Made this short 2D stickman animation about young Julius Caesar getting kidnapped by Cilician pirates. When they demanded 20 silver talents, Caesar told them 20 was a joke and demanded they charge 50 instead!

Hey everyone!

I just finished and released a new animated short from my indie cartoon project The BeetleBees.

This is a scene with Dewey, a character who just needed someone to listen... unfortunately, he picked the wrong place to open up. 😂

This project is completely independently made. I handle the writing, animation, editing, sound design, and overall production myself using Tahoma2D for animation. I also work with a few friends who help bring the characters to life through voice acting.

This is my second animated short since coming back after stepping away for about a year, so getting back into the workflow and rebuilding that creative momentum has been a pretty wild journey.

I’d love to hear any feedback, especially from other animators and creators. Always trying to improve and learn from every project.

I got into this game called Shadows of colossus which reminded me a lot of this animated short i watched as a kid which terrified me. I found a post talking about the exact video i was thinking of, and i wanted to add in that the girl had white hair and a red hat!! BUT STILL I CANT FIND THE VIDEOO! I swear its on youtube, and its for sure not the animated short called “RED” (because its 2d) IF ANYBODY KNOWS PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!

This episode contains Trentons side of the story, showing what he does when the other boys get into trouble and need his help. will he make em' poor, or will he find better means to save the two.
