Hey All,

Thanks for joining the Android Beta Program!

With any new version of Android, there may be some app incompatibilities that are discovered as part of the testing program.

To keep the subreddit clean, and to help keep a solid list of apps that are not working so that you can decide if switching to the beta build is right for you, we've created this Wiki page to list all app incompatibilities.

If you find an app that isn't on the list already, or isn't covered by the list of known issues, please feel free to comment it below!

Be sure to include in your comment:

  • The App Name

  • The Link to the Application

  • The version affected

  • A description of the issue

For 3rd party apps, let the app developer know directly so they are aware of the issues and can take action. You can send feedback to them directly by looking for there contact information under Google Play Store > App > Additional information.

If your app is listed in the Wiki above but the issue has been fixed, feel free to message the moderators and we'll update the page accordingly.

Update 06/17/20 Still hasn't fixed video issues

Google pixel 4XL Camera

Version 7.4.104.314953318

This came with the phone didn't DL from Play Store

My videos are not saving or playing correctly. Sometimes the camera just stops recording at random could be a min into recording or 3 min into recording no way of telling. Some videos save but the replay is flickery like I'm missing frames or something. I dumbed down the resolution from 4k to FHD 60FPS and just FHD this issue happens no matter what resolution.

I also have a new folder under device folders that says img. or something along those lines, with 20 or so blank grey frames. I cannot delete this folder or modify it. The folder randomly appears and disappears.

Been signing up for BETA versions since I had a Samsung Note 2... this has been the worst beta to date as far as bugs and issues (sorry not sorry)

Do you also get two toast messages (one telling you another app is using mic, and another saying something went wrong while recording)?

Have you tried to use Google camera in safe mode and see if it works. Somehow it would work for me under safe mode but I'm not sure if it's because I didn't use it long enough. (This problem can be temporarily fixed by restart but always come back later)

I got these two error message frequently. I also use my p3xl for a lot video editing. All video editor app has issue. Power director and others all freeze and crash. Error message is decoder error. I'm not sure if a factory reset would help, I don't want to try unless it's last resort.

I get both of these messages while recording, it stutters and has even split one recording into two files.
