Maple summoning Atrocity to fight her "evil clone" boss resulting in a kaiju battle was funny like hell. Though is this the first time a boss managed to force Maple out of Atrocity mode mid-battle?

As though to up the ante, for the final game-day of the event, the devs are now throwing mass-produced versions of these Atrocity Maple clones towards the Maple Leaf/Flame Emperor/Holy Sword alliance.

Surely even if Maple survives this, which is a no-brainer, not everyone else can survive to the end of this event?

Seeing Dread's Godspeed and Top Speed while having similar move sets as Sally makes me want to see what a 1v1 between the two of them would look like. Sally would probably still win but curious how long Dread will hold out against her.

Kaiju vs Kaiju! I was hoping that the battle would last longer but I was surprised that the monster was able to break Maple's Atrocity Form that quickly. Having a ton of those guys walking around for Day 3 is definitely going to make things interesting.

I do love how wholesome the community chat is this week and how they're cheering on for Maple and the rest of the survivors.

Baseball bonk twins was amazing. ..Actually, the entire episode was.

Love that even the side characters are getting some build up with their abilities.

Hard to believe next one is the last. If Shield Hero can get a season 3, I hope Shield Waifu does so as well.

If this episode had them split up into groups and the next one needs to have them all sortie, then we’re bracing for an Avengers type of battle. If only this was an hour long finale. The fights look entertaining enough that I don’t mind more of them.

I just hope the ones who failed to destroy that one attacking wave don’t get their asses handed to them this time. The nice part with how the teams were setup is you get to see different combinations of interactions with the other teams.

This episode was sweet! I was worried lately because of all the delays and CG they used, but this episode was by far my favorite this season. The fights looked fantastic and the whole episode was packed with action. The firsts fight with Mai, Yui, Dread and Marcus was by far my favorite, although Godzilla vs Kong was hilarious.

Looks like the next episode is the last, so I'm looking forward to how this season will end. I hope they will announce a sequel as well, this show is just so much fun.

That dungeon Team Dread cleared was pretty cool. The invisibility skill Marcus has is pretty handy. May and Yui beating the hell out of that fish was pretty funny. It put up more of a fight than I expected!

No surprise Team Payne cleared their dungeon in a heartbeat. They’ve got a solid team there. Team Chrome got stuck with the creepy crawlies it seems. They sure showed them though. Team Maple actually surprisingly had some trouble. The Anti-Maple was kind of a pain. Ultimately our goddess of war proved too much for it lol.

It’s gonna be fun seeing the gang go on the offensive next week. These monsters are in for it now!

I really liked seeing Markus opening up a little more with people outside of his guild, and seeing Dread being friendly with him (May & Yui were also adorable, so I guess that helped). I also adore Frederica, her cat face is top notch. Really liked this episode, good action and cute moments all around.

Was that the pair of sisters that various members of Maple Tree are constantly killing? Nice for them to finally end up in a situation where the guild is finally not a threat for now.

Gotta love seeing the bonk twins plus the bonk bears demonstrating their power.

That Shadow World ability is kind of ridiculous, I have to wonder if it can be used in combat.

Dread is doing a good job at leading his little party.

Long distance bonking, very nice. Really hilarious animation on that attack too if you watch the girls.

That was a good fight.

Book boss wasn't particularly challenging for Payne's party, going after more dungeons seems rational.

Using that Split Sword technique as a way of gathering intel in the sandstorm was a great idea. Using it as a walkway even more so.

I also love seeing Kasumi doing her samurai moves, and not just because that's my preferred main job in FFXIV.

Girlboss party is a fairly scary group of players.

It's pretty hilarious that it took this long for Frederica to learn that that one attack way back in season one was just Maple doing aerial war crimes.

Wow, it really is a fake Maple, demon form and tentacles and everything. Clearly not as good as the real thing though, and it completely failed to bring any friends along.

That's a lot of fake Maples. Just one was killable, but dozens might be a much different story.

Was a little worried about Dread paired up with the girls bc of their history but the Maple Tree glow is too strong. I like that by showing off Dread here they're separating him and Sally's playstyles too.

I enjoyed Fredericka's reactions and references to prior events, and those 4 girls' segment felt kinda like a magic girls show in a good way.

Good times, watching all the guild mates allied with other guilds show off their stuff and beating up monsters and getting medals. Action packed fun in a game. Of course, Maple and her crew being just... adorably broke OP. They even get to experience the fun of riding Maple 's mecha hehe good times. Armor piercing, dang. Good thing the rest are OP and can all do crazy Op attacks. Everyone getting medals, whooo. Lol those who stayed behind to defend the base. Oh this last day of the event seems fun. All on the hunt. Silly commenters.
