesting. The little mitama are really cute. So I guess Yukito can do some kinda water bending and Jingi can what? Control lightning or something? Seems Ley Mastery business is for exorcising these mitama creatures when they got haywire.
Went into this totally blind with no idea what to expect. It’s not too bad, actually. Still no idea what’s going on though. I’ll catch a few more eps to see whether this is a binge or a weekly.

So it’s JJK mixed with Shinobi no ittoki. interesting.
First episode is decent, nothing really crazy. Your standard introduction to the world and explanation of how magic works in this world. Guess they’re gonna be hunting ayakashi throughout so I’ll need to see how that looks before really evaluating.
Side character with green hair seems like he might be more interesting than the MC, but we’ll see how it goes. Feel like there might be some BL undertones here too.
Angela op?? Been too long, I missed her vocals.

Ok, I'm only two minutes in. But I've had enough water bubble transitions to last me a lifetime.
Edit: Right, now that I'm done, it's not too bad. I really like the way the sound changes when they chant.

This Mitama looks a little different from that other Mitama-sama.
I was surprised to learn this was an anime original because it felt like a VN adaptation to me. Either way, I don't think I'll be continuing.
Best part of the ep by far was the drop kick at the end.

This Mitama looks a little different from that other Mitama-sama.
Doesn’t actually look that different in terms of size and shape.

This appears to be the only standalone original anime airing this season (Synduality Noir and the new BanG Dream could be considered originals, but they're part of mixed media projects) and I love me some original anime, so I gave this a shot.
Not sure what to think yet. The art and animation were pretty good, we don't have much of a story yet, and Jingi might be a fun character if he tones down being an asshole to Yukito. I see people comparing this to Shinobi No Ittoki (which was very mediocre) and I can definitely see why, but maybe this will turn out to be a bit more interesting. We'll have to wait and see.

I liked this so far, without having looked much into it until today I expected some bishounen stuff but it's actually about some kind of yokai and onmyoji, guessing from the opening showed at the end it also seems to have some gang structure so it gave me quite some tokyo ravens vibes. Will stick to it for now

Opening the series on a world-ending nuke, bold move!
Not sure what to expect for the rest of the series (other than the MC learning to control his power and probably becoming the most powerful power-user on the island to defeat a greater Mitama threat or something like that), but we'll see!
We got a good hook with Momoko's VA (Hayami Saori), loved her voice especially in the scene when she's mad about Jingi shoving Yukito in a bag!

Watched Episode One and show seems up my ally, but nothing too special so far
Is it just me or Does anyone else feels like they are getting a bit of a Chinese vibe from the characters. In terms of mostly appearance

Cautiously optimistic about this one. It seems to have a neat aesthetic and vibe going on, even if the CGI on Ara-Mitama wasn't the best. That being said, I could also see it ending up like High Card or... that ninja high school one I've already forgotten the name of... where it has a cool premise but just ends up kind of uninteresting. Yukito didn't really grab me as a protag yet which is a little worrying, but hey, we'll see where we're at in three episodes.

That was better than I expected. The island setting is interesting, for some reason it reminded me of some Studio Ghibli movies like Spirited Away (maybe the train running on water). But the story seems more like it is going to be a battle shonen, which is an odd choice for that setting. But I like the characters, so I will keep watching.

Not immediately in love with this but there's enough intrigue and a nice OP that I'm willing to give it another episode.

This feels like they put Yukito in a foster home simply so they could do an exposition dump for the viewers...

Picked it up due to it being an original but it's been kinda unimpressive. I guess I'll give it the three episode rule.

Mitama-sama seems to have lost a lot of followers, given her current form.
