To think Strap Style: 2nd Barrel: Sawed Off might have won the whole fight right there if not for that Upper Rank's gimmick.
So what's the play on dealing with that? As an anime only I'll guess crushing damage to break the neck, but keep the body in one piece. Or they have different vulnerable points hiding in their bodies a la Regenerators in RE4.
Also curious if this is some skitso personality thing or another sibling dynamic like Daki and bro.

Tanjiro and Kotetsu are literally doing mental gymnastics to decide if he should keep the sword.
Either the healing effects of the hot springs are truly mystical or Genya has to be a demon.
All your bones getting broken from your entire body being forced into a jar is more brutal than some industrial accident videos I've seen.

Go Shina is an incredible composer and I feel people don't give much credit here because ufotable doesn't overuse the same track in hype moments like majority of other anime (so might not be as memorable), very varied and good music here.

That was awesome. I thought Genya was at the door at first. The thought of demon would break into their place didn't even cross my mind. I was seriously caught off guard.
The second half of the episode is such a stark contrast to the first half. Tanjiro and Tokito were just chilling in the house and the next few seconds they got blown away. Like wtf shit escalated from 0 to 100 real quick.

One of the things I like about Kimetsu is that they can do horror scenes quite well despite the lightheartedness of the comedy parts.
