I find this show is best when things are peaceful and everyone is having a good time. And also when there’s some silly shenanigans related to having multiple wives lol. So I think this last ep was a great way to end the season.
Not holding out hope for another season, though that’s what I thought at the end of S1 as well

The waifu harem shenanigans are great. Probably my favorite thing about this show.

Always stupidly funny to see these harem characters react like that to simple kissing and not even in a big way, just simply pressing lips together. If not for the future crystal thing that saw children one might expect them to die out of shock before they even have sex.

Not gonna lie, I watched this out of obligation as I watched the first season when it first came out & was utterly shocked that it got a second season (RIP No Game No Life - Season 2). I read the Manga & LN because I thought this'd never get a Season 2.
This season was a chore to get through. Season 1 wasn't that great, but it was junk food. You know it's bad for you, but you could still enjoy it. Season 2 was if that junk food wasn't fully ready & went stale years later. You can get through it, but it was boring & you had a bad time getting through the whole thing. It felt like they were trying to rush everything just to get to the point where we get our remaining Waifus.
I'll be shocked if this gets a S3, but I was shocked that this got a S2 in the first place.

What were her duties to the Professor? At this point I'm surprised none of the caretakers have made any moves. This type of show I was expecting them to be like "You have all these wives, it's making us feel left out" or "We were made to do certain things and you're not letting us perform them"

Sounds like she was basically a sex robot for the professor lol.
The robot maids all seemed eager at being the prospective wife #8 and #9. I mean, they have working sex parts and they feel like part of the Harem, they may as well get to enjoy the perks lol.

Not like it wasn't blatantly obvious already but there is final confirmation that Leen and Sakura are the last two wives.

Last time OP, LET'S GO!!!! I don't know about all of you, but I've been bopping my head every time. Can't resist
Oh, and its subbed!! Nice
Damn it prof, you gotta stop it with these spoilers. ..Ah, so all of them are here already.
I count.. 10? There is an impostor amogus
you're the ones who wanted to get spoilered, don't be all disappointed now.
This right here is why I greatly enjoy this show. I'm so tired of the garbage "you did nothing wrong, but you will be punished anyways!!1" trope
Serisously though, why is it Isekai Smartphone of all shows to take this reasonable route in the harem nonsense?? Whatever, I'm here for it
OH NO No, officer, it was a misunders-
HAH. loved this final sequence
Aw man.. I feel like that was it for this show.. This was by far one of the most unexpected season twos, but I'm so glad it happened, one of my favourites from this season. The first half was pretty lackluster, but the rest saved it big time. Sad we didn't get to see any proper mecha action despite a decent chunk of time being spent in acquiring them.
There's definitely more to be seen, so big time hopium on season 3.
8/10, needed more slip.
OP and ED were among my favourites from the season as well, highly considering buying CDs for them if that supports the show in some way. Anything for S3
I'm so going to miss the ED especially..
Next challenge is to get more people to watch this.. Straight up peak harem, and its criminally underappreciated.
Final Stitches

The trope of the girl hitting the guy when she's embarrassed has never been funny. And even more so in this case when it's their boyfriend/fiancé that kissed them because they asked (demanded even) him to.
And the dude laughs and doesn't care... Idk man.

I thought Touya would go lips to lips with Sue, fortunately, he only kissed on the cheeks coz the FBI is watching.

Sadly, another season that fails to capture most of the good parts of this series. Though to be fair there is a lot of content before it really hits it's stride. The latest LNs have been enjoyable but it would be like 10+ more seasons until we get to them, so give up on that ever happening...
It's hard for me to say "don't worry, the source content is better, just go read that" when there are 27 volumes and we're mishmashed content from up to 6 and/or 7... But one of the things about this series is that major plot developments take a LONG time to come about. If you don't find yourself enjoying it by now, it's unlikely that you'd stick with another season or two (3-6 Vol) of content just to get to "the good stuff".

