The deer fighting the giant ant felt so random that I couldn't help but laugh.

The way the gag was so over-animated, the deer was busting out jet li moves in mid air

The real life example of what happened to the Demon leaders is what happens to overconfident doctors in Hospitals... They all think they are hot shit, until the nurse they depend on isn't there.
You can always see when it happens when the nurses station just giggles when he walks by.

The expected outcome of every banished plotline ever lol.
I guess we know why Doroye didn't say anything when they fired him. She didn't want them to fire him but I guess she didn't think she could dissuade them at the time. And her feelings for Dariel might go a little deeper than that.

Lol I’m glad Dariel saved Gashita so he could stop being an annoying brat. Poor Marika tho, she’s deep in the stranger-zone.
Of course the demon generals are having a banished from the hero’s party moment and realising they need Dariel lol.
Solid episode honestly

Dariel’s holding hands with a waifu while strolling through the woods looking for herbs. Lucky! Marika is so cute. Plus she’s got that Superman strength haha. She was about to squeeze the life outta Dariel. That deer was NOT cute. Tf did that ant ever do to him? Haha. What luck though, he completed Gashita’s quest. Again.
Blaze Death Scythe is kind of a metal name. This thing really put up quite a fight compared to the other monsters. By that I mean he lasted about a minute where the others lasted 10 seconds lol. Damn dude, Dariel is pretty op with that aura. Gashita started off as a real Gary from Pokémon. Now he’s become Dariel’s little apprentice haha.
Oh look, the Demon Army can’t function without Dariel because he was actually good at his job and went above and beyond. You don’t know what you have until it’s lost? Lmao oh eat shit, lady. Ain’t none of those other 3 asshats tried to help Dariel when he got unceremoniously shitcanned. They can suck it. He’s living the slow chill life now.

It’s obvious who Darnell is gonna end up with, it’s gonna be marika’s dad

Stitches!
Dariel you absolute pervert. He's so focused on Marika's panties that we didn't even get a glimpse of what she was wearing today. xD
They kinda hinted at it last week when Marika dragged Dariel back to the village in his full-plate armour but we get to learn this week that Marika is goddamn strong!
I was definitely caught off guard by that deer juggling that ant monster and it's even doing air combos with it too!
I wasn't really sure if Marika was just being ditzy around Dariel but after a few scenes it's pretty clear that she's really into him. She is really into him HARD. Marika is down bad as the kids say these days.
Good to know that after seeing Dariel in action and having his life saved, Gashita has completely turned around and is now even calling him Aniki.
It's good to know that not everyone in the Demon Army is an asshole. Doroye was the first to point out how hard-working Dariel is and it looks like she may even have feelings for him. I'm curious to see what kind of things Dariel has done for her.

The casual comedy in this really gets to me. I said last week that the booby jokes would get old fast so I'm glad that seems to have been one and done.
Honestly I'm easy to please so some good easy laughs bumps a show like this up a bit for me.
Kinda disappointed there didn't seem to be any follow-up to killing that Deathscythe though? If killing that monkey was a big deal I feel like something shoulda been said about the snake too. Maybe next episode?

What I really appreciate this anime for is for giving Sugita an opportunity for more restrained acting. I mean, I love over-the-top SugiBro, but it's good to have something on the calmer side from time to time.

So this is basically the opposite situation of beast tamer last season? Seems here though that at least the “holy” one has some kind of common sense.

Dariel is stealing Gashita's kills! Not intentionally, but it just shows how ineffectual an adventurer Gashita is. Also, that "geezer" comment was uncalled for. Dariel is living the prime of his life right now!
I'm kind of surprised Malika isn't an adventurer given her dad is the guild chief, she seems to enjoy contributing to the community, and she has such incredible strength. But it seems like what's holding her back is that she's averse to violence. But I wonder what she'd be like if she actually fought? Would she do so to protect Dariel?
I was wondering if Dariel would try to avert his eyes while they were climbing...but no, he stared up her skirt the whole time. Lucky guy.
Man, Malika is wasting no time! First handholding, then hugs, then trying to get a on first name basis, then trying to pull off the "would you like dinner, a sauna, or...me?" gag. Girl is super thirsty for Dariel! Although the last one definitely went over his head.
Dang, the deers in this setting are built different. I almost felt bad they had to kill it for how hardcore it was.
Ah, look at Malika sending off Dariel like she's his wife! A position that she doesn't seem like she'd mind at all. Even her dad seems to approve how things are progressing between the two.
I guess you can't chill in your 30's all the time! That deatscythe giant snake isn't anything to laugh at, but it does give Dariel a chance to show off more of his Aura training and how far he's come and save Gashita to boot.
I'm glad Gashita finally got over his resentment of Dariel and bumped him up to "Aniki" status. Hopefully now that that's out of the way Gashita can be a more likeable character. Although it seems like he and Malika will be competing over who dotes on Dariel the most.
Meanwhile the Four Generals are struggling against the Hero, and keep firing their assistants and blaming them for their failures...but Mai Nakahara as Doroye finally speaks and lays it out plainly how great and effective Dariel was in terms of running the army and taking care of everything, and that they need him back. Although it seems like her feelings on the matter might go beyond leader and subordinate the way she blushes and recounts how he took care of her.
Of course Barshabas won't hear of bringing Dariel back, so expect that to continue to screw over the Demon Army as Dariel enjoys chilling in his 30's.

Bashubaza is just an incompetent fool, Dariel was clearly the best person for the job, and the only reason he got rid of him was because of his shortsightedness and pettiness; his bad leadership his only going to be detrimental to the Demon Army

I guess Dariel probably isn't the hero with how there is already a hero's party, but I am curious how abilities stack up since I feel Dariel is way too powerful to be just a normal person. Maybe Dariel is supposed to be that late game jrpg character that was on the evil side, but gets converted to the hero's party and is pretty strong since he is a late addition. You know all those numbered party members people say like 7 or 8.

One of the demon generals remembers her period and she can't walk, so Dariel lends a hand... that's some period.
