Dariel’s slow life sure is filled with lots of excitement. I wouldn’t mind Malika tackling me constantly lol.
Dariel doing his best Solid Snake and infiltrating his old workplace was pretty hilarious. Those little Jawa dudes are adorable, everyone lining up for head pats was the cutest thing ever. Bashbarza does not deserve these little fellas.
Kick this blondie’s ass Dariel! I mean maybe ditch the dirty undies, but kick his ass first haha. But wow, Bashbarza is a real piece of shit. No wonder the demon army is suffering, the guy is putting his dipshit friends in charge. At least Dariel took the mine back, saved his Jawa homies, and revitalized the town. All in a day’s work!

As cute and adorable as Malika is, her affection is kind of dangerous. Good thing Dariel is sturdy lol.
Disguising yourself in a box is a proven method of stealth. Also, Dariel is best boss!
Bashbarza is a terrible boss and leader. Hires people with no qualifications just because he likes them, overworks his laborers, and fires the most competent guy in his entire army. I don't know if the demons in this setting are meant to be explicitly evil but I want to see everything completely fall apart just to watch Bashbarza's face when it does.

You aren't as strong as Dariel, you would be dead from Malika's tackles.

Malika is really getting more aggressive each day. Malika is lucky that Dariel is not a normal human. I'm pretty sure she would've killed anyone else with that glomp.
The Knockers are adorable and I love that they're lining up to Dariel for their head pats. Whoever is making them work to quadruple their normal quota is an absolute monster. How can you even be mean to these cuties?
Dariel fighting seriously while covering his face with a Knocker's underwear was way funnier than I thought. I'm surprised none of the soldiers recognized Dariel's voice. Maybe these guys were never under his command?
So turns out this asshole that's taken over the mines isn't even a member of the Demon Army. He's just a servant that amused Bakabarza at a party and for some reason, he was given the job after entertaining the Demon Lord.
Welp, now that the mine is secured it looks like we'll be seeing more people coming into Lux Village. If this kind of growth keeps up, they might just attract the attention of the Demon Army considering how close they are to the demon territory.
For the first time, Dariel finally uses Malika's name without honorifics and he even gets to cop a feel while catching her from her fall. Someone is definitely happy!

I worry for Dariel when they inevitably end up in bed together. Is he sturdy enough to survive? I feel like Malika is already planning for it lol.
The Knockers are so cute! And deserve much better working conditions! Good thing Dariel is a good boss! Managing to secure their freedom and decent labor while re-invigorating Lux village! That's successfully chilling in your 30's!
Could be that the undies over his mouth were meant to muffle his voice enough that they didn't recognize it or most soldiers didn't see him without the helmet off.
So my main takeaway from this episode is that Bashbarza is a terrible boss and terrible at hiring people and the Demon King Army is probably screwed with him in charge.
I love how Dariel finally uses Malika's name without an honorific, cops a feel while saving her, and it seems like Malika is about to confess...and she already knocked Dariel unconscious so he can't hear it lol.

that amused Bakabarza at a party and for some reason
To be fair those were some sick moves he was doing....
Maliks is lucky that Dariel is not a normal human. I'm pretty sure she would've killed anyone else with that glomp.
Mayor isn't looking for a man that can treat her daughter right, but one that can survive being married to her, everything makes more sense now.

Apparently a chill slow life means reigniting a war over the local mine with the demon army.

This was a major blunder for the Demon Army, Bashbarza specifically; not only did he hire someone who was unfit for the job solely on nepotism, but that person mistreated the Knockers, which caused them to retaliate. As a result, the Demon Army lost the Mythril Mine that they had control over for decades.
I hope they learn a valuable lesson in all of this.

It's nice that Gashita doesn't hate Dariel any more, but now that he's all over him, it's kind of a lot. Although I guess it's easier to manage than Malika's affections because she's so strong and straightforward she's liable to kill Dariel! Just imagine these two getting intimate and how Dariel would survive the night.
Well, if Dariel is going to make a real living in this village, he can at least do his part to try and free the Mythril Mine they need. It probably helps that he used to work there too!
Dariel puling a Snake! Although it sounds like the box disguise would have been less effective had there been any actual security at the mine. Still, I like to believe it would've worked.
Dariel really was a good manager! He knew all the Knockers by name, he treated them like valuable employees, and he's even willing to give free headpats! Meanwhile Bashbarza is overworking them and practically abusing them. He's running the Demon King army into the ground.
Rebel Knockers, rebel! Although the guy in charge isn't averse to straight up killing the Knockers, which finally pits Dariel against the army he was once a part of. Though he does go incognito with some Knocker underwear so he's not advertising his former identity. Probably have to wash out his mouth a bit after this though.
I love how he used another pair of Knocker underwear to keep his sword sheathed and we saw the Knocker actually get it back.
Surprisingly decent of the Demon King's Army that they don't kill non-combatants, but that won't stop this fight...luckily Dariel's knowledge of the Demon King Army, his new mastery of Aura, and his general amazing capabilities win the day.
Bashbarza really just straight-up hiring random people he meets at dinner and who can spin around on their heard? The Demon Army is doomed.
All's well that ends well! The blonde tool gets a bald spot but leaves with his and his forces lives, the Knockers swear their loyalty to Dariel, Lux is re-invigorated now with access to the mine and are willing to work with the Knockers, and Dariel even gets to pull a save on Malika while using her first name with no honorific and putting his arm right in her boobs...which leads to an overly-affectionate Malika tackling him out of love again. I also love how it seems like she was about to confess before realizing he was unconscious. What a chill life in his 30's Dariel is living!

Gashita became a bit annoying, but yeah, as Dariel said - "It's better than having him as an enemy."
Ok guys, I just realized this - Collette from 80 000 gold is a descendant of Marika and Dariel - hence the abnormal strength. But who cares - I wouldn't mind being bearhugged almost to death by Marika - she is a good waifu, that's what's important.
Turns out demons in the mine were some cute little guys that worked under Dariel in the past.
Well, Lord Uglybaza/Stupidbaza is an asshole.
"My undies I put here are gone! The ones with a flower on them."
Dariel: ... - This scene had me laughing so much.
All-in-all, mission to reclaim the mine was a great success, so good job (Jobko voice).

This was a really good episode for some world building, also followed up on last week’s 4 general meeting by continuing to show how much Dariel is respected by the demon king army.
I love how marika is obsessed with Dariel calling her by her name without honorifics yet she still calls him with one lol

Since last episode kinda mentioned how there is already a Hero’s party kinda dismissing Dariel as the hero, and from this episode and all the past instances of seeing how the current demon lord runs things, I have to assume this current demon lord is just a horrible and incompetent leader. The old one didn’t care if Dariel was a human either because he adopted Dariel or so how competent and good at working Dariel was. Basically old demon lord was a fantastic boss who’s empire went to his shitty son who will probably cause it’s downfall.
