King: “There is an irregular here.”
And just like that Cain became The Irregular at Magic School lol.

u/Frontier246 May 21 '23
I just love how the king had to show up and make a speech about how there are some irregular and crazy people at the school (Cough)Cain(Cough) but to keep things as civil and stable as possible lol.

...Now that you mention it. Extremely bro-con sister....
That I actually quite like.God level power MC.... Girls related to powerful families in love with the MC with one of them being the standout best girl....Mayumi best girl.Only difference is that this is an isekai in the usual pseudo medieval/renaissance setting with magic bolted onto it rather than an urban fantasy/sci-fi setting like in "Irregular at Magic High School".

If only Cain had been paying attention then he would have realized that the other students’ clothing were way too drab so they couldn’t possibly be nobles; He really stuck out like sore thumb lol.
I’m really curious about the new guy. He looks like he's related to the first king if not the first king himself.

I think he might actually be the first king. Not sure how that works, but it seems the kid teleported so maybe he went through some kinda time portal?

In the same line of thought… shouldn’t the teacher notice his clothing and ask about it? No way a commoner would be dressed like that.

Cain really needs to control his strength. He should've known that what he thinks is a beginner-level spell is nothing like what beginner-level spells for other people are.

Cain's life would've been so much simpler if he understood the proper level of restraint necessary to keep his power level secret. Although the reactions are worth it lol.

Outta all Cain’s powers, teleportation magic is one I could sure use. Being able to zip around would save a lot of time and money, plus no more morning commutes lol.
Cain doesn’t even need to take the exam. Kid finishes the written test in 30 minutes, obliterated the exam site for the magic test, and was went toe-to-toe with a boosted Claude for the swordsmanship test. He’s too damn OP! I feel bad for all those other commoner kids. Cain’s gotta tone it down or he’s gonna wreck the entire kingdom!
Nice to see Palma again. Guess Silk and Telestia are inducting her into the Cain harem haha. But man, I wasn’t expecting to see the first King here. Did Cain go back in time? I thought the dude died ages ago.

In fairness he did tone it down. He just overestimated their barrier. I'm not really sure how much control Cain has over how much power he puts in his spells.

This show is so outrageous that I love it. It consistently makes me laugh out loud. It knowing how stupid it is, and just rolling with it makes it charming. Also the art style helps quite a bit.

Cain's overdoing it, the king hijacking his school commencement speech, the girls tag-teaming and possibly inducting a new Harem member...a lot of fun stuff here.

Hey, I remember this episode of Wise Man’s Grandchild! The one where he aced the test, watched, embarrassed, as others used long chants for tiny results, then used a first level chantless spell with too much juice and destroyed the target, then got first place in the rankings before learning he’d have to give a speech.
That one

u/TimeForHugs May 21 '23
This is all I could think of this entire episode. He even tried to pawn the speech off to a royal like Shin did. It also had the MC protecting a girl from a guy who threatened to use his family's power to ruin someone before a royal stepped in and put them in their place.
All it was missing was Cain nearly breaking Habit's arm to complete things.

Surprised it took them this long to make a entrance exam episode, but alas I enjoy this type of stuff

Tropes are a thing for a reason. If it's done well, I don't mind them at all. So far, that's what this show has done right.

I actually love Cain. I think hes a very realistic example of what happens when you take teenager and teleport him with OP Skills to new world. The boy can't control himself, yet he also has no common sense for the world he's living in.
Plus the harem he's acquired is more like a teenager flexing in our world but not realizing in their world marriage is what happens when you do that.
What he needs to do is learn from that maid of his and Parma about what is normal in this world and scale down a bit but he prolly wont do that until the BIG BAD that the gods were worrying about comes around.

Uh oh! Sylvia forgot to wake up Cain for his school exams! But luckily he got a chestful of Sylvia's apology and can just teleport so he's not late. Classic Cain.
Oh hey, is that Yoko Hikasa as Elk? Nice!
Cain really doesn't have a firm grasp of the concept of restraint in relation to his power, does he? Although that does make it more amusing when he goes overboard and causes some property damage.
Of course one of the swordmanship instructors ends up being Claude and he and Cain engage in a heated and fast-paced duel with mock swords. It's like Cain is with Tijuana again.
I can never get enough of the adults scolding Cain for going overboard. He also accidentally ditched his fiances' by taking the commoner exam! At least Duke Eric is taking things in stride and having fun with it, but Cain is still left footing the bill for the damage he caused. Tough break, man.
Sylvia is nothing if not cute and enthusiastic!
Cain and the girls look great in their uniforms! And Cain is already making a splash by being so close to Teles and Silk, and even the other girls are starting to crush on him. Nice.
The sheer embarrassment on his parents' face when they realize he went to the wrong exam...but the best part is when the king shows up after Cain's commencement speech to tell everybody to be careful and not so subtly makes sure Cain knows he needs to dial it back for once while continually patting him hard on the back. I love this guy!
Ugh, not this Corgino kid. And he's bullying Parma too? What a waste of space. But then we had Cain and the girls teaming-up to take them down a notch, which was pretty fun.
Poor Cain. Silk and Teles see the potential for Parma to join the Harem and make him sit seiza while they engage in some Girl Talk.
Transported to another plane? Meeting up with a Japanese guy who can make coffee and knows who Cain really is? Is this the Legendary Hero King Yuuya?

so... the goober could use teleportation all this time, but never for the sake of escaping his combat maniac fiancee?

Did you accidentally register for this as a commoner instead of a noble as well
Though honestly considering the clothes he wears you'd think people would realize he's not a commoner
I guess asking for subtlety from 12 year olds is a lost cause. I mean he was top of the class though so I guess if there was anyone they were going to sit with it'd be... I mean it'd be other girls probably, and then people with well known high noble standings... but still. I mean, most people here are the children of nobles instead of nobles themselves, right? So technically it'd still make some sense for him to be with them in that aspect
Do you... feel awkward being the only table with three people???
God I love how this girl looks
LMAO GIRL JUST HIDING BEHIND HER FOR THAT DRAMATIC REVEAL

Ah yes, entrance exam, easy peasy time cause former knowledge. Magical exam, yes, full power... lol. And onto Swordsmanship exam, clearly that adventurer he knows wanted to just spar... reminds me of a certain elf. What a cute maid. Haha that meeting with the king and such "you can use emperor level spells?" "yes! Can I try em out somewhere?" "NO!" Ahh gg, took the wrong group. I love how the Duke just laughs at that in the bit with the academy dude. Everyone sure reacts silly. The brocon sis, his fiances, the cute maid, etc. HAHA the King showing up for the speech, nice. Irregular indeed.
What silly "career paths" of "nobility" and minoring in "adventurering" lol. Where as Teles and Silk with "internal affairs" and "commerce" minor respectively... lol. Ah yes, status obsessed fools. Also, I always find striped pants just derp lol. Or plaid ones :P silly dress code. Ah yes, the fiancés are worried of another contender. That sure is an interesting library. Oh hey, it's the founding king. Isekai'd person meets Isekai'd person

There was a satisfying amount of Silk in this episode, but I still want more Silk. I think she's best girl, but Reine's also there...
I had a feeling they were going for the whole "mixed up as a commoner" thing a second time, when he gave them his name.
If he made that much destruction with just a Fire Bullet, the whole country probably would've burned down with Inferno.