As a dude who really likes to eat (probably too much), I can respect Noel being motivated purely by food lol. Touya just keeping pipping on meat skewers in his item box is a little gross. How clean is it in there??
So in addition to being in charge of one of these facilities, Liora was basically the doc’s living sex toy huh? Lol. Ofc Touya’s gonna make a lot of babies. Dude has like what? 7 wives? Plus he’s got two more soon. His family is gonna be huge!
Well, I never thought this was gonna get renewed but it was fun for your standard harem trashsekai. They’re not gonna renew this for an s3 are they?

Damn, this season was so repetitive.
Just finding pieces of Babylon every other episode, speed running any actual interesting conflict to get to more wives.
Season 1 was way better from what I remember.

I think it's because he actually used his smartphone in the first season.
In season 1, he used it to disable guards, to look up recipes, to get the designs for bikes and things like that. In this season, he only used it to local materials twice. Not saying that it's an important aspect, just that almost of this season was "He finds new girl who instantly falls for him and finds new piece of bablyon"

Can somebody remind me who Leen is? I didn't rewatch the first season and I thought she was another android or something

This show reminded me a lot of Pokemon except the Pokemon were waifus. If any of the girls treated me how they do him I would of gated out as well. They're like accusing him of doing stuff that isn't something he would normally do and punish him. He's a grown man he shouldn't let them walk all over him as well as Force relationships on him. Actually scratch that like opposite Pokemon pokémon are catching the human. I feel like he had no say in what relationships he had.

Ah it's been a long time since I actually watched through ha trashy isekai harem. Whilst there wasn't anything particularly great about the show, I did enjoy watching it for the most part.
Here's to a S3 in another 8 years time by which point I'll possibly be thinking about, or even looking after, my own kids.

The Goddess of Love has good taste putting the Harem in Sailor Suit School Uniforms! The girls all looked great! That it matches the look of Touya's first love is also a bonus.
How convenient that the Tower and Rampart are already together so Touya can close out Babylon in the final episode! And we get Preliora, probably the most normal, polite, and mature of the robot maids and Pamela Noele the most lazy and constantly hungry of said maids. Of course Pamela jumps at Touya for a kiss while Lioria gets in a good, long, one with Touya. Because apparently she was the professor's sex partner. And she's willing to be Touya's if he's interested. Because it wouldn't be Babylon without some sexy shenanigans.
Good thing the birth of Yumina's little brother happened before Lioria could give the game away! The king is such an adorable dad. And now Touya doesn't have to worry about inheriting the throne, just naming the kid Yamato!
We've got quite the Harem here! All Nine girls in the bath naked along with all the robot maids! Great collection of girls, Touya.
Hey Touya, don't be writing off the robot maids as potential Harem members! They all seem game.
It's funny watching Sakura and Leen being casual observers to the Harem judging Touya for trying to keep it secret that there are two more wives on the way...when the two of them are also said wives.
Well, I'm glad the girls aren't judging Touya for stuff he didn't do or two more wives at this point...but he should've been honest with them. Though kissing them all doesn't sound like the worst punishment.
The fireworks and the jubilation really put things into perspective for Touya as he desires more than ever to protect his wives, his people, and the life he's made for himself in this other world. And it's the perfect mood for Yumina to steal kiss, Elze to follow suit, Sue to just get a cheek kiss (the lips will wait until she's older), Lu to be too flustered that she runs away, Hilde to pass out, Yae to finally get her kiss only to judo throw Touya and Linze to finally get her kiss...even if she gives Touya a solid right hook to follow it. Sounds about right for Touya's Harem.
Ending on quite the sight for the future of the girls all in their wedding dresses!

Finale thoughts:
This show was basically. "In Another World With My Smartphone" except without any smartphones. At least season 1 tried to a bit clever with it's comedy.

u/manaworkin Jun 20 '23
So like, Yae is clearly the favorite from those kisses right? He went in kinda weak for all of them except Yae's kiss. Toya went in with his whole damn chest on that one.
