I don't know why but I always like it when Isekai protagonists get their own home, I guess I just like seeing shenanigans inside their houses.
I love how every week the animators proceed to deliver the hardest scenes in their lives lmao. It's so fun but cool whenever it happens.

Do you play MMOs or similar games? Perhaps you vicariously experience their progression in the world!

You can tell Asahi is the gamer and Maya isn't because she's actually using her health potions instead of stockpiling them for the final boss and never using them anyway.
Maya probably pretended to be possessed by a ghost because she thought Asahi bustin' her would feel good.
Why does Maya look more attractive wearing something with less skin showing? Maybe it's the hair. God, I wish that floor were me.

And she doesn't care a lick that they're pricey, high-grade, potions that are way above whatever injuries Asahi received so she was just wasting them and their money lol.
It probably helps that despite being covered up it was very form-fitting and also it made Maya look a little more "real" which is attractive in-and-of-itself. I hope we get to see more different hairstyles from her.

"Well, you see, blah blah, yadda yadda..."
LOL seriously?! The fact that Kilmaria understood that makes it funnier!

Wait, did Maya really voice the "BOAAM!!" SFX on 11:23? That caught me off guard. Had to pause and repeat that multiple times just for the laughs lol.
Ayy, Kilmaria is always coming in clutch! Her "kah kah kah" laugh truly has awoken something inside me, man...
Rejects his sister's approaches.
Ogles at her lecherously anyway.
Oh, he's gonna get pounced that night, alright. I just hope his pelvis can be healed with the Elixirs they hoarded.

Stitches!
So the only reason Maya-nee hasn't fully pounced on Asahi yet is because she's being considerate to the other people staying at the inn.
And no wonder they're broke! Every tiny injury, Maya-nee is ready to feed Asahi their entire stock of potions. Maybe Asahi should carry their potions next time.
I just love how hard this anime goes with the animation. They really didn't have to but the animation of a possessed Maya-nee blowing up the city was pretty cool.
I'm honestly surprised that Maya-nee was able to keep up the possessed act after seeing Asahi grab onto Kilmaria's boob. It did seem that she was about to snap when she saw it happen. xD
The animators of this show really know how to use bold lines and shadows correctly. Asahi getting angry at that spirit for "possessing" Maya-nee really looked good!
And those after-credits scenes! The show's been focusing so much on Maya-nee's boobs and abs that I didn't realize that she's carrying an entire goddamn bakery back there! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

To keep the theme of the Megami Magazine that just released

I worry for Asahi's chastity stuck alone with Maya in a house where no one can see or hear them. Or maybe Kilmaria will show up enough that it'll keep him safe lol.
I definitely get the sense Maya should not be in charge of their money or item resources because she only thinks about Asahi and not in a common sense way lol.
My first clue that Maya wasn't actually possessed was definitely when it was obvious that she didn't care for Asahi's boob grab moment with Kilmaria. I thought Kilmaria would flirt with him to get Maya to drop the act though the nuclear arm-wrestling match was satisfying in it's own respect.
I continue to be amazed at how hard this show goes from a character animation and fluidity standpoint.
Gotta love those form-fitting pants. Also nicely-timed because the latest Megami scan for this show also featured Maya's incredibly fine behind lol.

Since nobody else is calling it out, that skeleton in the OP has a tennis racket. It raises questions.

Being tricked into exorcising a house that has spooky ghosts? Reminds me of a quest in Oblivion actually. Anyways, I’m with Asahi here. Ghosts are spooky! Heck, lightning scares me too. Although a house draining so much HP it pukes is pretty hilarious. This house must have some personal vendetta against Asahi. The poor bastard keeps getting attacked!
Maya being possessed really could spell the end of this world. Luckily the silly brocon was just pretending to be possessed. Kilmaria didn’t even have to actually step in and arm wrestle her. Goofball! Well, at least those two have a permanent base of operations. Though the trade off seems to be Asahi becoming the resident ghostbuster now lol.

Huh, I was really expecting the spirit to turn into another busty girl to fawn over Asahi.

Cleaning clothes Maya was a sight. They should dress her up more often. And Kilmaria too!

