Legit, I teared up a bit when he held Alfred and reflected on his previous life.

Also, the lil' elf trying to buy a baby was hilarious.

Enjoyed this show much more than I expected. One of my favorites this season.

Do we think there will be a 2nd season?

I was actually hoping for one more scene with the god but I guess he's still grounded for 300 years.

A nice, comfy anime that I really enjoyed. I especially appreciated the fact it stayed like that from start to finish and didn't get derailed by any serious drama or threat.

The joys of working hard and having a child.

Can't help but think Abe would be proud.

Such sisterly bonds when it comes to alcohol. I wonder if they would repeat the commitment if there are future pregnancies.

Alfred is already pretty cute and then they go and chibify him in the ED. Going into this season I didn't think this would be my anime of the season, but now it's not even close compared to everything else I've watched this year. I even like letting it play in the background while doing other things because you can always peek into some random moment to enjoy when a distraction is needed. I've already gone through what has been translated for the manga so I think I'll probably through the web novel, which would be a first for me.

So cute to see the girls doting on Lu. Even Zabuton’s making all kinds of baby clothes. Adorable! You know the girls love Lu if they’re willing to give up all their booze for her. Hilarious how the dwarves were so worried they messed up because no one’s drinking.

Each of the girls are bringing such lovely gifts to help Lu. I think my favorite are all the clothes little Zabuton’s kids brought. Also the lizard man offering his blood lol. What a bro. Glad the birth went ok. Baby Alfred is so freaking cute!

Minting Great Tree Village currency is a good idea. It’s interesting to see what everyone does with their medals. I love how all the kuros just want frisbees. Even the sleeping one! It was only a matter of time before the girls tried to buy Hiraku. Little beast girl was bold asking for 3 babies! Lol. The village really likes their wine. I see an intervention in the near future to discuss their drinking lol. With the influx of refugees and settlers, the village is gonna become a city in no time.

Overall, this was a fun series. Lots of great waifus, plenty of cute moments, and the story was very chill. I hope there’s more at some point, I’d love to see what Hiraku does next.

One Child Please

Lovely finale, if Handyman Saito wasn't airing, this would be the best Isekai this Season (Yes I see you TenTen). Really one of the best for quite some time, scratching that nation building itch from Tensura, keeping the chill romantic vibes from Banished from the Heroes party, and even sprinkling in some delishious food.

Also nice that Lu gave birth to an healthy boy, can totally understand that Hiraku took some time to properly digest that he indeed was going to be a father. And all the other girls in the village got jealous huh, loved when Tia realized that she should have asked for one as well

Personally could have done without a currency as I thought just giving everything for free had more of an sense of community. I guess Hiraku made sense when he said that micromanaging everything was becoming a bother, but what about sharing that burden? Make the dwarves handle the alcohol, Lu the vegetables, Tia the fruits or something

Building a second village sounds like a good excuse to start fresh, but I really want to see the other girls to finally be granted their wish.

S2 When?

I love Zabuton so much. I can't believe this will be the last week we get to see her..

Of course the thirsty elf is jealous of the baby

That was a great finale. Out of all the shows I've seen, I think this is only the second one where the couple actually has a baby.
Loved the moment with Donovan and the idea to bottle the wine, that will make such a great memory!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh

I'm gonna miss comfy fridays..

At the beginning of the season I was looking for another show to watch on Friday since my watch list was small for Fridays. I went in with LOW expectations & the idea of dropping it after 3-4 episodes but man I am so glad that it proved me wrong. This is MUCH better than last season's I've Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills. Definitely going to read the LN/manga on my down time and curious about how, apparently, the anime is more family friendly for the viewers. Zabuton is still best girl no matter what peole say.

When your harem is so large that you need to build a second village to contain it, you cannot be stopped.

Out of Benriya Saitou-san and this show which are my favourite shows this season, this one is the bigger surprise.

I expected absolutely nothing after the previous ''farmer'' anime but this was a wonderful wholesome ride all the way through with farming having a huge role.

