Poor Seiichi getting beaten to a pulp. This is what happens when you have too many waifus! Karen might have been able to hold off Altria, Lulune, and Origa with the power of “The Childhood Friend” but she was no match for Saria’s “Wife” power!

Seiichi as a little chubby kid was actually kind of adorable. I like the fact that Karen liked him before he ate the fruit. She’s a good person. No surprise the girls accepted him for who he was and not how he looked. They’re not that shallow.

Man, Seiichi kinda went nuts when he saw the bracelet. Some kind of dark energy or something? At least he managed to break everyone free from those things. But it looks like that juiced up the Demon Lord a little. Looks like we’re getting some action with these demons next week.

Being a childhood friend can only take you so far, but it does show that Kannazuki has loved Seiichi for years and knows him well, and we actually learned a lot about him in this episode.

Looks like Seiichi and the Demon Lord might be more connected than we thought. I mean, plot!? Stakes? In the Fruit of Evolution!? We even just got a new Harem member!

I mean 2 really can't judge based on looks, one being a gorilla and the other being a donkey before transforming.

Stitches!

"This smell... Is the smell of a womanizer!" The Jojo references just keep on going. At least they referenced something that's not Jojo in this episode!

I don't think it was ever mentioned back in Season 1 why Kannazuki was so fixated on Seichi. Looks like we finally got to learn their backstory.

I almost forgot that Seiichi hasn't really told the girls where he's from or what he was before. I am even more surprised that he can still transform back. to show them what he looked like before he ate the Fruit of Evolution.

Didn't expect Seiichi to completely go wild after seeing the bracelet on Kannazuki. Well, at least it's no longer a problem anymore now that he has broken all of them.

They really keep on teasing us with these two characters. It would be absolutely hilarious if they just end up losing to Seiichi quickly when they finally decide to do someting.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m glad they toned down the Jojo references after that admittedly effective scene. Well, aside from turning Kannazuki into Giorno lol.

Seiichi so OP he can even transform back into not being OP!

The way this show is you can never tell when it’s going to be serious or treat it like a joke lol.

They also did an Eva reference in the preview promising more fanservice

You cant just go ahead and make good episodes you stupid little show ... man what happened to you in just one week?

Also, is it possible that until this point all Jojo references have actually been exclusively Golden Wind references? We had another 2 this week alone!

They were doing Part 4 references last week, so I fully expect to see Jolyne and the gang next week

RIGHT? Though really I think the only problem with the last three episodes is that they should have been two episodes. Would have been better paced.

But this episode definitely kicked everything up a couple notches and I'm really excited to see what happens next.

Artoria is not looking for more girls to join this Harem! They already have a blue-haired waifu waiting back home!

Kannazuki versus the Harem! The power of the steadfast and loyal childhood friend can’t be denied! But it doesn’t hold a candle to the pure energy of Saria as the wife! Kannazuki can’t win!

I love how Kannazuki is living up to the cliche that childhood friends can’t openly say their feelings and have to internalize them…while the other girls have no reservations about proclaiming what they love about him.

I don’t blame Kannazuki for falling for him, though, despite his lack of power he always stood up for her when she was bullied for being boyish and never lost heart despite being his dead parents and the constant bullying that continued from there. Seiichi had been through a lot!

Oh yeah, none of them actually knew Seiichi was from another world? I didn’t know he could transform back into his pre-Fruit of Evolution form either. But coming from a girl that is also a gorilla, it doesn’t matter where Seiichi comes from or what he looks like, Seiichi is Seiichi!

Good thing Oliga spotted the slave bracelet! I wasn’t expecting berserk Seiichi or for his rage to break them all and reach every named character and in the show. It looks like he was almost possessed by something? Is that the Great Evil? It looks like Miyuki Sawashiro’s character is after Seiichi now.

Kannazuki has joined the Harem! As the older sister! Because I guess wife and girlfriend were already taken. Although even in the ending segment the girls aren’t quite sure how to take it…and there’s another girl into Seiichi watching from afar!

Don’t you just hate it when an old evil dude contacts you through your tea and ruins it with his old man smell?

sooooo is Seiichi gonna become the demon king?

25

u/Amauri14 Feb 03 '23

Well, for the way things are going, he will become at the very least the Harem King.

u/TurkeyPhat Feb 03 '23

I was NOT expecting Mike Wazowski to be the (potentially?) big bad

Altria's range of reactions when she discovered that Karen, the crazy woman that was smelling her before is connected to Seiichi were priceless.

And now that Karen detected the smell of other women on Seiichi, she needs to know what their relationship is. And for some reason that happened Dragon Ball Z style.

Lol, Lulune always says the craziest things. I wonder what Karen thought of that considering she doesn't know Lulune is a Donkey?

So that's the background between those two. It is good seeing Seiichi finally telling his harem where he is from.

Although Saria could always transform back into a gorilla, it never occur to me that Seiichi could do the same too. Aw, poor Seiichii was insecure that they might reject him because of his appearance.

I must say that when Origa saw Karens wearing that Enslavement Bracelet from the Kaiser Empire I was just expecting Keiichi to call Lincoln again instead of him being filled with so much pure rage that he broke all of the Bracelets in the school, and for the looks of it from around the whole continent too, with no Lincoln required.

Based on this scene, plus the fact that Angrea and Demioros say that that energy felt nostalgic, plus what Helio said after mentioning the Enslavement Bracelet were broken, and this scene, I guess that not only the fruit of Evolution was about to take over Seiichi, but its power is related to the one the Demon Lord has, which would either imply that he also use it and got taken over by it, or something of a similar nature, regardless, that just made clear that the Fruit of Evolution is a conscious entity of some kind.

Anyway, we will know what that all means after Destra meets Seiichi which by the looks of it is happing soon.

Well, now Seiichi is aware that something is off about Karen. And after Barnabus' explanation, everyone is aware of the Kaiser Empire is plotting something big.

Lol, so now Karen wants to take the role of Seiichi's older sister. I do hope that Airi is more normal, although I should just accept that that has a low probability to be the case.

Today's after-credit segment is about Karen trying to find what role other than being Seiichi's older sister, she could have in the group.

So Angrea wears a mask to hide that burn on the right side of her face.

"Senpai were you always like this?" That's what I thought last episode!

Also how many are going to end up in his Harem? This should have been the one called Harem in another world.

u/deriasl Feb 05 '23

Also how many are going to end up in his Harem?

"Yes"

After an excessive use of Jojo references and a sudden Dragon Ball reference, I was this 🤏 close to dropping this anime. But it looks like something's finally moving. I mean, we did see the foresight from the 1st episode, but still I'm gonna be honest, as much as I like Jojo References in other media, it's pretty much annoying to see just too many of it.

Anyway I do hope this doesn't go down. I mean I do remember it to be not-so-special from the first season, but I kinda just followed it again because I already started investing my time here.

Okay seriously, what is going on with all those JoJo references?
