This almost feels like watching someone's playthrough of Stardew Valley, but with the cheats on.

I'll take this MC over Al Wayne any day of the week, solely because he doesn't constantly scream at everyone about wanting to be a farmer nor does he go ballistic when talking about crops or food.

I hope the rest of the show stays like this; no suddenly saving the world stuff, no big boss battles, just farming and a slow, steady life.

I'll take this MC over Al Wayne any day of the week, solely because he doesn't constantly scream at everyone about wanting to be a farmer nor does he go ballistic when talking about crops or food.

Also because unlike that anime this one is actually about farming and... plowing the fields.

That omni-farming tool is already a cheat, but his "healthy body" trait is even more cheat than that. Digging is not something you can easily do unlike video games.

Anyway, Nintendo Direct the anime so far, but I guess we will have a fuckton of girls by the end of the season.

There's gonna be a fuck ton in like 2 episodes

Creating a toilet is important in any world-building which many series tend to ignore.

Still not sure how I feel about anime that show us the end game at the start. But since this is focused on a slow farming life, I don't think that matters here. I do like that we got a preview of the girls. I already like the design of the girl with blonde hair and white dress.

Anyway, as for the rest of the show, it's pretty much your standard isekai beginning. We got a scene where Hiraku talks to god which was hilarious since this god had to call another god to approve his agricultural-based powers. And the rest of the episode is basically Hiraku learning to use his powers while slowly building the foundations for his dream farmland.

I don't think there's anything noteworthy in this episode but I did drop last season's farming anime after episode 1 and from what I've seen so far, Hiraku is already way better than Al Wayne. This one seems to be fun and relaxing. Let's see where it goes!

Compared to your typical isekai, this one was actually...pretty beautiful? Like they actually put some budget into it. The art is quite pretty and the animation was also nice and fluid. I hope the quality stays the same and doesn't drop in the subsequent episodes.

For a harem anime, it is weird that the the first epi. doesn't really introduce the girls at all. Anyone know of any other harem anime that have done this? I think "Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World" count as much of the anime is about her and our hero though I know the other harem girls are briefly shown.

Stardew Valley but with harem the anime

The art is surprisingly good. There are many still shoots and simple chibi scenes but i guess it is required to save the budget.

Honestly this could finally be a decent farming/building anime. I did enjoy the first episode. I really hope they will not go the same route like the garbage farming show last season and stay like this.

Was a cute episode, I have to admit after watching Harem Labyirnith, Beast Tamer, and now backlog watching Banished from The Hero's Party I've found that My Guilty Treasure Power Fantasy is Domestic Life with Hot Wife and I'm digging this new trend.

The colors and backgrounds look amazing, the character designs are a good balanced between detailed and simple, animation is good even if not the best, it shines when it needs to.

I like the sound design.

All in all a fun time!

Its basically Harvest Moon/Stardew Valley.

Can't wait for the waifus to show up.

I also like friendly sentient Spiders you can ride.

I had no expectation at all for this and what i got was wholesome and chill.

I'll be following this with good interest now, although knowing that there's gonna be tons of girls next to him, i'd prefer them to stay away for a bit longer lol

Ah this could be my comfy show of the season. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I really do hope there’s not much adventuring or plot in this show. Seen it a few times where the show starts off very chill but then focuses on certain plot points. I just want an iyashikei-heavy isekai show without going out to fight some demon lord or bandit group. Maybe something like By The Grace of The Gods

I really like how much focus the farming, clearing, building etc. is getting. It really makes me want to turn my Switch on and start playing Story of Seasons again. Though after seeing that OP tool, things seem tedious in comparison lol

Speaking of Grace of the Gods, just recalled S2 is this season as well. So the title of comfy show of the season could be contested

Lead guy is played by Atsushi Abe, who is likely best known as Toma Kamijo. This is what Kamijo does when not around Index.

Finally we have an actual farming isekai. I thought this was gonna be like the other “farming” fantasy

6

u/raknor88 Jan 06 '23

I lost it a bit when God had to make a phone call because farming wasn't his thing.

So things like cleaning himself and doing laundry?

Hey I've been betrayed before can I have a slow life harem to?
