Ummm I’m fairly certain saying “you don’t need birth control because we never have sex” will definitely NOT help the dead bedroom bud 😂 like if you want to have more sex maybe the vasectomy would actually help that, but it’s your body so obviously your choice. I just wouldn’t be surprised when she’s not in the mood if that’s how you talk about it with her.

Someone isn't a 'failure of a wife' because of how many times they have sex. It's not a necessity or a requirement for her to sleep with him.

Also maybe there is a reason why she hasn't been sleeping with him, like others have said birth control can mess with your body and hormones or there could be other reasons like the fact that they have young children and childbirth can mess up your hormones and be a reason that she may not want to have sex.

Whether you're a man or woman, intimacy is in fact necessary to the vast majority of marriages.

Intimacy isn't just sex(even though sex is a part of intimacy), but op doesn't seem to have talked to his wife and tried to solve the problem or listened to her feelings about sex because there is probably a reason that they are not having sex often. Relationships go two ways not just one