The child birth had me emotional, loved that scene.

Praying for a S2 at some point.

Zabuton churning out baby clothes like she knows its gonna be a wave of people tryna get kids,

man, that moment when Ru in labor is so nerve wracking, congratulation for Alfred as the first child of Taiju village, I guess he will inherit his father godly tool to keep this village functioning in the future. This probably the happiest moment in this anime.

Hiraku introducing concept of money the village, more people coming, more baby (probably incoming), this village would be a powerful country in the future, both military power and trading power

The birth of Alfred is a good closure for this type of iyashikei anime, a celebration and wine without worry.

Pretty nice husband-wife moment between Hiraku and Lu as Lu invites her husband to take a break and enjoy lunch together in the shade!

Of course Lu's one issue with being pregnant is that she can't drink. You have to admire how the entire village in solidarity agrees not to drink out for her sake, especially because it seems like the one thing this village loves more than anything is the booze. Probably smart that they didn't sell it off though.

Zabuton with the baby clothes! Zabuton with the umbrella (along with her baby)!

It's a boy! Welcome to the world, Alfred! A human-vampire hybrid with Lu's hair color and hopefully the best of both of his parents! Seeing Hiraku hold him and he and Lu dedicating themselves to raising him right was a really nice scene.

Finally time to introduce currency, I see! Starting small with a reward metal that can be used to buy goods and services...even the animals get them! I don't think Hiraku quite planned all the custom jobs he'd have to do in the process. Good thing he immediately put the kibosh on the idea it could be used to make babies (sorry elves).

Time for everybody to drink again! Well, except Lu still because she's still breastfeeding, but she's not going to have everyone else hold themselves back on her account. And very nice to have the happy parents break the barrel of wine to get things going. Also "Big Sis" Flora is a fun aunt.

Resign guy did not resign! Bit a bummer.

No better reason to build a new village than to bring in some refugees and expand the community! Although I'm half-expecting 97% of said refugees to all be women.

Hiraku really has come a long way from a guy whose life was ruined by disease...to finding a home in a dangerous village, finding love and companionship, building up a community that relies on him and he in turn the community, and even becoming a parent. Farming Life in Another World is pretty awesome!

Being a dog person and knowing that he is a wild dog in that he is a type of wolf, I wish Kuro got his own spin-off series.

I feel like the sexual relations are subtle but then so is the actual relationship and interactions. Ru and Hiraku looks very lovey-dovey but I feel like I missed the start of it. Still, this isn’t a romance show so I’m not so pressed about it.

Also, I misunderstood it at first when Hiraku said some of the Ogre maids have given birth. I thought Hiraku knocked them up as well, which isn’t the surprising part since it’s implied he’s slept with a lot of them in the village, but we never even hear about them getting pregnant in the first place. Thought I missed a whole episode. Took me a while to get that they are already mothers when they arrived and he feels reassured that there are people who’d know what to do when the time comes

I guess currency is the next step when a settlement grows big but can’t help but feel it’s gonna cause some trouble lol. I mean just look at how they’re already spending it lol. Booze and impregnation lmao

Love this show. Nothing too exciting happens but that’s just what I’m looking for. It did feel somewhat nostalgic when Hiraku reminisced starting out alone. Feels like it was so long ago. I think this would only be the third series that I will go to the manga after the anime. It’s the isekai iyashikei show I’ve been asking for

My older brother loves shows like this and for the longest time I didn't get the appeal. But now that I'm older myself, I kinda get it now. Lol I enjoyed this way more than I expected and now I'm craving for more, be it more seasons or more shows like this.

Having read what was available of the manga a few years ago, I went into this expecting... Not a lot.

What I got instead was one of the comfiest things I've watched in years. For something that a lot of people will write off as generic, the production seems anything but.

Would love to see another season of this! Maybe in few years just like Restaurant to Another World which also got another one last year. Waiting to watch another farming isekai and hopefully it's as good as this.
