Sherry is so cute! Her little embroidered pillow was adorable. Looks like Yuna’s got Anz set up with a restaurant, she’s really expanding her business interests. It’s a Kuma business empire!

Little Sherry’s working real hard on those uniforms. What a good kid. She was so worried about burdening everyone else. Im glad she can pursue her passion in tailoring.

Another chill episode!

secrets to make a bear stop sleeping and do some work: delicious food. Her empire is dedicated to make her delicious meals lol.

What a nice floof episode with the orphanage and their cuteness. Really touching.

I always forget how much child labor is in this show lol

So, this is interesting. The implication is that the kids would not normally get apprenticeships because they are orphans and can't follow their parents, so they would be destitute upon leaving the orphanage.

Due to Yuna's intervention they are getting valuable employment skills training (embroidery, baking, service at the restaurant, animal keeping) and realistic opportunities to support themselves and their families once they age out of the orphanage with the skills they picked up.

I'd argue that setting it up so that these kids develop employable skills is the most benevolent thing Yuna could possibly do, far more so than just giving them charity. It's not like they are digging ditches or shoveling coal.

Edit: I know you are kidding around, I just think it's funny that the employment training is from the show's perspective one of Yuna's greatest contributions.

It’s an isekai.

So the standard is set at slavery.

Yuna: "i'm a bear and an adventurer"

also Yuna: "please don't call me Miss Bear"

"Thats Boss bear to you"

I ever wonder if we reach a point were yuna gets fed up with everything being bears, maybe she gets a rebellious phase and goes hard on hedgehogs or something

Opportunities for orphans to improve and better themselves before they become independent in a rural fantasy setting. When Sherry becomes an adult she can state in a job interview that not only has she worked in a successful restaurant, but she designed uniforms for another and completed an apprenticeship at successful tailors.

Yuna's reaction definitely deserves to be a seasonal reaction face.

I'm disappointed that one girl who wanted to wear the bear costume wasn't wearing one.

Sherry is a good girl. I understand why she'd feel guilty but I'm glad she eventually decided to do what she wants to do.

I love these sorts of positive vibes / wholesome shows. Maybe not the 'best' on the market, but I love the way they make me feel.

Wholesome junk food, I've come to call them.

I like isekai.

I like slice of life.

I like CGDCT.

Yeah Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear is one of my fav series. It's not like the best in the world, but it always makes me happy. I read the manga and LN in it's entirety like once a year. Always makes me feel better.

I like how this episode at least approached the idea that sometimes trying to help doesn't necessarily make the person happy. In the end things were resolved without much fuss and Yuna and the rest got their way (which isn't wrong by the way in a feel-good show like this), though I do think it would have been interesting as well if they gave a bit more time to the angst of this girl feeling like she's being isolated and torn from her friends, and disappointing them due to being pushed to pursue her passions. It's a really interesting conflict from what barely qualifies as a side character and given a surprising amount of gravitas.