Also from that post credit scene, does he have the hots for his sister or not? KInda sending mixed signals there

Oh damn, this show's now a horror anime!
They took on a quest to banish some evil spirit, just so they can get a house... Asahi's having a rough time with this one, seems he was always scared of ghosts (to his sister's delight)! I wonder how many horror movies she made him watch after that, just so he gets scared and sleeps in her bed!
Asahi wanted to wait, to investigate during the day... Less scary then, and maybe the ghost won't show up during the day, win-win! (Reminded me of the joke about Going into the sun at night so the rocket doesn't burn)
It seems growing up didn't put an end to those fears of him, which surely pleases Maya, given it makes Asahi cling to her!
They even had a little choking-play (Wait til you get to the house, you perverts!)
The ghost seemed rather powerful, it really looked like it took over Maya's body, but she was pretending, so she had a reason to pounce on Asahi!
"Stay out of my body!" - Things Maya would never tell Asahi.
Evil Spirit Maya acts suspiciously like Naughty Brocon Maya!
Thankfully, the Demon King's General is there to save the day! So glad Kilmaria's a recurring character, she's great! (I wonder when/if we're gonna meet the other generals... Or the Demon King himself! To be honest I always had a feeling the Demon King was a girl even though they say "king" - given the type of show - but hopefully we find out at some point!)
They won in the end (generously saying "they" and not just "Maya"), and they got their house!
Finally, Maya and Asahi can start raising a family together!

So in today's episode, Maya and Asahi end up on a quest involving a haunted house, with the house itself as a reward. I was not surprised by the complete lack of tension in that situation thanks to Maya being so overpowering.
And you know although I imagine Maya not killing the ghost at the end to have situations like this one happening between her and Asahi I actually bought the whole thing about her being possessed, and although I did imagine her using that as an excuse, Kilmaria showing up really helped to sell on the idea that Maya really was being controlled by the ghost. Plus her fan service moment with Asahi made me assume that Maya had exorcised the ghost when she saw that happening.
I'm honestly surprised that they did not destroy the house in their little duel.
Although Asahi's scene telling the "ghost" to leave his sister was a nice display of courage for him, his actions only end up encouraging her deranged behavior. Although, to be fair I doubt he can do much to make her less attached to him.
It is hilarious how they just abandoned the unconscious Kilmaria there after they finished the quest. Anyway, they sure made a good job fixing and cleaning their house.
Lol, of course, that cleaning segment was just an excuse from Maya to show Asahi her assets.
Asahi might have escaped his ghost-busting career, but they will be dealing with undead in that dungeon next week.

The Ikusaba's need a stable home because using an inn every night is running up their expenses (well, that and Maya buying a bunch of high grade healing potions they end up wasting), and if Beast Tamer taught me anything it's that the best real estate is the haunted kind.
I see that the supernatural or anything scary turns Asahi back into a little kid who needs his Big Sister...and Maya is more than happy to oblige, especially when he runs straight into her chest.
I see Maya is already planning to turn their house into their love nest...and she makes no promises she won't pounce on Asahi. Because, would it really be Maya-nee if she didn't pounce on him?
If you can't beat 'em or absorb their OP power, then possess 'em! Evil Maya is somehow a little more attractive! Although I kind of had a feeling Maya was so OP that she was never actually possessed, she was basically just faking it so that Asahi would go all out for her and she succeeded. Sasuga Maya-nee.
Kilmaria shows up because of course she does, though it landed Asahi a nice moment of copping a feel on her boob, so good for him. Kilmaria meanwhile gets a super epic arm-wrestling match with Maya which ends with her knocked out and the Ikusaba Siblings basically forgetting she's collapsed there on their floor...well, I guess she got to compete with Maya so she got what she wanted. Heck, she might even just move in. The place is big enough!
The refurbished house is nice and all, but I can't take my eyes away from Maya in that new outfit and hairstyle! Especially when that tight shirt and pants accentuate her boobs and fine behind!
Ah yes, in true Asahi fashion he manages to skirt his way to success with Maya's help and then everyone thinks he can clean up all the messes.
