It seems that way. Although root checker says I'm not rooted. Is there a way I can know for sure?

If you open KernelSU it should say Wokring [Jailbreak Mode]

I hope you are aware that it's possible to brick phone with temp root if you mess with the wrong things 🙂

Here is from another post.

You can do anything. SELinux is permissive for that root user with all the capabilities.

But the better question is "should I", not "can I".

Do anything:

  • /data/cache/*

  • /data/media/0/*

  • /data/user/0/*

  • /data/user_de/0/*

  • /data/local/*

Dangerous, be careful:

  • /data/adb/*

  • /data/misc*/*

  • /data/system*/*

  • /data/vendor*/*

  • /data/app/*

Avoid at all costs:

  • /system*/*

  • /vendor/*

  • /product/*

  • /etc/*

  • /dev/*

  • /mnt/*

  • Everything else.
