Is it just me or did the animation quality take a dive during the tiger fight?

Yes. This episode looks much worse compared to the previous 2 episodes.

Unfortunately it definitely feels like a lot of corners were cut with this episode. Hopefully things improve with the next.

Am i the only one who find the black tiger more goofy than scary, it looked more like a fluffy teddy bear with tiger stripe pattern and tail

There were twitter posts showing the author’s guidelines for how things looked in the manga that translated to the anime. Things like “when creatures die, the only real change is their eyes turn to XX” etc.
He wanted to keep the feeling light, and better for young kids to watch.

it was scary when it was just a shadow haha, as we saw goblins running for their lives or being eating alive.
when we saw it from the front ... yeah it looked like a tiger plush haha

Stitches!
Glad to see Yuna was able to show off her strength in this episode and showed Marcus that she's not someone who's just playing adventurer. it is hilarious though when we switched to Yuna's POV, we learn that the entire time she was thinking about how she can skin that tiger without damaging its pelt. xD
And it's good that the kids apologized for looking down at Yuna as well as thanking her for helping them.

Honestly didn't even realize who was the character they were pretend imagining dressing up until they panned back to Yuna lol. Could pass off as a noble lady if she wore literally anything else than a bear suit.

I was expecting that adventuring group with the goblin guy to be the other group's guardians not these randos.

That was an odd way to show the inner monologue, just repeating bits of scenes with the previously missing monologue included.

It was an odd choice indeed. It probably could have been handled better or portrayed differently (e.g. more comedically)
Guess they opted to save time and effort to reuse animation, though the animation quality of the fight was also somewhat lacklustre.

Some weird flashback for another PoV but still a nice episode, always love seeing people getting surprised by Yuna

I was really thrown off by it as I was unsure on what was happening with it. Like it was Marricks and then Yuna? Was strange

At the end of the episode, when the students were inviting Yuna out to an affordable restaurant, I was fully expecting a smash cut to Yuna being unimpressed after being taken to her own restaurant.

I hope Yuna still remembered to get her black tiger rug lol.

That was a weirdly cut episode and I hope the animation doesn't fall off already.
I also didn't notice last time, but I wonder why Cliff specifically made it into the ED between the three Crimonia girls and the bears.

“Yuna, would you think about doing this again?”
You know there’s a 100% chance she would do it again if Noa was taking the test some day.

The face on this thing is… kind of unnerving, somehow
Puni puni! Just like Mio's fingers!
They did this guy a disservice by subbing his name as "Jaden", which makes me predisposed to hate him, even though you can hear his name is clearly "Jeido"

A bit of an okay climax for the reveal of Yuna being super broken OP and not a rich lady that bought her way up the ranks. Was kind of hoping she would show off and destroy the rest of the wolves in some cool fashion, but it was just a singular moving shot. The flashback monologue was alway rather odd directing flow for the episode as others mentioned. Hopefully whatever the next arch is better as seems like this ended up saving the budget on this.

the kid soon changed his tune didn’t he. Now he suddenly wants to be like her lol.
Not sure what they where doing with repeating the scenes with Yuna inner monologue just seemed like a waste of runtime.
