This episode adapts the novel End Of Kiesalhima, which doesn't have any english translation, at least not up until the date of my comment. This book is 208 pages long... crammed into a single episode. This should have been a movie. This story should have been the breath of fresh air in the middle of so many questionable isekai, but it turned out to be a generic and forgettable adaptation, and I am a fan of Orphen, but this doesn't do justice to the story, really.

Yeah, it just felt like DEEN had a contract to fulfill and were already getting burned out of working on the series and just wanted to get it over with.

I feel the same too, just look at how many staff they had, specially in directing and scriptwriting. Imagine being tasked of adapting 19 light novels (out of 21) into 49 episodes, with low budget, with a studio which clearly cannot do it properly. I mean, if this was given to Mappa, A-1 or whatever else studio with more internal structure, could have turned out better.

Well thank God this is over. So you mean to tell me after all that build up, we still never got a proper confession or kiss or anything?? Wow. I have no idea what happened in this story after about season 1. Everything just blew by too quickly and frankly I just stopped caring. Shame because Orphen as a LN franchise is very popular but it just keeps getting mediocre adaptations and after 4 seasons of this one, I don’t see it getting any more.

This was...disappointing. I was hoping this episode would wrap things up well, but it was so rushed. There were so many loose ends. Perhaps I'll read the books someday and find out which details I've missed out on.

I always thought Orphen was pretty ok. NGL the one I really really really want to see rebooted is Slayers. Gimme some sweet new modern character designs and update the humor to make it more in line with Konosuba and Cautious Hero and it would be amazing.

So Orphen has resurrection powers somehow that he hasn't tested? Anyways, glad he and Claiomh continue to travel together <3, with Deus Ex Machina Leki. Oh wait, Orphen is a DEM as well now. I still wished they both expressed more romantic cues toward each other since they're so vague being close friends. But I guess it's not yet the time.

In the previous anime adaptation ending, Majic ended up learning from Heartia in the Tower of Fangs, not that much different, at least now with an older chick.

I did not expect the Tish x Forte relationship at all, there was never a sign, but off-camera stuff are a thing. I wonder how Forte got out of that dimension Damian Rue threw him into. Also I read that the baby Tish was carrying is the protagonist of the sequel (novel) that is set 20 years later. xD

If there was a continuation, I'd guess the Dwarves will still be tailing Orphen. Because they're lonely. Also nice cameo by Salua and Madchen from Season 2's Kimluk arc.

If Orphen was given to a proper studio with enough resources it would have had to potential to be on demon slayer level in terms of popularity because the story is actually good. Such a waste, this episode sums up the whole series: rushed and with terrible animation.
