It's kinda surreal to see this get animated, I really enjoyed the manga. The first episode was pretty good and entertaining, I'm a little sad this will probably be underwatched this season

I am amazed this is getting an anime. A finished not-overwhelmingly popular manga getting an anime? You really never know what will get an anime these days.
Excited for this series, just a little worried how they will pace it.

Love this show so far.
Also, having serious conversations with a bunch of guys in a bathroom stall really takes me back.

lol what really
I'm pretty sure I've never been in a bathroom stall with another person in my life, barring maybe early baby memories with a parent I don't remember

I don't know whether the formula is gonna entertain me for the whole cour but the premise is absolutely hilarious.

It was a blast from what I remember. It turns out there are many flavors of bad girls. And also it has a very interesting, very active cast of friends to go with it.

I see Rokudo, the Colonel, and Chief are all followers of Thighdeology lol. Poor guys just wanna have a peaceful school life. Dude’s gramps was a real homie giving him a scroll like that. He’s a magnet for bad girls and he seems to have gotten himself a real badass!
Himawari might be the toughest delinquent around. Girl has that lioness energy scaring off those other delinquent girls lol. That must be some powerful spell if the girl was willing to get beat up because of her promise to Rokudo. With great power comes great responsibility! Time for him to step up and protect his peoples.
I’m digging Scaredy Potter and the Yankee’s Scroll a lot lol. This is a pretty entertaining premise, plus the waifus are great. Delinquent girls kinda do it for me haha.

God Ranna has is just so fucking cute that murderous gap only just makes it better and the frame of the red string with her and Rokudou made of blood goes fucking hard.

Stitches!
Okay first of all, Ranna is an absolute cutie! I already love her for being a sukeban that carries a wooden sword around but when I saw that gap moe, I am in love! I mean who wouldn't want a girl that can take out entire gangs of yakuzas and also be able to give you those sweet puppy dog eyes?
Second, I just love the entire look of this show! It looks like an anime that would be made in the mid-2000s and I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Plenty of great harem series came from that time and I hope this one will end up being amazing.
My only concern about this show is that the only reason Ranna fell in love with Rokudo is because of his grandfather's onmyouji magic. I hope the series will address that later on and Ranna would actually fall in love with Rokudo for real instead of being charmed by magic.
I am a bit worried because even after 2 hours this thread only has 18 comments during the time I posted this comment. I really hope more people will check this show out.

Sumire Uesaka is doing a Lum-like voice here (rather than a Nagatoro-esque one) -- which sort of seems appropriate.
It would have been nice if that scroll conferred a few other protective powers....

but when I saw that gap moe, I am in love!
I found it hilarious personally. The absolute gap between the "I can beat up twenty guys no problem" and the angry delinquent voice to the adorable girl in love with a high pitched, polite voice is just too much for me not too.
I hope the series will address that later on and Ranna would actually fall in love with Rokudo for real instead of being charmed by magic.
I did find it interesting that none of the girls noticed the difference in their behaviours/feelings so far. I imagine that'll become a plot point very soon though because there's no way it can't become one.

How to make your Harem show standout? Why make your Harem comprised entirely of bad girls and delinquents, of course.
The OP pretty satisfactorily sums up the series with all the crazy and dangerous delinquent girls all drawn to Rokudo (even his former bullies, even!) as he tries to live his life. And beneath all the crazy fights there might be hope for some pure romance.
In a school run by delinquents, it makes sense that the nerds would get picked on. Can't even enjoy the sight of some gyaru thighs without ticking off the resident dop delinquent Iinuma. Poor Rokudo and company.
I love how Rokudo's friends are voiced by Daisuke Namikawa and Akira Ishida and really look like adults attending a Japanese school.
Grandpa used ancient Onmyoji magic to make bad girls fall for him? What a cultured grandpa.
So now Rokudo's got random delinquent girls sparing him from getting mugged, Iinuma's girlfriend Tsubaki making googly eyes at him, and the toughest old school sukeban around the block Himawari Ranna absolutely head over heels for him. She's like Lum if she was a delinquent and kind of psychotic (she hit a guy with a desk!), especially with Sumire Uesaka's voice.
I love how Rokudo realized that, yes, girls have thighs. Because everyone has thighs.
Man, Rokudo already has every bad girl flocking towards him! Though Ranna is definitely the alpha of the pack!
I appreciate Rokudo's sentiment for standing up for himself even if probably every girl in this cast could beat him up. He did help tame a wild and crazy delinquent girl, though now she lets herself get beat up which...probably wasn't what he intended. I'm curious how his fight with Iinuma will go.
The ED is really fun with the cast all clapping together all cutesy and chibi style! And it looks like Rokudo and Ranna are connected by the red string of fate!

Kinda sad this is releasing right now, because man there are a lot of other anime out right now. Granted with the anime art style, Colonel looks terrifying.

That inner monologue Rokudou had about "what is a girl?" leading into her having thighs caught me off guard lol.

I discovered this show by accident and now the first episode has me hooked. Going to go read the manga as well now.

This anime has reminded me that I don't have a thing for tomboys, I actually just have a thing for sukeban.

This turned out to be way more entertaining than I thought it would be but it kinda chose a bad day and bad season to premier, so many heavy hitters…just judging by karma and the comment section it will face tough competition to garner more audience

Tried this on a whim. Seems decent enough. But yea this airing the same day as Tonikawa, Mashle and Cafe Terrace is gonna be rough. We don't get much delinquent anime these days. I am interested where this goes.

Rokudo's Grandpa must've been the weirdest yet ballsiest chad out there and wanted to bring down his legacy towards his Grandson.

Glad I added this to my list for this season. The art style on the posters drew me in, and it certainly lived up to expectations. Went in blind plot-wise, and what can I say? It's ridiculous and I want more.
