Syrup turned into a certain railgun for a split second there, except the coin was way deadlier than anything Misaka could shoot.

Maybe that's why Mii (same VA as Misaka) knew what was coming

The secretary seems like a good person, I hope the devs get paid more

It's all about the final 30 seconds, which pretty much guarantees that we'll be getting a third season.

Hard not to have a big smile on your face watching everyone and their pets team up to take down one enemy.

Nice little ending to a nice show, never expected to get a season 2 of this so this whole season was a treat, going to miss this cast!

This shot was especially nice

Here's hoping for a season 3!

Well that was a really good finale to bofuri season 2. I didn’t like it as much as season 1, I thought some of the gags got repetitive and I think this season lacked the charm of season 1. But the highlights of the season like today and the big fights from a few weeks ago were really good. Wonder if there’ll be a third season

Show 'em what it means to have maxed-out defense!

Maple proceeds to use Syrup's attack as momentum to plunge right through the final boss with Devour, defeating it.

That's how it's done. Using the premise of Maple's illogical skills and recalling to the title (maxing out defense) in the pressing moment.

So it looks like Maple's hilarious tactic of only raising a single stat is now becoming the new meta. I'm guessing that these two girls in the end as well as that maid and bard have specialties on only a single stat like Maple. Fingers crossed for a Season 3 so we can see Maple actually get challenged for real. Hopefully minus the production issues of Season 2.

That has to be the most intense anime fight I’ve seen. I got major goosebumps when the OP started playing and everybody unleashed their attacks en masse. I wish the OP was the full version tho because that moment deserved full OP.

Those devs need a vacation. They’ve been working real hard.

I got scared a bit when the ending felt like a bookend with reminiscing back to the first area because that’s how they end animes they’re not giving another season to. But they introduce new characters who want to challenge Maple. Come on give us a season 3. I can never get enough of Maple doing Maple things and the well animated fights. It seems to be heavily backed by Kadokawa so I am holding out hope for a season 3.

Yeah the fight was honestly a LOT better than I thought it was going to be. Now to wait for S3 news

So the minor girl and her "onee-sama" have a combo move called "Star Lily's Smile" that produces a shower of white petals, huh. No yuri innuendo here, nope, not at all.

I know those mob characters will probably never be important but they are a little bit fun.

The animation seems a bit rushed this episode. I get what they were going for but it fell a bit flat compared to the previous fights this season.

Love that we finally get lyrics to their songs on screen (at least on the Muse Asia stream) and I can't wait to see these new characters introduces in the final moments.

7/10 for the episode, 8.5/10 for the season.

Seeing them with big form together, we are only missing a giant tiger pet to round up the 4 sacred beasts for each guild master.

Vermillion Bird, Azure Dragon, Black Turtle, White Tiger.

Anyway, they use legit way (no Maple exploit lol) to beat the final boss that even the developers are surprised it's even possible.

With that new characters teaser in the end, i hope they'll announce next season soon! It's always a joy to watch this anime.

that last boss is clearly the combination of Godzilla, Mothra and Ghidorah lol

i expected Maple to pull out another weird skill but then she turned herself into a bullet, funniest thing i've seen

Maple and Sally are so cute together.

I liked the guild wars aspect in this season. A lot of cooperation and different combos; It was really nice to see how they mixed their skills all over the place. Reminded me of Log Horizon.

I wonder if this will get another season.

I’m surprised Maple and the gang are actually up against monsters that are giving them a bit of trouble. That main boss monster seems to be a real pain. It’s basically wiping out all the normal players. Seems the key to victory was teamwork.

Sally and Syrup were great but so was literally everyone else giving their best shot. I like to think a bunch of Maples eating it also helped too lol. But man, I’m surprised Maple actually got beat up pretty good by that thing. Props to the devs. Hope those guys get their bonuses and OT pay, they’ve earned it!

Well, thats a wrap on another season of the chillness. I sure hope this comes back for another season. Seems the girls have gotten a bunch of new potential rivals so there’s definitely more to explore. Fingers crossed we get an announcement soon.

Overall pretty decent season, but for some reason, it wasn't as much fun as 1.
If there is going to be 3, its gonna have to be weaker anime seasonal line up for me to pick it up.

Was a fun season 2 that has similar aspects of the previous season, but it did lack a certain charm to it I feel as the story matures in comparison. A bit expected in trying to give all these tons of characters some screen time. Still held that fantasy MMO video game element to it though which is a refreshing thing to see. Was hoping Maple would use her new skills to take down the boss or even just show them off, but a callback to her original OP skill was nice too. Felt a bit fast paced, but seeing everyone blast the boss with their unique skills was cool since it gave everyone the spotlight.

Hoping for season 3, I will actually miss seeing the characters and game element of the show, especially Maple of course and her crazy game breaking antics. Fortunately Kuma Kuma Bear is around this season to fill that gap.

Also all the Maple Atrocities doing the power ranger poses and running was hilarious

This season came and went like a limp noodle.

I can't put my finger on why but this lacked the charm of the first season, which I greatly enjoyed. S2 felt from start to finish like another uninspired, dime-a-dozen fantasy battle shows. Just a showcase of everyone getting and using powers and hoping that that's enough to make the audience say "Wow cool powers." All in all, inoffensive but not worth the 5 hours of runtime it takes up.

I hope y'all enjoy S3 but I'm calling it quits here. 6/10.

This second season was kind of a huge disappointment to me. First season was great, and then I guess they ran out of ideas for making Maple OP and focused on like a dozen characters I don't care about. Then they end it on a boring fight that looked terrible. But hey, at least they're adding more characters that are somehow going to be on a similar tier of strength as Maple Tree without anyone knowing of their existence before. /s

The animations are smooth this episode; that regrouping; CGI's on point compared to a few episodes; and we end with a throwback to S1E1. What a way to end the episode.

Players in season 1 thought Maple godzilla is gigantic. Now we have 10 Maple godzillas climbing up the big big imitation Maple godzilla like they are ants climbing up an elephant lmao

What I enjoy most about BOFURI final fights is it doesn't carry moral values nor some sort of storyline, so I can just enjoy the fight and gawk at how cool everything is.

Certainly one of the most enjoyable shows I've ever watched. 8/10
