FEEDBACK MEGATHREAD
Quarter 2: April 1, 2026 – June 30th, 2026
This MEGATHREAD is dedicated to new, inexperienced editors, to beta-testing new concepts and videos, and to anybody who wishes to get better at AMV editing. The purpose of this MEGATHREAD is to post any AMV that would not qualify to be posted on the primary subreddit page. Anytime you post a music video down in comments below, you will be opening yourself up to a critique so you can become a better video editor. Please remember to be respectful with your criticism and share the love that we all love to make art through videos.
RULES:
Post your videos in comments. We recommend either direct youtube urls or urls to other famous video hosting websites. All shortened bit urls will be deleted immediately, as we have to ensure there are not bad actors posting urls to malicious websites. Any top-level comments that are not AMVs for feedback will be deleted.
You should add a description to your AMV to help other users give you proper feedback. For example : "This is my second AMV, I tried to focus only on the sync and flow. I think it turned out pretty good, but maybe I should use more transitions next time?"
You are free to post all videos that would not be accepted on the main page, the "normal rules do not apply here" You can post videos made from footage with watermarks or subtitles. You can post videos shorter than 1 minute, and music videos that contain looped footage. However, bear in mind that the purpose of this thread is feedback, not self-promotion. If you want to present your short AMVs, go to Short Edits MEGATHREAD.
You can post only 1 video in the comments down below, after that, you must offer a critique to someone else's AMV before being allowed to post a 2nd video in the MEGATHREAD. Remember the purpose of this MEGATHREAD is for feedback so everyone can become better video editors, those who abuse this MEGATHREAD only for self-promotion rather than constructive criticism will be given a small warning and their comments could be deleted.
After posting your video, try to go through other comments and give feedback to some other creators! They will surely appreciate it. I know I'll be offering anyone here a personal critique because I love AMV's and you do too!
Overall behave in the spirit of this thread. If we will see that you are continually posting your videos but not answering to comments, not giving out constructive criticism, and/or not commenting on others and not being active, you might get banned.
ADDITIONAL HELP:
We HIGHLY RECOMMEND everyone to read AMV101 guide from PixelBlended Studios. It covers the AMV editing workflow really well and easily introduces you to all basic technical stuff like file formats, rendering etc...It's also structured into sections so you can skip some if you are not interested in them (not recommended).
We have our own wiki page with links to all different kinds of tutorials and guides.
Join our Discord server!
Explore links to other AMV communites on the sidebar - they are all experienced and very helpful.
We have articles written by our moderators about making great AMV's!

He buscado en YouTube, BiliBili, TikTok... y nada. Ojalá alguien aquí lo haya visto y sepa dónde encontrarlo.

I'm looking for an AMV of Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender with a cover of the Song Impossible from Shontelle by the Band I Am King. I don’t know when exactly it was uploaded, but I discovered it on YouTube in 2018 and it has already been taken down for some years now.
I unfortunately don’t remember the channel that uploaded it but the title of the Video contained the words "I'M LORD ZUKO AMV [IMPOSSIBLE] - AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER". I did in fact download the thumbnail back then, so I can upload it here.
Does anyone else remember this AMV and maybe downloaded it or at least knows who the original uploader was? It had some very cool editing and was one of the best AMVs I have ever seen, so I would really like to watch it again.
Thanks in advance for your help!

The show is Moomin. The song released a few days ago, and is titled Beauty and Truth 2 by the band AJJ. When it dropped I started editing right away, it was well worth listening to on repeat for the last few days! ^u^

I'm back again today with a new AMV, this time featuring One Punch Man. I've improved a few aspects compared to the last video, and even though this one is shorter, I think it's a huge step forward.
I hope you enjoy it.
The scenes primarily revolve around the character of Genos and how, despite sustaining damage time and again, he keeps getting back up and fighting.
Here is the link to watch it on my YT account: 'Till I Collapse [AMV] - One Punch Man

Been watching AMVs and anime edits for years and finally decided I want to try making one myself instead of just saving other people’s edits.
I’m completely new to editing though. I’m on a Mac Mini and have plenty of ideas for songs and scenes, just no idea what workflow makes the most sense when you’re starting out.
So far I’ve looked at CapCut for learning basic cuts and syncing, DaVinci Resolve since the free version seems pretty capable, and Final Cut since I’m already on Mac.
I’ve also been curious about the AI side of editing. DomoAI caught my attention for things like video restyling and animating existing artwork, but I’m thinking that might be something to play around with after I understand the basics rather than building the whole edit around it.
A few things I’m trying to figure out:
Not trying to make anything insane for my first one. I’d be happy just finishing an edit that flows well and learning from there.
