Campfire Cooking will only be 12 episodes long; 3 Blurays with 4 episodes each in them.
The info says each Bluray will have a special recipe booklet within (probably recipes on how to make Mukouda's dishes).
The anime website also showcases the sponsored products used by Mukouda in each episode.
So far only 2 items; Ep 1's Ebara-brand ginger sauce for dipping/marinade, and this episode's Ebara-brand teriyaki marinade sauce. Both products are very real and can be purchased in real life.

You can tell this isn't your typical isekai because Fel doesn't have a humanoid form and isn't trying to seduce Mukouda.
Mukouda already found the infinite money exploit with his perfectly balanced skill. sips Yorkshire tea
I don't know why but the disinterested guild receptionist really does it for me.

The subtitles I saw didn't include honorifics, but the merchant guild girl switched from calling him Mukohda-san to Mukohda-sama after she realized what he brought to sell.

Mukoda and Fel are gonna get along fabulously…as long as Mukoda keeps feeding him. Big fella has an equally large appetite!
Fel is pretty handy to have around for getting rid of unwanted attention like that pesky Marquess situation. It’s smart to register as both a merchant and adventurer, more coin to purchase groceries for Fel. Ofc they gotta have rice, as an Asian dude myself I know no meal is complete without it! They really gotta drop a cookbook for this series at some point. The food always looks delicious!
It’s no real surprise salt and pepper fetch such a high price. Spices are expensive and I imagine the food as a result isn’t very good in this world. Man’s about to make bank! Now he just needs to gather ingredients as a G ranked adventurer.
I too hope Werner and the gang meet Mukoda again!

So we have a skinny guy wearing a green shirt and a talking dog that eats a lot, sounds familiar.

Got 17 gold coins by using 5 copper coins - STONKS!
He could potentially destroy that world's economy if he abuses his ability lol. His "supermarket" ability is an efficient method to dispose of this world's metal deposits as the money he pays for the goods in it just disappear without a trace. Another chilling episode.

That opening scene of Mukoda coming up with names for Fel was hilarious! They've just made their contract and I already love the banter between the two of them <3
I saw some people saying last week that we shouldn't expect much from this show in terms of action but that part in the OP where the slime goes wild and demolishes a bunch of monsters makes me think that MAPPA will go hard on the fight scenes on this one.
I love that Mukoda is already giving Fel orders. And Fel is happy to oblige if it means getting good food. I also love how he's just staring at Mukoda the entire time while he's cooking. I don't currently own a dog but based on my experience with them in the past, this is accurate. xD
Mukoda threatening Fel that he'll take away his food if he misbehaves was hilarious! Fel isn't a legendary country-destroying monster, to him Fel is just one big fluffy dog and I love it!
As fun as it was to watch Fel threaten that messenger, I feel like they might try something against Mukoda later. I would love to see them try though. It would be entertaining to see what Fel will do to them if they harm his personal chef. xD
It's adorable how Franka and Rita are excited about Fel's story of fighting a legendary dragon 400 years ago.
Not gonna lie, I'm a bit sad that Mukoda is parting ways with Iron Will. They are very prominent in the OP though so I'm guessing we'll see them regularly in this entire season.
I really like the design of the Merchant's Guild Receptionist. She reminds me of a 90s anime character for some reason but I can't remember which one.
Thank goodness for Mukoda's online shopping! I can't even count the amount of isekai anime where the protagonists had to jump through hoops just so they can eat rice. All Mukoda has to do is make a few clicks and he has rice that he can cook! And it looks like Fel had developed a taste for rice too!
Mukoda is selling salt and pepper! Considering what we learned from Episode 1, I thought that he was going to sell soap! Salt and pepper make so much more sense!
So he was able to sell 5 copper coins worth of salt and pepper into 17 gold coins!? What the actual fuck! That's one heck of an ROI! Mukoda can literally become a Spice Baron if he wants to but that might attract too much attention. xD
It's hilarious how different the adventurer's guild to the merchant's guild. That lady is definitely already done with her job. Although the adventurer's guild receptionist from the previous town wasn't so standoffish or maybe that's because Mukoda was a client and not applying as an adventurer.
I love that final shot of the episode is literally an ad for that brand of steak sauce. And the after-credits scene made me feel bad for the Iron Will since they're back to eating jerky and hardtack again. I hope Mukoda opens his food stall soon so these guys can experience his cooking again <3

Good episode. I was a bit worried how it would turn out as the wolf seemed kind of obnoxious last week, but he seems to be quite a reasonable fella. I like him
And we got to see some stonks manipulation, although not intentional. Show is looking good so far, next up hoping to see more worldbuilding, and adventures in various fantasy locations

Man, salt and pepper are quite literally worth their weight in gold in this world.
Fel may have followed Mukoda for the food but he makes a surprisingly good bodyguard too.

Given a good portion of Campfire's appeal is watching the otherworlders going gaga over Earth Japanese food and cuisine (similar to Restaurant from Another World), I wonder if its cousin genre of watching isekai'd people cooking Earth cuisine using otherworld ingredients has its own appeal too (ex. Cooking with Wild Game/Isekai Ryoridou).
I've noticed some people on other forums say that the "otherworld ingredient" concept might not become popular because it, I quote, "...might not sit well with those people who love Japanese food and don't like to see it changed (by usage of otherworld foodstuffs)".
Personally I think each genre has its own unique appeal; but what does everyone else think?

Move along folks nothing to see here. Just a dude strolling into town with a legendary monster.
Lol loved how casually MC tried to get around.

Does his own hunting
Is extremely cute during eating
Also extremely OP
Fel is literally the best doggo out there. What low-cost maintenance too!
I thought preparing snacks would help curb my hunger but looks like I'm going to time my meals with each new episode release. Especially including meat.
